  1. I don't know how you guys do it. Whenever I attempt to fill a premium diaper to near capacity it always, ALWAYS leaks right at the bottom of my crotch. Mega Max, Rearz, Incontrol....you name it, they're all the same. No matter what diaper I'm in I will try to limit wetting them 3 times if I'm out in public. That's all I'll trust them for. If I'm at home it's right around 5 times before I start to notice the tell tale feeling of a crotch leak. Still....5 wettings is pretty significant for any diaper....let alone a premium one.
  2. One big benefit about being in diapers...especially if you're travelling through cities is not having to find a toilet if you are stuck in traffic. If you drive an SUV with fold down back seats you can even change your diapers in relative privacy if you need to.
  3. Good ol reliable Abena L4. It's taken quite a bit of abuse though so I'm probably going to change....in a bit...might wait and see 😁
  4. I don't think they're inherited. I think they are taught. I like to think that most people who see boorish behaviour have enough sense to not partake in it themselves.....although current times have certainly made me rethink that idea.
  5. I know this doesn't help you now....but when times are tough I rely on my stash of diapers that I built up over the years. Instead of rainy day diapers I have soggy day diapers 😉 I could wear 1 diaper a day for over 3 years at this point. I also try to take advantage of sales that come up from time to time. Healthwick here in Canada just blew out cases of Rearz Lil Monsters for a reasonable price so I bought 2. As always....keep an eye on thrift stores. I've only ever found drug store brands in my local stores but hey.....you never know when you might come across a great brand for cheap.
  6. Hey folks. If you like Rearz Lil Monster diapers, Age Comfort seems to be having a great sale on them right now. I found a case of XL Lil Monsters for 77.97 CAD which is a pretty good price IMO. Check it out at Age Comfort if interested.
  7. Like many of us...I went through the binge and purge cycles too. However....I could never really just give up wearing diapers as I used them when I wet the bed. There was definite times in my life where I really didn't enjoy them....that's for sure. All that has gone by the wayside now. These days I generally look forward to when I can diaper up. I haven't wet the bed in quite a while so the necessity has changed into desire. I really feel more comfortable wearing diapers now than I did in the past.
  8. What a haul!! All I ever seem to find in thrift stores are mass market brand pull ups or pharmacy chain cloth backed diapers. I've yet to come across any higher end medical brands or ABDL diapers.
  9. I do have some spread around the house a bit. The best 'find' I had was finding an unopened pack of the old style Bambino Classico's from when they first started making them. I still have ONE diaper left from that pack. My wife...on the other hand...has found my diapers in different cupboards around the house and always asks 'How many diapers do you NEED?' Fun times.
  10. I wet the bed until my mid 30's. I was fortunate to have parents that weren't all that concerned about it and I was kept in diapers for a super long time. I'm sure it was because my mother was sick of dealing with wet sheets. A wet diaper is a heck of a lot more easier to deal with. In my teens the wetting frequency lessened so I might have been wet once or twice a week. Once I found adult diapers then I wore all the time again just for comfort.
  11. My go to diaper is the Abena L4. I wear those all the time. If I'm out running errands I'm likely in one of those. From time to time I like to switch it up but the Abena is the ol' standby.
  12. I'm in an Abena L4 that is 'slightly' damp. Had to run some errands. Always best to run errands while wearing diapers.
  13. Even with the best diapers I've always found it damn near impossible to come anywhere close to the theoretical capacity limit. I fill up the front of the diaper and then subsequent wettings always seem to leak out the crotch. Sometimes it's a small leak and sometimes it's a gusher. In that regard I've found Rearz diapers to be better than Megamax diapers for my needs. Not sure who else does this but when I'm out in public I try to impose a 3 wetting limit. If I'm at home I will try to maximize capacity but it never ends up that way. I am sometimes pleasantly surprised when I can get 6 or 7 wettings into a high capacity diaper without leaks.
  14. Back in an InControl Original. Put it on a little tight though so it might not last too long.
  15. I'm rocking a InControl Original diaper right now. I like these diapers a lot.
  16. I'm at the end of the safety limits of an InControl Original diaper. She's leaking right now so it has to come off....
  17. ABkingdom still has great content. Reddit still has some good stuff....but there is internet drama over there these days so not too sure for how long.
  18. Yea I have a pile of diapers. A bit of a 'First World' issue I suppose....
  19. BC is a pretty big place. A location might narrow things down a bit...
  20. Absolutely destroyed an InControl Original diaper today. It was basically leaking from both leg gathers and front waistband. That diaper was HEAVY when I finally took it off a couple of minutes ago....

    UGH!

I had covid twice. What amazed me the most was the absolute loss of my sense of smell. Like...it was TOTALLY gone. Truth be told...it kinda freaked me out a little. I wondered if I'd ever get it back. Fortunately my sense of smell returned and I've had no lingering effects from the virus.
  22. I love diaper delivery day. Best to stock up for those 'Just in case' moments 😉
  23. I hear you Sherri. I was fortunate enough to grab a couple of cases of Megamax when they were more reasonably priced. 180 a case puts them well out of my price range when I can get Rearz and InControl diapers for much cheaper. Heck...even the Abena L4's have gone up in price. Sign of the time's we're living in I suppose....
  24. The Megamax XL size does not fit me well at all. Its too big. I actually had to drop down to larges in order to get a proper fit.... They are great diapers. I'm really impressed by how well they are put together...
  25. Hey Drummerboy27....I'm a big guy too tipping the scales at over 370 lbs. I can wear most XL diapers out there. That said...I wear the Abena L4's a lot of the time. Now this is going to sound silly....but it works for me. I can't put a diaper on in the usual way by lying down and taping it on. I have to pre-assemble the diaper and then pull it on like a pull up. Sounds weird but it works for me....and no...the tapes don't pop off when I'm pulling it on. The trick is that the diaper has to stay BELOW the belly. Anyway....one diaper that has the strongest tapes are NorthShore Megamax. Those tapes hold on tight. To the point that I find them difficult to take off. Another brand that holds on great is InControl Original and InControl Essentials. These are medical type diapers but they perform very well. The only diapers that I struggle with are the ones with the hook and loop type fasteners. they just don't stay attached when I'm pulling them up and my big ol belly gets in the way if I try to re-tape them. As far as ABDL diapers I've tried.....most diapers from Rearz that have tapes. Most diapers from ABU with tapes. Two tape diapers from both Rearz and ABU work well. In fact....I've yet to find a plastic backed diaper with tapes that I cannot make fit. As Crinklz mentioned it's best to get samples to see what really works for you. I recommend trying my method. Just go slow when you pull them up and have some fun.
