  1. There's actually a lot of furries on here - but sometimes people misunderstand what it means to be a furry (Or what you'd expect a furry to do!!) Fiighting in furry circles / groups seems to go on a lot - I don't really have an easy answer as to why - I've been in furry online communities since 1996, and its gone through various phases of trying to purify itself ('burned' furrs) - which is all pretty miserable. I suppose part of the problem is that some take it -very- seriously, some involve their religion (VERY bad idea) and some are there to have sex. Please don't pre-judge furries from this - again this all seems common in any group that has such a world-wide drawing. Furries have generally had bad press - after all we are a sitting (wagging?) target. We've never helped ourselves with some terrible press items either. Furry and AB/DL makes for an interesting combination - the same fanaticism comes out - and I guess thats what you're seeing. Some of us just lay back, and enjoy life. Furry and DL - makes me DP
  2. You don't seemed to have tried CVS Overnight's yet a really cheap and easy one to try. I know many critics of them, but I still find em very good for the price - and if doubled up - will last ages. Triple tabs, e-waistband and leak guards make em a cheap fun choice. Add a Depends boost for added thickness if wanted. Enjoy. DP
  3. Is it me or have all the diaper review images gone? ON the subject of the reviews - the duplication is getting worse - the listings are getting more disorganised - is there going to be any improvements to this system? DP
  4. If you look on the UK website about them - they state their only for up to 12 year olds - where as the Large Drynites/Goodnites - are up to 15 yo. They also state a smaller max weight for the shorts. Perhaps they realised in shorts format you need a stronger / snugger fit to ensure they stay up! I wonder if in good old American tradition - if the USA sizes will be bigger? Any USA pics? DP
  5. Most independent pharmacies and Lloyds stock Kendall nappies on shelf - you can spot them by their plain white packaging with blue lettering on. Their overnight / Super plus is okay, but no elastic or leg gathers - work ok doubled up and cheap DP
  6. Think thats bulky? Try an X-Plus with Abena's own Abri-Let Maxi stuffer. Its almost comical that Abena think someone would actually need an X-Plus AND their 26" stuffer - just to get by for a few hours I've done it a few times, and generally I've got worn out before the diaper did. No amount of wetting seemed to make it leak, but sheash it weighed a tonne by the end!! DP
  7. Hehe Wet diapers are great - and as mentioned by Simba, dry cloths are very murry - and I love the feeling of first flooding a dry cloth diaper - dat feels so naughty! When in disposables I nearly always tend to wear until it begins to leak. Found Pampers Changemats the perfect size for protecting your chair/seat - whilst having fun on DD and wetting - eeeep DP
  8. *wagwags* DP issa wuff! *ear perks for more attention* DP
  9. tiger The nappies you saw are most likely Kendall ones (in a plain white bag / blue writing?). Their super plus is roughly same as a cheap main brand diaper, and lacks leak guards and any elasticated waistband. Saying that - they absorb ok, and I have doubled them up (cut open the inner one down the middle) to great effect - lasted ages! Overall, not a shade on the Tenas I'm afriad - but good cheap nappies none the less. DP
  10. Just got 2 packs brought to the UK for me whoooo! First impressions from a UK user: 'their ok' - Not as amazing as I'd kinda been led to believe, in fact they only just hold up to the absorption of the UK Tena Maxi - and that has a nicer inner dry-feel layer. The plastic tape area makes for one of the noisiest nappies I have ever worn! Its kinda cool, just not very discrete - heheh They don't seem to bulk up to the same level that the Tenas do, but as stated do hold up in amount of wettings they'll take. Apart from the fancy front and higher cost - their a good nappy. Just wish they where available in the UK now. DP
  11. Biggest problem with disposable pull-ups - is keeping them up!!! Flood a pull-up and it immediately sags, not having the tight, strong twin tapes or outer plastic of a diaper. I'd love to see someone trying to walk around in this new pull-up with 42oz of liquid in em, without them sliding down their legs !! DP
  12. I've been using cloth only for past 9 days on and off since I have house to myself. I'm using a mixture of cloth pullons, inserts and velcro cloths I've brought from Save Express. Each time making a 3 layer diaper with plastic pants and then squeezing into my black jeans and a loose top. Every day I've been out in them - I'm sure any diaper spotters would notice my bulging jeans a mile away - LOL - but no-one else seems to notice, which is fun. Getting home again I change into a loose sports bottoms, and waddle around the house doing my best to make them leak. The most anytime I can seem to make them to is drip slightly from inside leg - but it takes a LOT of wetting to do. Certainly, if I didn't have a choice in wearing or not, cloths would be a more often choice, given their comfort and absorbancy, and being alone - the ease of cleaning. * I haven't messed in any yet - but its midnight now, I'm soaked and dying to go - so who wouldn't? DP
  13. Ooh will have to try! I found Uk Johnsons baby powder smelly heavenly DRY - but once wet stinks. I'm using Superdrug TLC at the moment, which I like. BY the way, can I also take this moment to recommend Johnson's baby Softwash Bodywash And Bedtime wash - its lovely DP
  14. Anyone tried em yet? Cant see any obvious excited reviews of them. stuff thats released in the usa does seem to eventually make it over here to the UK, or at least to the eu = and that would be close enough DP
  15. I brought a bag from John Bell recently (Maxi) - and actually found this dry layer very very comfortable when I'd wet -even when I'd wet several times, the diaper felt so much more comfy to be in then many others. It does swell up really nicely too, and crinkles - I can't see how anyone can complain about this, its perfect! DP
  16. Yup - 100% complain. It always seems to me customer service in the USA is rotten - the most common example of being ripped off being the infamous 'Mail-in Rebate' - That would just never be allowed in the UK, and I know a friend in Ohio who has fought legal battles with Best Buy to have them stop the practice. So many times they 'accidentally' lose your rebate, or say you havent filled in it right - why not just give the discount on the cash price? Its all a con as they KNOW so many people won't bother mailing in in rebates. Doesn't matter what the product or service is, they are there to serve YOU - not the other way around. Consumer power - if more people stood up against corporations trying to rip its customers off, they'd soon stop it. DP
  17. Missed an S out there http://www.mommiesscents.com/ There ya go! Wonder if you added some of that stuff to a scentless showergel or summit? hehehe DP
  18. Its 17.5% on the value of the item, plus a surcharge sometimes. I've ordered from www.llmedico.com (highly recommended) several times and never incurred Customs. But then I have when I used to order DVD's from there, so it does vary. DP
  19. I dunno - Arizona care's website is dreadfully out of date, and lacks legally-required company contact information, and much more. If anyone has ordered from them in the past 8 months, or knows of them personally - let us all know. DP
  20. *wuffs* Alllo *wagwags around* There's a few furrs on here, so welcome aboard! Heheheh - you know us furrs - we get everywhere DP
  21. Just brought some Tena Maxi from John Bell & Croyden (London) - first time I've had Tena for a while now, but in the UK the Maxi is still plastic covered, and very crinkly, and have a wide pink strip down the middle of em. I find these smaller then some other brands medium, but the filling when wet is MUCH more comfortable then say, kendall Super plus. Needless to say you all know they absorb very well and bulk up nicely too, my only downside to them (and i'm sat in a very heavy wet one right now) if that when wet they smell oddly - which I'm guessing is down to the different core in them. Great diaper though, and only £13.99 for 21! DP
  22. if yer in the UK - there are loads of online sites to order diapers from, or without doubt the world's largest selection of diapers is available from Save Express - the German online diaper store. Ordering from germany doesn't incur customs, so order as many as you like I've ordered from them several times, it comes inna plain box with just their returns address on it. 'Save Express' means nothing to anyone else -so your safe DP
  23. Buying the right sized plastic pants takes practice oddly!! You know you need ones a little bigger then your regular pants - but underestimate just how thick your diaper makes it I bet everyone buys too small to begin with BTW - I wear around my folks, generally in my bibbed jeans with training pants over a diaper, or just plastic pants. Other option that works nicely is black jeans. Jeans are generally tight enough to stop some crinkling and black is known as a good colour for hiding bulk LOL Have fun DP
  24. Heheheh EMAP - didn't know they where into that Good article - came across very well actually, and as a furry I've seen some pretty horiffic examples of article writing when it comes to fetishes. (Many people still see being furry as a fetish which isnt strictly correct) A lot of discussion goes on in furry circles about publicity. The general consensus - especially amongst the older and wiser furrs (no offence to younguns) - is that publicity isnt wanted nor does it help. The way the media works is that they will always want a angle, to poke fun at the wierd and unusual - and the old reasoning of 'If people know more about us, they'll more likely accept us' is good in theory, but never works when re-written by the Media. So whilst this article is a good one - I certainly wouldn't recommend others seeking publicity - there are magazines out there that will tear you apart if you give them the chance. (LOADED being a great example) Let those seeking the fetish find out facts themselves, rather then attempt to shove it into everyones faces is the general agreement in these things DP
  25. I remember the days when my waist was under 30" *sigh* Enjoy em whilst you can DP
