There are many many topics around TSA and flights in general.
TSA doesn’t care about your diaper. They experience all kinds of things that could be a danger. Diapers are NOT one of them.
The flight crew doesn’t either  Same story as the TSA  I have carried a diaper to the lavatory on long flights  Only one time in my life one reached  It was a flight home from Tokyo. She asked if she should help 🤷🏻‍♂️.
Culture is amazing to explore. That’s a different topic though 👍🏼

Yeah, I've been through the TSA about 400 times in a diaper now. How it goes varies by location, what technology they employ, and the tact level of the officer you are dealing with, but it's never been a "problem", just sometimes a slight bump in the road. You have to accept that they're going to know you wear diapers. But they process 5000 people a day - you're unimportant to them, unless you are carrying contraband, or anything dangerous. I've never done a diaper change on a flight before, but the longest flight I've been on since I started wearing diapers again was about 8 hours. I was a bit worried about my diaper by the end of that one, but I changed it in the terminal washroom. I have no idea what the heck I would do with a diaper the weight of a dead raccoon in an aircraft washroom - the bins they allocate for waste usually have tiny openings - you could barely fit a baby diaper through it! How did you dispose of the old one, @Always In Diaper?

I've never had a problem with the TSA even before I had Precheck.

I did have them ask "Do you have a powder in your bag?"   Fortunately, it was my anti-fungal powder and not baby powder.  (Powders are OK, but liquids are not, but they're hard to differentiate in the X Ray apparently).

I did have a bag which had nothing in it but an unopened package of disposable diapers.   The XRay operator (smaller airport) gave me a sly smile but that was about it.

Never had a problem with the WTMD or the Nud-o-vision.   I always make sure I'm clean and dry before going through security.   I don't know how wet, let alone, poopy would show up on the nud-o-vision.

Just put on a thick diaper with booster(s) and they should last the whole flight.

Been many years since I have taken a plane ride, but I drive a lot in the summer, and I would say that is about the same when it comes to wearing and not having to change.
12 hours in same diaper shouldn't be a problem. I have gone much longer than that.

@willnotwill:  I don't know how poopy would show up on the nud-o-vision, but the slightly damp diaper (from sweat, not pee) shows up as a yellow block on the screen in the appropriate (general) area....  Now that I've been dealing with early onset of BPH, the reason for the dampness has changed...  And more likely to trigger the additional inspection.....  But I haven't been flying recently.

As long as they are rolled up tight, you can squeeze one through.  I've disposed of many Tena Maxi on long flights, even a few Ultima.  The biggest challenge was a BetterDry on a flight from Sydney to Abu Dhabi.

I've disposed of super-thick diapers in those tiny bins many times. Works better if you don't roll them up, usually. I fly almost every week and rarely have issues. I've recounted over the years the few times I have had issues, but 2 weeks ago going through a small airport, I got selected for random selection and had to go through the nude-o-scope. It detected my dry Sunkiss Masterpiece. TSA agent asked me if I wanted to to a private room...nope...been there, done that. He patted me down, pretty sure felt my diaper, but never questioned me about it, and sent me on my way within seconds. I'll avoid the private room detour if given an option from here on out.

I had an issue when i had a transfer in Doha, and didn't change before heading through security.   It flagged and I had show my diaper.

Since then, I always wear a Pull-up before I head through security, and then put my diaper after I clear security.   Last week I flew to Portland.  I accidently put the TSA-Pre in my bag, so I had to go through the scanner.  My pull-up flagged, but no issue.
