  1. If not wearing a diaper I am either wet or worried about wetting, so definitely sleep better in a diaper.
  2. Previously they were only offering the disposables in bulk for resale. Too costly to ship heavy cases from China most likely.
  3. Between the stress of all the work we have going on, and my exhaustion from doing it, the last two nights I've had to get up around 2AM and change due to leaking diapers. First night was a Dry 24/7 with booster and last night a Bambino with booster, so I can't blame the diapers. Going to try two boosters and plastic pants tonight to hopefully get more sleep, but mdnight changes might just have to be for a while! If so, I'll probably set a soft alarm to change earlier a I don't like wetting my bed.
  4. Wearing on his own time seems fair for now. But I hope if the relationship gets more serious (living together or marriage) that you can find a happy middle ground (ie: can wear while working around the house or when alone - but not in bed or anything like that.)
  5. Welcome to the family. "Understanding" yourself is good. Explore your diaper side and try and learn what it is about wearing diapers you like.
  6. Yes, we are aiming for way above code. The new back deck is being built to be "close'in" ready as we're debating making it a sunroom. Steel post supports, full joists and a finished roof. Basically we'd just have to take the handrails down and put in windows to finish it. 7AM and the tree service is back finishing up their work. So much for a little sleep! lol. I got all the closet moves done, today I have to do the books in the den (grumble!) and get a plumber out here to deal with a leaking pipe we found when inspecting everything before the work began.
  7. On the 8x10's? $10 for the print, actual shipping and cost of the tube. Probably right around $15 complete. Larger ones would depend on how many people want one as the first one is expensive, but the price-per-print goes down big time when you order more. For example: 1 16x20 = $30 5 16x20 = $23 each 10 16x20 = $18 each
  8. I have 5 8x10 prints on cavas right now. Willing to sell 4 and a if interest warrants a limited number of larger ones.
  9. 8X10 Canvas print for Nurseries and playrooms. I call it "Big 'Kids' Club" Characters made by my graphic design team. background was digitally painted by me and embellished with a marble print.
  10. ^ Duck gets a cookie. It's not a traditional "Plastic Pant" as we know it, but it is a fancy, waterproof diaper cover with double leg gathers
  11. So today we have a tree company coming to take down two trees that are threatening to take our house out - which also makes room for the first crews who have to tear off our back porch, replace the exposed lumber on our house that is rotting, then build a new deck that is actually constructed correctly. Meanwhile I have to completely empty two closets and toss or store enough stuff to fit it in a single closet, so the Den closet's content can be moved to the now open one. Then completely empty said den of thousands of books, a freezer and floor-to-ceiling bookcases so eventually the entire den floor and closet can be ripped out and replaced, down to the joists and studs and rebuilt. ... and this is just stage one.
  12. Should I be worried that the contractor looks like Garth Brooks and sounds like Larry the Cable Guy?
  13. Sorry for my firmness and parent-like scolding. After this post I'm going to step out of this thread. I can understand both main opinion groups (way to go - or - over-reacted) but as an incontinent man (relatively young still I suppose) I take offense to the general public opinion that adult diapers are comic fodder unless you are an 80-something woman. The clerk would never have said that to an old lady, but felt okay saying it to a young guy. That's my issue. The lack of respect, understanding and acknowledgment that incontinence affects millions of people of all ages. The clerk likely assumed that they were for 'grandma" so felt he could joke with the OP about it. But working in a health-care environment SHOULD come with a certain level of respect and discretion towards the customers. As a diaper-lover it's a funny anecdote. As an incontinent adult its an insult. Quite honestly if it had happened to me I would have played along and made a funny comment back, because I am comfortable with my needs... but I think about if the clerk said that to a young person with incontinence buying protection for the first time: The humiliation of walking into CVS and buying a bag of diapers and presenting them to a stranger behind the counter only to be made fun of and laughed at. Anyway, 'Clock' forgave the clerk and took steps to make sure it doesn't happen again to him or someone else. The 'kid' learned a lesson and may have to sit through a sensitivity lecture, but will keep his job and hopefully be a bit more sensitive behind the counter, and I got to stand on my Incontinent-Rights soapbox for a minute - all the time hoping I don't have an accident and cause suds to leak out of said box. Case closed.
  14. I worked retail for many years. The cashier WAS innapropriate. We are talking about a CVS, not a walmart or ace hardware. People go to drugstores to make personal purchases and expect privacy and respect. If the "kid" wants to joke around I'm sure the GameStop is hiring. The cashier is welcome to go home and joke with his buddies about the young guy buying adult diapers. But when he has the red vest and name tag on he has a job to do and rules to follow. Could the OP have laughed it off and go on with his day? Yep... if he found it funny. He didn't, and that's why you don't make such comments in a pharmacy. We weren't there, only the OP knows the tone and context of what was said, so I trust his feelings. Its easy to call it an over-reaction from the saftey of our keyboards. But would you really be ok with it if some mocked your health-care purchases? And what if it was your kid buying needed GoodNites, or your mother buying Poise pads? Would you want them to be treated with respect, or expect them to suck it up and take it? Stop trying to make the OP feel bad about being mocked and disrespected.
  15. Good references, clean BBB record and all the right licenses and insurance. Doing 50K worth of work, but doing it in staged - and paying in stages to make sure it all gets done right.
  16. Got contractors starting work on needed repairs today. Will be in and out for a couple weeks.
  17. Very good job! That's all I can say. You handled it perfectly, and exactly how I would if embarrassed by that. I've had teen cashiers giggle under their breath - and I can both understand and ignore that - but to actually say something and treat you that way - THAT had to be handled on the spot and with the higher-ups. CVS and Walgreens have killed local, attentive pharmacies and home medical stores, so they now have to live up to the responsibility they wanted to care for the health needs of the public.
  18. Haven't measured a "7" but it seems these would fit up to a 28" waist without modification.
  19. I support a local theater company and last night they had their Youth Showcase performing songs from different shows. One of the numbers they did was "Good Morning" in which they all wore their own pajamas as they sang. As teens these were all modern pajama sets and lounge-wear except for the slightly effeminate high-schooler who wore a bright blue dino-print footed sleeper. Was cool to see him proudly showing his kid-side in front of all his friends and a full audience. Note for the "OMG" crowd: Not implying any AB tendencies to this guy, but as a "big kid" myself I like jammies and fun clothes, so it made me smile. And if you have a local theatre company near you: Check it out! They can always use some support and there is some incredible talent out there!
  20. Got a login page and a banner ad of a hardcore sex scene.
  21. Those famous designer diapers that go for hundreds on ebay. managed to get a single diaper from a kind DD member to show here.
