The SDKs are back in stock, but the Cushies still say "expected September 2014".

ABUniverse.com Still in Business? Worried I'm Ripped-Off
wetvinyl replied to SnuggleTime's topic in Store / Company Reviews
I've ordered from them many times over the past 3-4 years, and never had a problem... but now I've checking in on this thread, just to see if something's going on with them... -
I haven't tried the Sissy ones, but IMHO the Cushies seem to hold a bit more than the SDKs. I made a post about this elsewhere, but basically-- I've worn both in a Large size, and the fit of a SDK always feels a bit tighter than a Cushie. And the tighter a diaper is, the more likely it is to "wring out" when you move around, like a wet towel being twisted. So even though the absorbancy of a SDK and a Cushie may be the same, the tighter fit of a SDK makes it leak a little sooner....

Just wanna make an observation about sizing, Cushies vs SDKs:

Diapers: Which Brand Are You Wearing Right Now?
wetvinyl replied to Pseudocrem's topic in Diaper Lovers
A large Cushie, with a Luvs sz 5 for a stuffer.... -
Well, apparently Plastic Mommy found my posted offering of services so rediculous that they pulled their pics from DD's photo updates.

Raul-- Welcome to the community... you've already started to discover the many people who have helpful advice for you, as you wander into this world. I'm a DL who discovered my love for diapers in the early 70s--- WAAAAAY before the internet, and anything like this (or any) website-- so I'm telling you: Live The Dream! You've already started to figure out what your particular diapering needs are, for your particular needs. Everyone's a little different... you're well on your way. But about the "are people noticing that I'm diapered?" question-- let me be the first to address that one: Generally, NO. Not at all. It's not people's first thought. They're complete, random strangers on the street-- you're in and out of their awareness in 5 seconds. Whatever fleeting impression they may have noticed of you will be gone in 15 seconds. Your diapers are such a random, arbitrary possibility to them-- you'd pretty much have to bend over and flash them a backside-waistband shot to make them aware that you're wearing diapers. Seriously. I've been wearing diapers in public under my jeans (not for need-- just for I don't care) for 15 years. I've never been aware of anybody paying any attention. Never! Even when I first started wearing them out in public, and I was hyper-aware of other people-- NEVER. It's never been a thing. PEOPLE JUST DON'T NOTICE IT. Even super-crinkly disposable diapers-- no, I wouldn't wear them in a quiet environment, but in an out-and-about public situation it's pretty safe to say nobody will notice. Raul-- it's pretty simple: Just don't let anybody actually SEE your diaper, and nobody will suspect. At the very worst: If your diaper actually starts to SMELL? People won't think "diaper"; they'll just think "BAD PERSONAL HYGIENE". (But you, personally, should have changed a LONG time ago.) Seriously-- "he's wearing a diaper" is a really, REALLY random bullet-point for most people to arrive at. In summary? Put on your diaper... pull on a comfy pair of pants over them... and get out into the world, without paranoia. Nobody knows-- or cares. Hell-- after I post this, I'm gonna change into a dry diaper (Bambino Bellissimo and plastic pants) and head out to a bar to see a friend's band. Lots of beers, no worries. cheers... and have fun! Mark.

Calling on the collective knowledge-base of DD! My girlfriend is currently in Pampers pullups, but she saw this pic and said "OMG I LUVVEM!!!" I've never seen this print before... Help, PLEASE wv.

Everybody's suggesting "slitting" the inner diaper-- making a long cut. Whenever I tried that, I always had to deal with lots of soggy gel particles showering everywhere, at change-time. That's when I stopped making long slits, and just poked 1/4-inch holes in the inner diaper with a pen or the point of a knife. 5 or 6 holes in the front and back, and another 4 or 5 right down the middle of the between-the-legs part. No more soggy gel explosions wv

Depends Max Protection Large Size-- Discontinued?
wetvinyl replied to wetvinyl's topic in Product Reviews and Info
I've been seeing the new packaging here in E Mass for over a year now... but I still see the old design on shelf for some of the other Depends products (SuperPlus, etc), along with their new designs. Just checked Depend.com-- the Large Max are still listed... ok... Yeah... but, I dunno if I'll be giving the heads-up to that RiteAid manager. I mean, whatever-- if they're NOT discontinued, Wally will have 'em a little cheaper... and that's where I go to fill my scrips anyway... wv
