I can't think of any reason why they would have a weaker bladder, or specifically be more into it as a deliberate act. However, I'd say the LGBTQ+ people are, on the whole, more open/honest about what they're into, and more willing to experiment / try new things. So maybe they're more likely to have tried it as a kink, and more likely to admit it, if it is something they like.

It entirely depends on the task. If I just need to be held in place, and not hurt enough to thrash around, then handcuffs are fast, secure, and I like the feel of cold steel against my skin. If I'm being restrained, and then motivated to try to escape 🤣 then it's leather cuffs, I can thrash and fight all I want, without hurting myself or breaking a wrist, and I love the creaking sound when you strain against stiff leather. If we're just having a relaxing time, then nothing beats laying on the mat for 20-30 minutes, and being expertly tied, manipulated, and positioned (even suspended) in shibari. And done properly, it's comfortable for hours.
