Recently, I've been reflecting on my need for diapers.

I've been there before - for decades really.

I've never had a shrinkage problem. However, I buy diaper flannel by the yard and make my own diapers, so that means I prewash the fabric before cutting and binding it. That way if it does shrink, it most likely won't shrink any more on the next washings. If you buy ready-made diapers, consider going up a size or two to accommodate shrinkage.

I don't think I have to worry about throwing them out just yet. I'm enjoying way to much to get rid of them. Just changed into a dry one after slowly soaking my first one for five hours. I thought I completely emptied my bladder in last one but as soon as I taped this one on I had to wet again. I had no idea a wet full diaper could feel this good. I didn't think it could get so heavy and squishy, and the warmth. I'm in heaven.

Ok.. for me I have to have something on over my diapers. This probably comes from my past. My mother used to punish me with diapers for wetting and messing accidents and I wasn't usually allowed to wear anything over my diapers. She felt it was a better way to embarrass me by not allowing anything other than a t -shirt over my diapers. That way the world could see I was wearing them.
