Having a heck of a time with my diapers lately...

So my wife and I went to see Deadpool and Wolverine yesterday at our local theatre.  I wore one of my ID Slip Maxi diapers which I always have had great results with.  Going to the movie was kinda last minute so I already had 2 cups of coffee on board and of course I got a large drink to go along with my popcorn.  So...sure enough about 20 minutes into the film...I need to pee...so I just let nature take its course.  I used that diaper 4 times before the end of the movie.  Everything felt fine after the 4th wetting but I didn't realise that I started to leak around my legs.  As I was walking out of the theatre I wet a 5th time and then I really noticed the leak.  Had to rush home for a diaper change.  Thank god for leather seats :D.

So today...I decide to wear my old standby Abena L4 diaper to run some errands and do some grocery shopping.  I can usually rely on these diapers for 3 wettings when I'm out in public.  I can usually get 5 big wettings into them if I'm at home.  Anyway....I was out for quite a while and wet 3 times...as usual.  Well on the last wetting I must've had a pinhole leak in the front of the diaper because that's where my pants got wet.  Perhaps I poked a hole or something into it when I was putting it on but it left a significant wet spot on my underwear and my shorts.

I'm gonna wear a Megamax next to reduce my chances of bad luck....but they say that kinda stuff comes in 3's....

one of the reasons I did not review them very well was pinhole leaks and LIGHTER plastic film / backing - I use Rearz Nighttime Mega absorbencys all day 24 -7 or some sort of pull up - THANK YOU very much MS

If you're looking for a way to help stop leaks, you can always try a plastic pant over top of your diapers. I wear a Northshore Trifecta waterproof pant when I wear a cloth-backed diaper. It does add a little more bulk but a plastic pant helps contain leaks. But that also might make it even hotter, given it is summer. 😆  I sweat enough in my plastic backed diapers lol.

I wear the Abena L4's a lot and can count on 1 hand the number of pinhole leaks I've had in these over the last few years or so.  Given the size of the leak I'm am convinced that I must've poked a hole in it somehow before I put it on.

I've worn a couple of more L4's since with no leaks at all.  In fact...I just took one off about 20 minutes ago and it was all good.

Pinhole leaks can be hindered by inserts and underwear, or is it overwear....

Tena had a issue with pinholes, but when I started using inserts, and the pee didn't flood the outer plastic, the leaking went away.

i have not seen ID Slip Maxi diapers PE in a long time. I got a few left over from a pack in my stash.

I managed to grab a few bags when they were being discontinued.  I only wear them when I go to the movies so I still have quite a few left.  I like them but they are being outclassed by more modern diapers these days....

the modern diapers seem to all seem to just add this big plastic part for the tape tabs so u can undo and re do i am not a fan of.

Rearz diapers have a front landing zone for the tapes, but truthfully, diapers were not made to be undone and redone numerous times.

why not? keeps the adult diaper from ripping open at the tape tab stress points
