I suspected Chris.

I thought he was a victim himself.

But no, this filthy guy is the perpetrator.

I can't believe it.

Oh, this is going to be exciting.

This is going to be really exciting.

And just for your information, I hope it all ends well, otherwise I'll fly to England and come and visit you.

XD well... umm....

Daaaaamn. Chris has been acting weird, but to have him confirm his complicity so bluntly. Whoa. Someone is gonna get a major ass-whooping. (Character, not author. Speaking only for myself, of course) 😉

Some of the threats I've received say otherwise... :P The amount of spankings I've been threatened with... I wouldn't be able to sit down for weeks if actually received them all!

Chapter 30: Red

Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess

All I saw was red.

I didn’t have Charlie to hold me back or tell me to just drop it. I didn’t have my friends nearby. Malcolm was in the audience, but he wasn’t quick enough to stop me from doing something very, very stupid.

Pouncing on Chris, I started flailing about, hitting him as hard as I could, wherever I could, as he lay there on the floor, screaming for help.

I didn’t care. He… he caused what happened to Charlie. He… the head of LIBRA… was the corruption all along. He is the one pulling the strings like some fucking evil genius… and for what end? What could be worth putting my fucking wife in a fucking coma?

I heard security rush the stage and all the press snapping pictures left and right, most likely trying to get the perfect picture that showed just what littles are capable of and why they should be regressed and kept as infants.

But I didn’t care. This man… this monster… he hurt my Charlie, and I would make him pay.

Clawing at his face, trying to hurt him as much as he hurt Charlie… I felt a hand grab my arm and pull me off, holding me back.

One security guard held me back whilst the others around us rushed to Chris to see if he was okay. One guard was all that was needed with me being a little, as our security are all Amazons.

“LET ME AT HIM! HE HURT CHARLIE! HE HYPNOTISED HER AND PUT HER IN A FUCKING COMA!” I screamed, making sure everyone heard me.

“OLIVIA! OLIVIA!” I heard the press call out. “WHAT IS THIS ABOUT HYPNOSIS? AMAZONS CAN’T BE HYPNOTISED LIKE LITTLES CAN. WHY WOULD YOU MAKE SUCH ACCUSATIONS?” They shouted, trying to ask their questions over the chaos that was happening around us.

I struggled against the tight grip of the Amazon security guard clad in black gear, but his strength far surpassed my own. So I focused my attention on the members of the press trying to squeeze over to get closer to me for a comment.

“LIBRA has technology… technology that can be used on Amazons! It can regress any of you just like it can any other little!”

I wish they could have heard me speak the truth. I wish they had heard what I had to say, but the ensuing chaos surrounding us meant that my quiet voice was inaudible and my message was lost.

“Call an ambulance. Don’t bother with the police. I already have their permission for this.” I heard a familiar voice taking charge of the situation, before one of the crowd surrounding Chris stood up straight and looked directly at me.

The Deputy Prime Minister. Rachel Brackenstone.

Of course she was here.

Brunette hair down to her shoulders, thick rimmed glasses perched on the tip of her nose, wrinkles adorning her very toned face… she looked good for her age, honestly. And as usual, she was wearing one of her very conservative dresses, never opting for a suit or even a blazer. She was the epitome of femininity. To me… she always reminded me of an old librarian.

She was always in the background, keeping quiet, as the PM turned against littles and focused entirely on preserving the status quo. She had always been against little’s rights, but she was mostly harmless before the election. She always appeared to be very much on the fence, hence why I had decided to run for their party. But then we won, and just like the others… she showed her true colours.

Always talking down to me, demeaning me, treating me like a child… she was just as bad as the rest of them. And here she was… looking at me with the creepiest grin on her face.

“Oh Olivia… you overstepped this time.” She said, walking over to where the security guard held me.

“Mrs Brackenstone…” A reporter called out. “Will your party punish this little girl for her crime?”

She turned to the reporter and put on that innocent, sweet smile of hers she saves for the cameras.

“Miss Clarke should be punished for her crime, just like any criminal. But I also believe that sometimes… little’s just aren’t raised properly. So I’ll make sure she is re-raised to be a good little baby…”

My heart sank.

“Does this mean what I think it means? Are you…?” A reporter asked her.

“Adopting Miss Clarke? Absolutely.”

“YOU CAN’T DO THIS!” I screamed. “LEGALLY I’M… MMPHHHH!” Before I could finish my sentence, a dummy gag was inserted into my mouth and quickly inflated, preventing me from speaking.

“You broke the law and attacked someone, showing that you are clearly unable to be a grown up. And yes, whilst your marriage would mean that Charlie would become your Mummy… she’s currently in a coma, correct?”

“Miss Williams really is in a coma?” Another reporter asked.

“So with no Mummy to take care of you… I’ve decided I will take the role and adopt you myself.” Rachel turned and grinned at me.

I struggled as hard as I could, trying my best to free myself, but this guard’s grip was not going to give way any time soon.

“Mrs Brackenstone…” The PM’s advisor rushed up to her. “We’ve got it handled here. Ambulance is on its way, Chris will make it with just a few facial scars. If you want to take little Livie here, and get her adopted before…”

“Before her little Judge friend turns up… yes, good idea. Let’s go get you legally adopted, shall we?” Rachel said, turning to me.

I gulped as she indicated to the guard to follow her.

-------------------------------------------------------------

We pulled up outside the nearest adoption centre, and my nerves were completely shot.

I was powerless to resist any of this, not only due to their Amazon strength compared to my own, but also by the restraints they had put me in…

…As if they knew they’d be needed.

“Jeffrey, Marshall… wait outside the car for a minute, then you can help carry her in.” She told the security escorts who drove us here. Both well-built, sharply dressed men got out of the car, closed the doors and waited at the front of the car, leaving the Deputy Prime Minister and myself in the car, with me safely strapped into a car seat, unable to move, unable to speak… unable to do anything right now.

“I’m sure you have a million questions right now. And you’re a clever little girl… I’m sure you worked out that this was all planned. You’ve been getting too big for your nappies lately… and needed knocking down a peg. Once we heard that Chris had the technology to hypnotise Amazons, I had this perfect idea to make Charlotte Williams… just like the rest of us Amazons. Or at least the few who still believe in how things should be. You did a great job at swaying the public, as a large amount of the population are actually siding with your silly little beliefs that littles are equal to Amazons. But don’t worry, once they see you being paraded about in your thick lil nappies and shitting yourself on stage… no one will believe that anymore.”

I screamed at her, but most of it was muffled by the dummy.

“I don’t know how you got yourself free of the hypnosis, as we programmed Charlie to want to hypnotise you. But believe me… I’ll make sure it sticks this time. You’ll be latched onto my tit, shitting yourself, and looking adorable. And there’s nothing that wife of yours can do.”

I sighed, knowing she was right… that there was literally nothing I could do right now to save myself, especially with Charlie out of it. It meant that legally… I think this bitch can actually adopt me. Even if Charlie wakes up… it may be too late at that point.

“So we’re going to go in, fill out a few forms, get you chipped and tagged, then you’ll be coming home with me. Then tomorrow… we’ll have another press event where I tell the country that you have been stripped of your position as both a member of Parliament… AND as a big girl. And that you’ll be going to the House of Commons… in a stroller. Does that sound good, babygirl? And if you’re well behaved… I won’t get you renamed whilst I’m here. Though I think you should at least take my last name, if you’re going to be my daughter.”

I wanted to be sick. This… this was… I needed my wife. I needed Charlie. I didn’t know what to do… I felt so lost right now.

Rachel signalled to the escorts, who walked over and opened both back doors. Whilst one helped my soon-to-be-Mummy out of her side, the other lifted the whole car seat out of the back using the carry handle, and carried me behind the Deputy PM into the adoption centre.

-----------------------

“Name?” The adoption centre manager asked my kidnapper. Wearing a polo-shirt with the company logo on it, with her blonde hair pulled up into a ponytail… she just looked… normal. As if she didn’t ruin little’s lives every day by giving them away to Amazons.

“Mrs Rachel Brackenstone.” Rachel replied, positioning me carefully on the counter.

“Occupation?”

“Deputy Prime Minister.”

“Wait… I thought you looked familiar!” The manager laughed. “Reason for adoption? Sorry, I need to ask, it’s on the form.”

“Little assaulted someone. I’m re-raising her in response. If she’ll ever even get that far…”

“This little kid assaulted someone?”

“Don’t think she’s an innocent little baby. She’s vicious. Don’t let her out of the carrier.” Rachel warned.

“Thank you for informing us. We’ll keep her in it for the health checkup. Now… What is her name?”

“Olivia Clarke. Though I’d like to change it to Olivia Brackenstone, please.”

“Are you married?”

“Yes. My husband will be so happy he’s finally a Daddy!”

‘A… Daddy? Please… no…’

“His name?” The adoption centre manager asked.

“Neil Brackenstone.”

“Occupation?”

“He’s on the board for this place.”

“He is? Oh wow…” The Manager responded, shocked by this information.

Honestly… so was I. I didn’t know just how corrupt and anti-little my party was. I just believed whatever Chris told me. And it’s clear now that he had his own agenda, and wasn’t wanting to improve the lives of littles at all.

“How long will this take? I need to get home soon.” Rachel said, sighing.

“If you’d like to fill in this form… I’ll take little Olivia here into the back for a quick checkup and get her processed. Would you like any…”

“Chipped with tracking, please.” Rachel said, cutting her off.

“Right-o… okay little Livie… let’s get you looked over for your new Mummy…” The Manager said, gripping the handle of my carrier and lifting me off the counter.

I was carried off into the backroom, where a clinical table stood in the middle, surrounded by the usual cabinets you’d see in a Doctor’s examination room. And I knew just what this ‘checkup’ would entail. I’d have every orifice checked, my heartrate taken, everything. It would be invasive and disgusting and dehumanising. And I dreaded it so much right now, my heart racing as she settled me down on top of the examination table.

“Your new Mummy says you’re going to be a handful… so we’ll have to be very careful with you, won’t we, sweetheart? But don’t worry, I’ll try to make it as painless as possible. And then when you’re chipped and tracked… your Mummy will never lose you! Now… let’s just do a quick scan for existing nanites, as your Mummy may want to get you adapted in the future, and she’ll need to know beforehand if there are already nanites in you. You silly littles pick them up so easily from all sorts of places!”

The Manager brought a scanner over my body, which instantly gave off signals.

“Oh… you do! Let’s see what they’re there for, shall we?”

She pressed a few keys on the keyboard under the table before I heard screeching sounds coming from under me.

“What the fuck? What the hell caused my computer to do that?” She cried out and stepped back in shock.

I laughed behind the dummy, knowing full well that Faith must have added a few features to my nanites in that latest patch. Features I’d no doubt have to ask for details about if I ever get out of this predicament, but right now I just appreciated that I seemed to have some defence against this woman trying to process my adoption.

“Fine. We’ll do it the old fashioned way without a scan. I’ll just note it as ‘has existing unknown nanites’. Now for… wait, what’s that noise?”

I had no idea what she was talking about as she stopped completely in her tracks, listening for a non-existe…

*thump*

‘Wait… no… I hear it…’

*thump*

“What is that? It sounds like it's coming from outside…” She said, putting down her pen.

*thump*

A smashing sound echoed through the building as the door opened quickly and three people clambered in, hastily closing the door behind them. The Deputy PM looked terrified as she rushed over to the table, whilst her escorts barricaded the door with their backs.

“What’s going on?” The Manager asked Rachel, a slight hint of panic in her voice.

And with her own panicked voice and a terrified expression on her face, Rachel looked at me.

“They’re here… for her.”

You're mocking me right?

Another one of those cliffhangers?

The threat of adoption again?

Oh, you are so unbelievably mean.

The deputy is kind of creepy how excited she is to adopt Liv?

Oh and Chris still got away with it way too well.

How could Malcolm be so stupid not to stay with Liv near the stage.

And clever that they want to do it quickly before their judge friend can intervene.

Now I have to wait until Wednesday just so you can tease us with another cliffhanger.

I think a lot of people are going to suffer a lot soon.

Let Charlie wake up first.

It'd be real cool if it was a swarm of angry Littles at that door. We should come up with a good collective noun for them of it is.

A misbehavior perhaps?

Well Chris just sucks. Was he just jealous of Olivia's popularity or always two faced?

Chapter 31: Escape

Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess

Violently pulling the dummy from my mouth, Rachel Brackenstone, the Deputy Prime Minister, looked at me with… with fear in her eyes.

“You little brat! What did you do?” She yelled straight at my face.

“I…” I coughed and sputtered as I finally regained the use of my mouth, as the enormous dummy gag had kept it ajar for far too long, making it hurt a little still. “What do you mean?”

“The people outside…”

“What people?” I asked, confused about who she was talking about.

“The people chanting ‘Free Olivia’, that's who!”

‘People… are chanting to free me? Who?’ I thought to myself.

I was still stuck in this carrier seat, and completely immobile for the time being, so I was still at the mercy of my captors. But the sound outside was getting louder and louder. All we could hear from the other side of the door was smashing and lots of loud voices, getting closer and closer.

“What are we going to do?” Asked the adoption centre manager.

“We give them the brat.” One of the security escorts suggested. “They want her, we can use her as a distraction whilst we escape out the back.

“Not a chance. I’m not letting this little brat go free, not after all this effort…” Rachel snapped at her escort.

“Well this isn’t worth my life…” The escort replied, pulling away from the door, much to the surprise of Rachel, but also of the other escort, who was left alone to hold the door closed, with his back against it.

“Jeff… come on, dude…” The remaining escort pleaded to his colleague.

“Sorry Marsh. You saw how many of them there are. Even if the police arrive…”

‘Just how many people are out there?’ I wondered, looking at just how frightened this guard was.

“But…”

“Last chance.”

“I’m coming with you.” The adoption centre manager spoke up. “I don’t know what’s going on out there, but I don’t want to be caught up in whatever this is.”

“Fine…” Marshall replied, pulling away from the door, leaving a distraught Rachel standing there beside my carrier, screaming at the three who had opted to leave her behind.

“Bring me with you!” She pleaded.

“If you leave the little here, you can come with us. Otherwise…”

“I can’t! She needs to be regressed! It’s how we planned it! It has to…” Rachel whined.

The noises had reached the door as something heavy bounced against the other side of it.

“Last call…”

“I’ll make sure you never work again…” Rachel growled at them, defiant till the end.

“It’s your life, Ma’am.” Jeffrey said before leaving, with Marshall and the manager following close behind him.

Rachel turned to me with pure hatred in her eyes.

“You little shit. What if I just… ended you… right now…” She said, looking around for something.

My heart started beating more and more quickly as I worried what she had planned for me. But not just that… I worried what force was on the other side of that door.

Pulling out a syringe from a cabinet drawer, she also pulled out a vial.

“We just needed to regress you. To show the country you littles aren’t cut out to be grown ups. You are meant to be ours to keep. If I can’t do that, and I can’t have you… I’ll make sure your movement ends with you…”

Filling the syringe with a large amount of the vial’s contents, I went to open my mouth to plead for my life… to buy whatever time I could before hopefully I was rescued… maybe…

But before I could even do that, the door smashed open and in walked a familiar, and very welcome face.

A face that walked over to the Deputy Prime Minister and punched her in the jaw, knocking her to the floor before she could react.

“Claire!” I yelled with relief.

“Hey kiddo…” She said, smiling down at me, before turning and rushing over to me as a few more people filled the doorway.

The loud noises quietened a bit as my Amazon friend put down what looked like a baseball bat onto the examination table and unbuckled me from the car seat and lifted me up into her arms.

“Got you, kiddo. You okay? They didn’t do anything to you, did they?” She asked.

“I… no… not yet. They scanned for nanites, but that’s it. She was about to inject me with something though…”

I looked down to see Rachel unconscious on the floor.

“Yeah, by the looks of it it would have been an overdose of a paralysing agent used to restrain unruly littles…” A man said, picking up the vial that had dropped onto the floor. Claire was blocking my view of him, so I couldn’t see who it was.

“Wait…” I said, realising I knew that voice. “Malcolm?”

“Sup, brat?” He grinned. “As if I’d let that monster do anything to my favourite baby.”

“You say that now. Sorry Liv, but in about 9 months time you’re probably going to have to take second place.” Claire replied, rolling her eyes at her partner.

“I… I think I’m okay with that. How… how did… what happened?” I asked, feeling relief.

“One second…” Claire said, looking out into the huge crowd of people filling the adoption centre waiting room.

Like… wow… I wasn’t expecting this many people.

“WE GOT HER!” She cheered, causing an eruption of cheering and yelling from the mob. She then turned around, grabbed the bat she had put down, and smashed the adoption centre computer to pieces. “Can’t let them adopt my favourite little Princess…” She grinned.

“What… what is this?” I asked, looking out at the massive crowd on the other side of the doorway.

“These…” Claire said, pointing out to the whole mob, “Are your supporters.”

“This many? Wow… I’m… honoured… but this won’t solve anything. I still attacked Chris.”

“And rightfully so. LIBRA looked through his computer after the incident and… yeah… HQ is in chaos right now.”

“But you can’t just rescue me and run away. The police…”

“Can’t stop this many.” She replied, grinning at me.

“Just how many… are there…?”

Malcolm walked over and grabbed me, lifting me up and placing me on his shoulders like I was a little kid. And with my legs wrapped around his head, I looked out from this high lookout spot over the crowd… which went a lot further than the adoption centre waiting room.

Internally I was screaming as I was carried out into the crowd, on Mal’s shoulders, with everyone cheering at me and chanting.

“How many are there?” I asked him again, now that we were out on the street and I could get a proper look at the enormous crowd that had gathered for me. It was hard getting my voice down to him, even despite me being on his shoulders, as the uproar from the crowd upon seeing me was deafening.

“This goes on for a dozen or so streets… and more are joining by the minute.” He yelled up at me.

“Wait… what?”

“There are hundreds of thousands here for you, Liv. Littles AND Amazons.”

“H… how? In such a short amount of time? What…?”

Claire held on close to Malcolm’s hand, so that we didn’t get separated in the crowd.

“The country saw what happened. They also heard it. Chris… he didn’t realise your microphone was turned on before you walked out. We all heard everything. His plan, what he did to Charlie…” Claire explained.

“Then when you got forcibly adopted by the Deputy PM… the rioting began.”

“But… how did this all happen so quickly?”

“People have been waiting for an excuse to riot. There have been loads of protests in the last six months. But this took it too far, so people started rioting. The police are trying to handle it back at the hall where you held the event, but Claire took charge of a small splinter of people and brought them here to rescue you.” Malcolm said, smiling at Claire.

“I have people in positions throughout the government. So I found out which adoption centre they were taking you to. We marched here as quickly as possible.” Claire continued.

“Wait… this is a ‘small’ splinter of the people?” I asked.

“You’ve seen nothing yet, Liv. Change is coming. Whether they like it or not.” She grinned.

I wasn’t sure what was going on, or what the results of any of this would be… but… after nearly being adopted, then being threatened by Rachel and nearly dying… I was in no clear state of mind right now. I wasn’t exactly thinking straight as we marched back in the direction of the hall where I was originally taken.

This was probably a bad idea. Normally I’d try to be a bit more diplomatic. Or at least since I got elected I had adopted that stance. To be truthful… the old me… pre-Charlie me… she would have been the one arranging the protests. Even if it was in secret. But still…. Maybe I had changed a bit too much to please voters? Maybe the adrenaline coursing through me was actually good?

I guess I wouldn’t know until after everything dies down.

“So what’s the plan?” I asked Malcolm as he carried me at the head of the protest, heading back towards the rest of the people who were protesting at the hall.

“I… have no idea. I was kinda hoping you would figure something out, after all… they came here to save you. You are the one who started all this.”

“I… I should say something to them when we get there.”

“Not long now, so think about what you wanna say. This is the change we’ve been wanting to see. Let’s make the government hear us.”

‘Government… hear us…’

I knew what I wanted to say… what I wanted to do. So I held on tightly as we wandered down the streets, blocking traffic, causing a scene… everything we tried so hard to avoid whilst we ran our little operation all that time ago.

There were so many people. And in the background, police sirens indicated the presence of the officers who were trying to keep everything handled. This… this ocean of people spanned every road in every direction within view. And I had been told there were more of us too, this went on for miles apparently, all here to protest my arrest… and the government.

My government. The one I was elected to represent.

I guess this could be considered my resignation letter from the party…

“You okay, Liv?” Claire me asked as Malcolm put me down next to the hall where I had just been taken from.

“Yeah… I… umm… I don’t know…”

“Go in there. The press are still in there, they kinda got trapped when our protest surrounded them, preventing the police from getting anywhere near. They took Chris away already, but everyone else got stuck inside. You should say something to them… to all of us… to everyone.”

I think I knew what I wanted to say. I think. Maybe. Fucking hell, I really hope I do. But despite wanting to tear down this corrupt, shitty world… I had a higher priority on my list right now.

“I noticed a lot of littles in the crowd. They’re… they’re okay, right? Not getting trampled on or…” I asked, before Claire interrupted me.

“Or hypnotised? The police tried that tactic. The Amazons prevented them, and smashed up their equipment before anyone could be affected.” Claire smiled, reassuring me.

“Thank fuck. But will they try again?”

“We’ll stop them. Don’t worry about the crowd, they understand the risks. They wouldn’t be protesting if they didn’t. You get in there, up on that stage, and do what you do best.” Malcolm grinned at me.

“...Okay. I’ve got this. I’ve got this. I’ve… Malcolm… I’ve not got this…” I started panicking as the reality of what was actually going on hit me like a freight train.

Claire bent down to my height and pulled me in close for a hug, squeezing the stuffing out of me and stroking my hair… like Charlie does… or used to do

“It’s going to be okay. I know it’s scary. But you got this. I’ve trusted you since the day we met, hun. And I’ll always have your back. I knew you’d accomplish great things when I first saw you, and this is your moment. All the other amazing achievements you’ve managed are just stepping stones towards this. This is the change we’ve been waiting for…”

“So no pressure…” I laughed, in-between tears.

“No pressure at all…” She grinned. “But if anyone can manage this, you can. And if Charlie were here right now, she’d be the one doing this same speech.”

“You do sound a lil like her…” I giggled.

“Good. She’s a good one, and you’ll be back with her in no time. But for now, you need to speak to these people… to the country. Most of the country has your back, they’ve just been too scared to stand up. So make them stand up. Make them listen. Go be your amazing self and show them why we fight.”

“I… Okay. Thanks, Claire. You’re gonna be an amazing Mum.”

She pulled me in closer and squeezed me once more, before letting me go, spinning me around and smacking my padded butt, making me scoot forward quickly.

And so I braced myself for what awaited me in the hall in front of me… and what I had to do.

I was going to do this.

This was the moment of change.

I'm really curious what was planned by Chris, the government, the vice minister said that it was all planned.

I'm satisfied and won't be coming to England.

I'm really looking forward to the next chapter

I was feeling pretty good about where this was headed, like the crowd would want Liv for PM, but your devil emoji has me worried… 🤨

I had "Do you hear the people sing" from Les Miserables in my head when Liv was rescued.

So yeah what was Chris doing exactly? Was he always a traitor or did something turn him? I feel like I'm missing something.

Chapter 32: Change

Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess

“Good evening, everyone.” I began, after taking my stand at the podium I originally intended to speak at earlier, before all this chaos ensued.

The reporters looked a little nervous, which I couldn’t blame them for, as they weren’t exactly here by choice. They had gotten trapped earlier when the protest blocked them in, keeping them inside. I think a few may have gotten out, as it looked like the crowd was a little smaller now, but most were still here, even the camera crews at the back.

“MRS CLARKE?” One reporter shouted. “WHEN CAN WE LEAVE?”

I held my hand up as I nervously balanced on the stepstool that had been placed out for me earlier this evening. The restless crowd settled a little as they waited for instructions.

“I assure you, I don’t want to keep you here much longer.” I replied.

“SO YOU TRAPPED US?”

“No, no… I assure you, I had no knowledge of what was going to happen this evening. I apologise on my behalf for what happened to you, but I assure you, once I’m done, I will make sure you are allowed to freely leave. This evening has been utter chaos, and apparently it had been a big set up by people I thought I could trust.”

“Is this why you attacked Mr Slater?” One reporter asked. “You mentioned something about hypnosis…”

Looking directly into the large camera I knew was streaming this live to the nation, I prepared myself, tried to settle my nerves, and took a deep breath.

“I find myself here, reaching out to every little, every Amazon, every betweener… to please listen to me right now. For decades now, our country has benefited from the disgusting treatment of littles. From adoptions… to manufacturing baby equipment for those adopted littles, from the medicalisation of ‘customising’ littles to match Amazons’ preferences… to the behind the scenes corruption within our own government to profit off this… this… disgusting behaviour.” You could probably hear the disgust in my voice, something that in parliament I would try to hide, but now… I didn’t care.

The Amazon reporters around the room looked at each other, clueless.

“But no more. My party… my government… made promises to make our country safer and more fair for littles. It’s why I stood for them. It’s why we won. But thanks to the corruption from the top, thanks to the corrupt head of LIBRA, Chris Slater… My party backtracked on that pledge and decided to make the country worse for littles.”

The reporters threw up their hands, but now was not the time for questions. I knew I’d be thrown off course if I stopped now, so I continued on, ignoring the large arms trying to signal me.

“They fully intended to use us to win the election, to pretend to fight for us… then once they had their power… they fully intended to strip ours away from us. And when we started fighting back, as you no doubt saw in the Commons… they came for us… to silence us.”

The hands started dropping, one by one, until a quarter of them had lowered.

“They came for me. They came for MY family. They tried their best to regress me, to remove my adult status. You saw that tonight by my own deputy Prime Minister. But… I don’t know how long ago it was… but they got to me by another route… my wife.”

More hands started dropping, now only half remained.

“LIBRA… or at least Chris Slater… has had the technology to hypnotise and brainwash Amazons, in the same way you all do to littles like me. And he’s had it for a while now too. I knew of its existence years ago, and trusted Mr Slater to do the right thing and only use it as a last resort if things got worse. And as things got better for us, with adoptions dropping drastically and protests breaking out around the country… I figured we’d never have to use that technology.”

I knew what they all wanted to hear, so I answered them.

“Yes, it’s real. Yes, it will work on any of you. Yes, it can reduce you to a whimpering infant, like you all do to us littles. I know because I’ve seen it. Twice.”

The faces on the Amazon reporters dropped, but the cameraman never stopped filming, so I continued.

“First time was with someone who tried to adopt me. Mr Slater took her away and regressed her. She learned her lesson, was re-raised properly, and now actually has a heart… the other time… was my wife.”

Gasps filled the room.

“My wife… she is currently laying in a coma after the brainwashing was removed from her. At least we hope it was.”

“What did it do to her? Is she okay?” One reporter interrupted.

“She… well they… I mean Chris…” It was getting hard to talk about it, but I fought through it, with help from Charlie being in my thoughts. “Chris hypnotised her to become the ‘stereotypical Amazon’. To increase her maternal instinct… to push her drive to be an Amazon mother… to its max. Charlotte then treated me like any other adopted and regressed little, even forcing that new brainwashing technique on me, the ‘brute force’ one that claimed the mind of one of my closest friends.”

“How do you know it wasn’t just her doing what she wanted to do all along?” One reporter dared to ask, with the smuggest grin on his face as he awaited a reply.

“Because my wife, unlike you, has a heart. She has a soul. She isn’t a corrupt little shit who preys on the smallest and weakest of our society to get her kicks off.”

Okay… maybe I was a bit petty with my answer, but honestly? I was done with the ‘good girl’ routine I had perfected to get Amazon voters to vote for me. Fuck the haters, if they won’t change, I’ll make them, kicking and screaming if needed.

The reporter instantly shut up and looked embarrassed.

“Seriously, I’m done playing nice now. You all suck. The country is finally waking up to the atrocities your kind has forced on us littles and betweeners. The injustice. The cruelty. You’re all monsters, any of you who forced us to play baby for us just because you can’t have your own. You know what? If you spent just half of what you spend on investing in baby products for littles, you’d have fixed the whole infertility issue in your kind years ago. It’s only through greed and cruelty that you haven’t. So fuck you all.”

All the reporter's hands had dropped at this point, all looking ashamed as they continued recording on their phones and cameras.

“So that’s where we are now. We are done with this shit. We are done with your adoptions. We are done with your manipulations and lies and cruelty. Littles, Betweeners AND Amazons… we’re all done. The majority of the population stand with us, it’s the corrupt few in charge of our media and organisations and government, as well as good ol’ fashioned societal pressure that hold us back from being a fair and just society. So… I’m going to take that very large, very vocal group of people outside, and we’re going to march up to Parliament. And if needed, we will tear that fucking building down, brick by brick, and rebuild it into something much more fair… much more suitable… for a society as advanced as ours.”

I would have dropped the mic at this point, but all the microphones were attached to the podium, which towered over me when I was at floor height. So I stepped off the little stool and kicked it backwards as I walked off stage. And as I did… All I could hear was silence from the crowd.

“That. Was. Perfect.” Claire said as she picked me up and placed me on Malcolm’s shoulders again once I had walked outside, leaving the door open for all the reporters to leave once we had left.

“Yeah kiddo, everyone was watching on their phone and… it seems like you’ve got a plan. To Parliament then?” Malcolm asked.

“To Parliament.” I smiled down at him.

And as Malcolm, Claire and I led our enormous protest away from the hall where the reporters were still holding up in, I couldn’t help but think about Charlie… and I hoped that I wasn’t doing the wrong thing. I really hoped she was proud of me right now.

Thousands.

Thousands of people, tens of thousands, maybe even hundreds of thousands… I honestly don’t know how far this protest went on. If you looked back it just went on and on and on… it went off onto every side street… it was everywhere.

It truly felt like we had the country on our side right now. People had come out from their homes and joined the protest along the way, people had come from all over the city just to join us march to Parliament.

All except… the police, who, thanks to my little speech earlier, had prepared themselves on the road leading to Parliament. Creating a blockade with a worryingly large amount of officers and barricades… this made me worry a little, as no doubt this would end in violence. If they had any reason to mishandle and mistreat littles… these corrupt guards of politicians and powerful people would take it. And if they get to put some Amazons in their place and remind them of the fucked up status quo… that would probably be a bonus to them.

I whispered down to Malcolm to call for a halt to the protest, just to stop and see what the police would do. He nodded in agreement and whistled loudly, causing the whole protest line to stop in an instant.

There was an uneasy standoff between the protest and the police… and aside from a few mumblings in the crowd, there was complete silence.

That was until one of the officers grabbed their megaphone.

“PLEASE DISPERSE NOW. GO BACK TO YOUR HOMES.” They began ordering. But it didn’t seem to sit well with the crowd behind me, who looked ready for a fight. “DISPERSE NOW OR ELSE WE’LL…” The officer stopped as another whispered in his ear. “LIV CLARKE. THE PRIME MINISTER WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO YOU.”

“THEN HE CAN CALL ME!” I yelled back. But with the large area, the huge crowd, and my tiny little voice… I couldn’t project it as well as the megaphone being used on the opposite side.

Thankfully, one of my allies handed Claire a megaphone and I… honestly, I was shocked at the resourcefulness of this protest. They were ready for this… as if they had been waiting for it for a long time…

“THEN HE CAN CALL ME!” I repeated, this time my voice being amplified by the megaphone being held in front of my mouth by Claire.

My phone started ringing, just as the awkward silence crept back in during the standoff. Recognising the number, I answered it, bracing myself for something.

Honestly, part of me thought that maybe the Prime Minister would stoop so low as to try using subliminal hypnosis through the call, to try and regress me. But I quickly realised that would be a catastrophic thing for him if he did it, I’d be seen as a martyr and the country would be filled with rioting. If it already hasn’t.

“Mrs Clarke.” He made sure to speak first, and very sternly.

“What the fuck do you want?” I replied.

Again, why should I be nice to the arseholes trying to wipe my mind? All niceties and decorum went out the window the moment these fuckers went for Charlie.

Also… it seems like my swearing has returned to normal. That is something Charlie will not be happy about. So don’t tell her.

“I urge you to stand down and tell your… mob… to leave.” The Prime Minister replied.

“Or else?” God, I sounded so cocky right now. I really hope it doesn’t come back to bite me in the arse.

“Or else I will be forced to take further action.”

“Bring it. We won’t be dissuaded. Things need to change, and clearly you’re opposed to that. I thought you were better, clearly you’re just another corrupt Amazon with no soul.”

“Don’t you dare talk to me like that, little girl…”

“Oh piss off.” I replied, shutting him up instantly. “I’ve let you walk all over me since we got elected, and it’s time you paid the price for your backstabbing ways. We will make things change, whether you like it or not.”

He instantly hung up on me, causing the silence to amplify.

“Well… he wasn’t open to talking about this…” I said to Malcolm and Claire, awkwardly.

“Fuck him then.” Mal replied. “We continue. So I guess the question is… do we go around these cops, or through them?”

As much as I would have liked to have said through… and as much as I knew going around them made more sense… our decision was quickly taken away from us as the police started mobilising for a counter offence…

“Umm… What do we do?” I asked Claire, who looked like she was panicking.

“They’re gunning for you, Liv.” Malcolm said, lifting me off his shoulders and placing me on the floor. “Let the protest handle this, you need to run… RUN LIV, RUN!”

Nice speech really but this Run Liv Run at the end really?

There are thousands of people Liv could be protecting.

That was chapter 32 I predict something will happen before it gets better.

But great chapter in itself really excellent.

I'm really curious about the whole background especially with Chris.

Chapter 33: Protest

Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess

I sprinted as fast I could through the chaos.

No matter where I turned, there was fighting surrounding me. Every street I went down was packed full of people… and police.

Protesters had turned up in large numbers, but doing so had caused the police to retaliate in kind, bringing in everyone they had… and every form of suppression they could use.

It was like a war zone right now… and I wondered just how far across the city… or even country… this went. I had covered a few streets, and I had seen a lot of people joining our protest on the march over to parliament… but I had a feeling it was a lot bigger than I had first imagined.

Ducking and weaving through the scuffles, watching littles being carried off by police officers for them only to be retrieved by Amazons trying to rescue them… I made sure not to be noticed by any of the officers, because despite me not technically starting these protests… they probably saw me as the number one target to take down at all costs, so I ran for my life, trying my best to focus on coming up with a safe location to run to.

The only place that I could think of… the only place that was nearby…

…Was my old shop.

Cars were being smashed, fires were being started, everything was going to shit… so I kept running, street after street, trying my best to make it to somewhere I knew was safe and I could hide out. At least somewhere I knew I could call from safely and get some help from my friends.

‘My friends… Wait… did any more of them join in?’ I wondered as I dodged a riot shield being swung mere inches from my face.

It helped that I was so small, I could dash through the chaos without being seen, which meant I was safe, provided I could make it back to the shop.

Malcolm kept running the business from the shop, so it was still owned by the two of us. Which meant… my old workshop was the perfect place to barricade myself in and call for help.

“Just… another… street…” My unfit physique was causing me to slow down as I struggled to catch my breath. And as I turned onto the corner, dashing between an Amazon protester’s legs, I stumbled to my knees and breathed in deeply, trying to breathe.

I didn’t know if I had time to catch my breath like this or not, but it seems like my body is refusing to move unless I get some breath back, so I stayed on my hands and knees, breathing heavily, hoping I wouldn’t be stepped on or noticed down here whilst the fighting was going on around us.

Taking one last deep breath, I looked up… to see a police officer looking at me from across the street.

He looked new… nervous even… but he was still an Amazon, and I was pretty sure he had recognised me. So I pushed past the pain and the breathlessness, climbed to my feet and bolted down the street towards my shop. I couldn’t afford to turn and see if he was following. If I did that, I could potentially trip or bump into something, and it would definitely slow me down even if I didn’t. So I ran as if my life depended on it… which honestly… it did.

Running up to the door, I grabbed the handle and twisted, hoping to the Goddesses that it was open… and as if my prayers had been answered, it turned and the door opened, causing me to fall into the shop, rolling onto the carpet.

Climbing back to my feet as quickly as possible, I pushed the door closed and turned the lock, preventing anyone from getting in. Breathing a sigh of relief, I turned and looked back at my shop… I hadn’t been in here in a while, I’ve been so busy at work that I haven’t even checked in on Malcolm to see how he’s doing with the store on his own. I had asked him a few times, but he just says it's going okay. And as I looked out at all the clothing on display… yeah, it wasn’t in a state and it wasn’t on fire, so I’d say Mal had it handled so far.

My relief was short-lived, as I heard a bang on the door which caused me to turn around… to see the police officer that had been chasing me standing there… his face looking through the glass window on the door… staring at me in the eyes.

I couldn’t move. I completely froze, my heart beating like a hummingbird’s, watching as this officer tried to open the door. Then, failing that, he tried to slam against it as I backed away slowly towards the workshop. Failing that… he pulled out his baton and covered his face with his free arm and swung for the glass… causing it to shatter. Using this opportunity, I ran towards the workshop whilst he reached in and unlocked the door, letting himself into the shop as he hunted me down.

I was so close… Just need… to get… to…

I was mere inches from the door to the workshop… when I felt a large hand grab my arm and pull me back.

“You little shit… come here… you’re the one we’re after…” He growled, pulling me up into the air by my wrist, letting me dangle from his grip… making my arm ache.

“FUCK OFF, LET ME GO!” I screamed, looking around to my attacker, trying to pull away with all my strength… not that it was anywhere close to his, and was doing absolutely nothing for me right now.

“Not a chance, little one, you’re going to get me promoted. Or at least recognised.” He grinned. “You’ve been pretending to be an adult in Parliament for too long. I can’t wait to see you put back in your place, shitting in your nappies.”

“GET THE FUCK OFF ME!” I screamed again, before spitting at him.

“I am placing you under…”

Before he could finish his sentence, something large came from behind and struck the back of his head, causing him to fall flat on his face on the carpeted floor.

As he released his grip on me due to falling unconscious, I fell backwards onto the floor, on my padded arse. At least that cushioned the fall a bit. But realising my situation, I didn’t hesitate at all to rush around and hide behind the counter.

“I… ugh… oops… didn’t mean to hit him that hard…” I heard coming from the other side of the shop counter.

Looking down, I could see the officer was currently out cold, but still breathing, and I looked up to see just who my saviour was.

And what I saw… I was not expecting.

“Hi… Olivia…” The shy brunette beauty with freckles adorning her face said, blushing and looking down at the floor.

I looked up at her as she walked over, carefully stepping over the Amazon officer’s body, before stopping right in front of me and kneeling down.

“I… umm… if you’re here to kidnap me and adopt me… I’m just gonna say…” I was ready to try and bullshit my way out of this, but she quickly cut me off.

“Oh no! No no no no no no! Nooooo! That’s not it! I promise! Pinky promise!”

“Pinky promise…? Wait… just who are you then?”

She didn’t look familiar. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this woman in my life. But then she looks like most Amazons when she’s towering over me like this, even with her kneeling down. She was gorgeous, I’ll give her that, but I think I would have remembered someone this cute. Looking around my age, she wore a purple baggy jumper with sleeves that were way too big, so big that she had cut holes in them for her thumbs so she could wear them like gloves, along with baggy jeans that went all the way down to the floor, covering the majority of her shoes… She looked like her fashion taste hadn’t changed since the 90s. It was kind of adorable really. Large round glasses balanced on the end of her nose, giving her that nerdy bookworm aesthetic that I loved on Charlie so much.

And looking down at the floor… I saw the large mannequin that she had thrown at this officer’s head, laying next to the unconscious man.

“Hi… I’m Vanessa. Though people call me Nessa.” The Amazon woman smiled at me.

“Hi… I… umm… thanks?” I replied, my heart still racing.

“Oh you’re welcome! Sorry I couldn’t help sooner, I… I’ve been a bit nervous about introducing myself.”

“Introducing… wait… what?”

“Oh… umm… sorry, yeah that seems a bit… stalkery… umm…”

“Have you… have you been following me?” I asked.

She went quiet for a bit, looking really damn guilty, before raising her head and looking at me in the eyes.

“...Sort of? I…”

“Who are you, Vanessa? And why have you been following me? And more importantly… why did you just assault someone to save me?”

“Because you…” She stuttered, trying to get past her anxiety.

Part of me felt sympathetic, I knew that feeling well, but right now a strange Amazon was cornering me against the workshop door, and apparently she had been following me. For how long, I have no idea… but I was too focused on trying to find a way to run away from her to think about asking.

“Tell me!” I raised my voice at her.

“Because you mean a lot to Charlie!” She yelled back, sounding scared.

“...Okay? And why do you care?”

“B… b… because… she means a lot to me…”

“She does? How? Who are you exactly?”

“I… umm… I… it’s hard to explain…”

“Tell me now, otherwise I’ll scream for help…”

I knew that no one would be able to hear me, the rioting outside would cover up any little’s noises, no matter how much they screamed. But I was betting on the fact she probably wasn’t thinking about that.

“I… because of this!”

She grabbed the bottom of her jumper with one hand, and the top of her jeans with the other, and separated the two from each other, revealing…

“A nappy? But… what? But why? You’re an Ama… oh.” My jaw dropped.

That’s when it hit me.

Amazons don’t usually wear them. They’d only wear them if they were incontinent or… they’re like me. Charlie and Madison’s ‘adult baby’. This is her. This is the woman Madison scared off. The woman Charlie found her maternal side with.

“You’re… the adult baby… aren’t you?”

“She told you about me?” Her face lit up when she said this, sitting down on the floor and crossing her legs so she was at the same height as me once I had stood up to match her.

“Yeah. Told me Madison was horrible to you and scared you off. And that she felt terrible for you and how things ended…”

“Yeah… that’s me. I really liked Charlie. Oh and don’t worry, I don’t mean in the same way you do. She was a perfect Mummy though, so kind and loving and generous. But that’s all it was! I’m not here to threaten your marriage or anything!” She laughed, very awkwardly.

“So why are you here?”

“I… wanted to get back in touch with Charlie for a while. Especially after she released her book about you two. I may have passed this store a few times since, trying to work up the courage to come in and introduce myself and everything… but I… I have anxiety. Then when you were on the news, and you mentioned Charlie being attacked and stuff… I wanted to help her… help the both of you. She was so wonderful to me, and if I could repay her back by helping you… so yeah, I rushed over to your store.”

“Why did you come here? How did you know I was going to come here?”

“I… I was in the crowd earlier. I believe in the same things you and Charlie do. I’ve attended a few protests, at least until my anxiety got the better of me and I had to leave early. This big one was too important though, so I pushed my fear down, and marched with you from the hall. I kept my distance, still too nervous to talk to you, because I mean what am I gonna say? Especially in front of tens of thousands of people? That I’m an Amazon who likes to be babied and wear baby clothes and nappies? It’s not just something you bring up in casual conversation. But now it’s just us two… I… I feel a lot more confident. That’s why I could tell… and show you. Sorry, I just realised now that showing you the n… n… nappy… that it was weird and wouldn’t have explained anything. Sorry. I’m… yeah… I’m not very good with people.”

“Charlie has told me a lot about you. Never told me your name though. It’s nice to finally meet you.” I smiled at her, feeling that I could genuinely trust her. I mean what Amazon is going to wear nappies just to kidnap and adopt me? She… she was just as Charlie described her, especially the anxious part.

“It’s nice to meet you too!” Her face lit up again. “I… she told you a lot about me?”

“Yeah, she clearly feels a lot of regret regarding how things went. And then Madison…”

“I heard what she did to you at your wedding. I’m glad she got what she deserved.”

“How do you know…?” I asked.

“That she was the one you were talking about before at the hall?”

“Yeah…” I looked at her suspiciously.

“Because… she reached out to me.”

“She WHAT?”

“Yeah, surprised me too. But she wanted to make amends for how she treated me. Told me what she had been through. And you know what? I genuinely believe she has changed. Obviously I still don’t want her in my life, but it was nice… I guess it was closure… sort of?”

“I was hesitant to believe it at first, but apparently she was the one who alerted my friends that Charlie was… off.”

“Is Charlie okay now? I heard you talk about her in your speech…”

“She’s in a coma, but she should be fine when she wakes up. If she ever does…”

“Can… Can I see her?”

Honestly… it was like looking at a sad puppy. There was no way I could turn down her request, not with the look she was giving me right now.

That’s when I had an idea.

“I… look, I’ve still got work to do here. And I’m trusting you because Charlie trusts you. But I need someone to watch over her. I can’t guarantee she’ll be safe whilst I’m leading this protest, and I need someone to guard her. I trust the people taking care of her right now, but I have a feeling they’re going to be overwhelmed with littles being brought in, so Charlie needs someone dedicated to watching her. Think you can do that?”

“I umm…” She looked nervous again.

“At least go be with her, make sure she’s okay, and tell the Doctor there to watch out for retaliation?”

“I think I can do that!” She said, sounding more optimistic now.

“Thanks. Here, let me give you my number, you can contact me if anything happens with Charlie.”

Nessa pulled out her phone and I quickly put my contact details onto it, before handing it back to her.

“I can do that… thanks… Thanks for trusting me. I won’t fail you.”

“Maybe if all of this works out… we could have a playdate?” I laughed as a figure suddenly appeared in the doorway.

“I’d like dat!” Nessa replied.

“LIV?” The figure in the doorway shouted.

“Yeah?” I replied, as soon as I saw who it was. “Claire? You found me!”

“Are… are you… okay?” Claire replied, slowly walking into the shop, nodding towards Nessa suspiciously. I think she was ready to attack the poor girl, so I quickly replied so she didn’t throw a right hook in Nessa’s direction.

“Oh yeah, don’t worry, this is Vanessa. She’s Charlie’s old… friend.”

“Is she?” Claire was still suspicious about the new Amazon woman sitting in front of me, and rightfully so.

“Seriously. It’s fine. She’s going to go to the hospital on the other side of town, aren’t you Nessa?”

“I think I know the one you’re talking about. The little’s recovery one, right?”

“Yeah, ask the receptionist if you can speak to Eve. I’ll make sure to send Eve a message to let you in. They’re probably locking down as we speak, with everything going on.”

“Liv, we need you at LIBRA.” Claire interrupted, sounding out of breath.

“LIBRA? Seriously? Why would I go there?” I replied in disgust.

“No one knew Chris’ true intentions or end goals, I assure you. We all genuinely want to improve things. But right now we’re leaderless. We need someone to take charge. We need… you.”

“But you’re much better at running and organising things, Claire. You’ve been Chris’ right hand woman this whole time.”

“I’m no leader, Liv. Please… come with me.”

I knew she wasn’t going to take no for an answer, so I exhaled heavily in frustration and looked back at Nessa.

“Fine. Nessa, are you going to be okay? I can trust you, right?” I asked the anxious Amazon woman.

As she nodded and smiled at me, I could feel how sincere she was about wanting to help. And if she was as close to Charlie as my wife had made out, then I think she’ll keep her safe, no matter what. I mean she knocked out a police officer to save me, and she barely knows me!

“Let’s go. It was nice meeting you, Vanessa.” Claire said as she reached over and grabbed me, picking me up and carrying me out of the store as I waved back to my newest acquaintance.

=======================================================

Oh look... someone new! Or not quite new... At least someone we haven't seen before! Not properly anyway! ^_^ This was one of my fave chapters to write.

Little in Love 2 only has a small handful of chapters left on my SubscribeStar, then I'll be posting my next Monstrum story on there. I'm still in the middle of writing that, but when I've finished it, I'll be starting one of two stories I've got planned. Either Witch in Training 2 (which will probably be the last littlefallenverse story, at least for a while)... or a secret independent story that isn't part of either of my universes. Maybe I'll ask what people want most, maybe I'll wait and see which I'm feeling more confident about writing, either way I'll keep you all updated when I've finished writing my current story!

If you haven't seen, I'm now up and running on Subscribestar! (Sorry for the reminder again, trying to get my subscribers back after the Patreon rubbish!)

Hoping to start the new SubscribeStar exclusive short stories with a trial run in January! if the first commission goes well, I'll see how many I can handle per month (thinking about 2 per month. These stories won't be posted here at all.)

========================================================

I hope everyone enjoys this chapter! Please leave likes and comments and all that fun stuff, I love reading them!

If you want to read the next 4 chapters, thanks to two weeks early access to my main story and also soon-to-be exclusive access to short stories (or even have a chance at commissioning one when I add the tier for them!), why don't you check out my SubscribeStar! The basic tier gets early access and exclusive access to short stories (when they're written), higher tiers will be limited but get a short story each month (1-2 per month in total, also not yet running this tier yet, will announce when I'm starting!).

Thank you to all my patrons for their support over the past couple of years! Seriously, your support meant the world to me, and I hope to be set up somewhere new soon.

New chapters of Little in Love 2 every Wednesday/Sunday!

Also just a quick note: I don't mind people saving this story for personal reading. But I'd appreciate it if people didn't post it elsewhere, even if you're just suggesting it to other people. If you want to show others, please send them a link to the first page of this post! Thanks!

That was a nice chapter.

I always hoped to see Charlie's adult baby.

And as for the upcoming stories, I'm really hoping for Witch in the Trining 2.

After all, we do want to see the revolution.

Chapter 34: LIBRA

Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess

Claire had grabbed a scarf from the shop on the way out, wrapping it over my head and covering half of my face to hide my identity. It was a genius idea, honestly, and it worked brilliantly as she carried me through the protests and riots filling the streets. No one recognised me as we made our way across the capital on foot.

We did have a few awkward glances, allies who were worried I had been adopted against my will as they just assumed an Amazon with a little was someone who had forced it on them, but a quick ‘I’m not adopted, don’t worry, she’s a friend’ managed to allay their worries, allowing us to continue unhindered.

We got to a point where the police had set up blockades, and from what I could see, there were some non-police Amazons behind them. They weren’t protesting or arguing or anything, so they were most likely on their side, ready to help when needed. But surprisingly, the numbers were very few. I guess the media likes to go very pro-Amazon, inflating the numbers of people who want to see little’s being regressed and adopted, and downplaying the numbers of supporters we have. And even now, I bet most of the Amazons who are against us are hiding at home, too scared to stand up for what they believe in, all the while littles and Amazons are risking their lives, standing up for us, trying to make this country better for everyone.

All this just confirmed to me that I was doing the right thing. That this wasn’t ‘too far’ as a lot of Amazons may put it. When maybe a hundred… two hundred Amazons at most rally behind the police, and there are tens… probably even hundreds of thousands of us… it puts it in perspective how the results of the election clearly showed how much support littles had in society, and that it was only due to the politicians and media and corrupt companies that we hadn’t improved as a society. And it's not like littles and Amazons can’t work in harmony, there are a few countries out there that manage it, and we’re not even one of the worst offenders. There are many, many worse off countries for littles. No, we were capable of change, and this… this was it. This was the change. And I swear to Charlie… I was determined to make sure she wakes up to a better world.

We made it to a small little laundrette on the north side of the city, a place I had never been before.

“Is… is this it?” I whispered up to Claire from behind the scarf.

Claire said nothing, only nodding at me, slipping into the laundrette quickly and quietly, rushing down the aisle of laundry machines, towards a door in the back.

The protests were a lot quieter this far north, they were mostly focused around Parliament, but they did go on for miles. You’d see the odd person walk past with a very hastily made placard signalling their support for little’s rights, but that was about it. No fighting, no police, no large groups here. Which made it easier to sneak into LIBRA’s headquarters without being recognised or noticed.

“Secret hideout in the middle of nowhere… gotta say that’s pretty cool. Like you’d see in a movie.” I commented, whispering to my friend.

“Just wait til you see our toys…” Claire grinned at me as we made our way through a narrow, dimly lit corridor.

“What, are you going to have a secret bookcase entrance too and everything?”

“Don’t be silly, Olivia. Of course we don’t.” She replied, rolling her eyes at me as she carried me further in.

Reaching a wall at the back of the corridor, there was… just nothing. Nothing at all. It looked like an office off to the side, but other than that… was just a stack of shelves.

Claire reached over and wrapped her hand around the shelf frame, clicking something.

“A bookcase… in a laundrette? That’d be too obvious!” She smiled at me as the wall opened slightly, revealing a light in the gap.

“SECRET DOOR? OH MY GOD!” I screamed, quickly catching myself and whispering the end of it before I called it out to everyone in a five mile radius.

Claire just looked down at me, rolling her eyes. “You’re so easily impressed.”

“Oh shush. Secret entrances are cool. Even if they’re not bookcases.” I replied, sticking my tongue out at her.

Which apparently earned me a tongue being stuck out back at me in response.

Claire carried me inside, the wall closing behind us. I was now in a place I had been dying to enter for a long time, as Chris had made sure I was never allowed entry. He always said it was due to me being a ‘prime target’. If I ever got adopted during the election, or after it, I could reveal the location as people know I have ties to LIBRA. Turns out it’s also because Chris was a massive selfish fuckwit who didn’t give two shits about fucking us over and ruining our lives.

Okay… maybe I didn’t let it all out when I was pummelling his face before, it seems there’s still a lot of pent up rage from what he did to Charlie.

That was for future Liv to worry about. Present Liv gets to take control of that fucker’s organisation and turn it against him… and the Amazons. I wondered what toys they had, what reach they had, what information… it was all going to finally be available to me, so I could make little’s lives better.

But… I had no desire to keep control of it. To me, this organisation was tainted by Chris, and I would happily burn it to the ground. But when I do that, I will make something from the ashes, using the people I can trust who work here, to work for the betterment of littles. For now, I’ll reluctantly use it, see if the people here are really as trustworthy and empathetic as Claire makes them out to be, and help them rally together to assist those out there risking their lives protesting.

“So be on your best behaviour, Liv…” Claire said as she carried me through the cramped, dark corridor leading to a bright light at the other end.

“Oh come on… you know me.”

“I know, I just have to remind you. Because I trust these people.”

“Like you trusted Chris?”

“Touché…” She replied, sighing. “Look, Chris took us all by surprise. But this lot… These are the ones who volunteered. They don’t get any financial gain or power from helping littles, unlike that backstabbing fuck.”

“How many are Amazons?”

“About a third of them actually.”

“Wow… I was expecting less.”

“Yeah, we are all here wanting to make the country a better place for littles. So they’ll listen to you, they know what you’re fighting for.”

“Fine. I’ll trust them because you do. But if any…”

“Oh if we have any others like Chris, I’ll be the first to kick them out.” She grinned at me.

“Good. Umm… Claire?”

“Yes, sweetie?”

“Isn’t it a little… quiet?”

“Huh? What do you mean?”

“I would have thought the hub for the rebellion would be… I dunno… bustling? Chaotic? Especially with so many protests going on right now? And with their leader gone…”

“You’re right… stay close.” Claire said, tightening her grip on me.

“Not like I can go anywhere… you’re still carrying me…” I muttered to myself as she got closer to the opening at the end of the corridor.

“CLAIRE! THANK FUCK!” A voice said from the other side of the room, followed by the shuffling of many pairs of feet towards us.

I looked around to see about eight littles and three Amazons all rushing over to us.

“Oh my… is that…?” Another, much deeper, voice said from the tiny crowd.

“Everyone… This is Liv. Liv… this is… wait… is this it?” Claire said as she placed me on the ground on my feet and looked out at everyone.

A small blonde-haired little walked forward, huge circular-rimmed glasses covering like a third of her face, looking up at my Amazon friend.

“We lost a third, mostly Amazons, when… umm… when Chris was… yeah…” The little started explaining.

“So a third were still loyal to him? Figures. What about the other third?” Claire asked.

“They’re out in the protests, taking part, collecting intel.”

“So we’re down a third… and half of what we have left are out in the field. Great. So what are you doing here?”

“Umm… nothing… at least right now. We take the intel the ones in the field give us, but then we don’t know what to do! We have no instructions, as we don’t know whether to carry on with Chris’ instructions or not.”

“Well I have help in that regard…” Claire said as she pushed me forward gently.

I waved awkwardly, blushing at the crowd who all looked at me with a mix of wonder and bewilderment.

“I mean… Great… but… umm… she knows nothing.” The blonde little said, clearly unimpressed by my arrival.

So I stepped forward. “Then get me up to date and I can help. This isn’t the first time I’ve organised people. I ran my own thing at my shop, saving littles.” I replied.

“We know, and we appreciate what you did. You even saved some of the people in LIBRA, they joined because of what you did. But… this isn’t just saving one little from an Amazon…”

“And she’s capable of a lot, trust me.” Claire said, winking down at me. “She’s done a lot more than you will ever know. Saved a lot more people than you will ever know…”

“Shh…” I warned her. I told very light details to my friends, but I hadn’t told anyone else anything about my sisters or the other places I’ve visited.

“Fine. Let me show you around then…” The blonde little said, sighing and signalling to us to follow her.

Exposed brickwork, tunnels leading off to who-knows-where, cables running all over the place with multiple computer stations, all with multiple monitors displaying real-time data… this is exactly how I pictured it. Though I must admit, after Chris turned out to be a bit of an evil genius, my image of this place had maaaybe turned into that of a supervillain's secret evil lair. But I saw no volcanoes or pools full of sharks, so I was slightly disappointed.

“This is the basic command centre…” The little with glasses showed me through to the main room whilst the other LIBRA members hung back with Claire, telling her everything that was going on and asking her a million questions about Chris.

“Sorry… I didn’t even get your name…” I spoke up, not wanting to appear rude.

“Oh, yeah… sorry… It’s Dorothy. Though everyone calls me Dotty. I’m sort of the… umm… I’m like fifth down the line in the chain of command?”

“So who are the top four?”

“Chris… was top, obviously. Then Claire and another Amazon. Then a couple of littles.”

“What happened to them?”

“The Amazon turned out to be close to Chris and ran for it the moment Chris’ deception came to light. One of the littles has gone to ground, in fear of the worst. I don’t blame them, this… this is scary.”

“And the other?”

“He’s out in the protests right now, leading those in the field. So I’ve been trying to keep who is left here together. Thank god Claire is back, I don’t like all this responsibility. At least not during a crisis like this!”

“I understand. Well it’s nice to meet you, Dotty.”

“It’s nice to meet you too. I’ve been… I’ve been a big fan of yours. Even before the MP thing.” She blushed.

“Oh? You have?”

“You saved my boyfriend.”

“I did?”

“Matthew. Matthew…”

“Oh I remember him! Is he okay?”

“He was… for a while…”

“Oh hun, I’m sorry. Did he…?”

“It’s okay, he’s in recovery at your Doctor friend’s hospital after he got adopted again. We managed to get him back again, but the regression hypnosis they used was bad, though not quite as bad as the stuff they used on your little friend. He’s getting better though. I hope to go see him again once all this is over.”

“I’m sure he’ll be fine, Eve is the best. Now… this is the command centre then?” I asked her.

“Yes! Sorry! This is where our analysts receive and process our data, where we surveil targets and events, and run the organisation.” Dotty explained.

“So you’ve got eyes everywhere?”

“Pretty much.”

“What about the protests?”

“We’ve got eyes everywhere. Both digitally and on the ground.”

“How’s it going out there now?”

“From what we’ve seen… police are really struggling to hold back the number of people protesting. The turnout is… unexpected to say the least. We knew there was unrest in the population, with lots of little protests, but we never guessed that this many people would be supportive of little’s rights… and of you.”

“Guess it was just a powder keg waiting for that little spark…”

“That’s an understatement. This isn’t just in the capital, Liv…”

“Wait, is this happening across the country?”

“Oh yes, hence why they can’t get the police numbers to hold everyone back. There’s even talk of the military being called in.”

“The military… oh god… that’s not good.”

“But we have sources there too, and it seems like the civilian population aren’t the only ones fighting back.”

“You mean…?”

“Armed forces are disobeying orders on a grand scale. This… this is something we never could have predicted.”

“Holy fucking…”

“And that’s not all…”

“What? What else is there?”

“Thankfully rioting is at a minimum. There are a small number of incidents of people using these protests to destroy and steal property, but both the police and the protesters are preventing them from getting away with it. It’s a very… strange situation we’re in right now, and with no leader… we have no idea what to do.”

I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. This was a lot bigger than I had ever expected, and something I never thought I’d see in my life. And now it was all on me to lead this organisation so we can help those out on the streets fight for the rights of all littles. I have no idea where this is going to go, or what outcome we can hope for from this. It could be positive for littles… or it could spell the end for little’s rights completely. But this time… this time we weren’t going to sit around and wait to have our minds wiped and our nappies changed. This time we were going to fight, even if it ended up with all of us ending up in cribs.

Though this time… we’re not alone.

“Right… I think I know what to do…”

Oh come on.

I was hoping that now it would come out why Chris acted the way he did.

I mean, interesting chapter

There will definitely be changes

If Liv ends up being Prime Minister I wouldn't be surprised.

But still, I'm much more interested in Chris' reasons.

Chapter 35: Unrest

Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess

“And so unrest consumes the country for a fifth day.” The news reporter began their segment. “There is a warrant out for Ms Clarke’s arrest, as she is believed to be the instigator of the protesting and rioting, after her adorable speech earlier this week.”

My team and I stood around the monitors, watching the latest propaganda news segment being broadcast.

“Does this…?” I began to ask Dotty, who was sitting at the computer, looking exhausted.

“Have subliminal hypnosis intended for littles? Yes. Thankfully we have our filter program which blocks out any hypnosis they are trying to push into our heads.” Dotty explained to me.

“Otherwise we’d be giving up the fight and giving in, shitting ourselves as we babble incessantly.”

“Exactly. Thankfully, most littles are either already out protesting and aren’t watching the news, mostly they avoid the news because they know it’s dangerous for them, or they were already adopted and regressed. The Amazons think this will work, but they really underestimate us. This will barely affect any littles.”

“Right, I need to…”

“You need to get some rest, Olivia.” Dotty said to me, trying to sound stern.

“I’m fine.”

“You’ve barely been sleeping since you took over. You’re doing a great job, and we’re helping as many protesters as possible, especially the littles. We’ve infiltrated the systems the Amazons are using, to keep one step ahead of them and try to disrupt them as best we can. But you need to sleep.”

“I’ll sleep once this is over.” I replied, sounding more like a brat than a leader.

“When do you think this will end? Today? Tomorrow? Or will this continue for weeks? Months? Years?” She said, raising her eyebrow at me.

“Don’t care. I’ll have a nap later.”

“You’ll have a nap, right now, missy…” I heard a voice coming from the entrance to LIBRA’s hidden operation.

“Oh hey Claire!” I responded. “How is Malcolm?”

“He’s helping organise things on the east side of the city. Eve has got the hospital locked down, only allowing littles through who have been regressed by the police or by the police’s Amazon allies.” Claire responded, walking over to me.

“And what about Charlie? Is she okay?”

“That friend of hers is looking after her. She says Charlie is fine for now, but still no sign of her waking up.”

I sighed, trying to rub the tiredness from my eyes, as I looked back to the monitors.

“This can’t go on forever. It’s bad out there. Maybe not warzone bad, but it’s still bad for everyone involved, especially littles.” I said, groggily.

“How does this end?” Dotty asked, looking away from her screen at me.

“Either we win, the people get what they want, and we enact real change for the betterment of everyone in this country… or we all lose and we end up shitting our nappies and sucking on our toes in nurseries across the country.”

“Can I go for option A?” She smiled awkwardly at me.

“We’ve heard no comment from the government, they don’t seem to be backing down, so we have to prepare ourselves for option B…”

“At least you’ll have a great Mummy…” Dotty laughed, awkwardly.

“As if they’d let me stay with my wife… they’ll declare her unfit to be a mother and put me with some little-hating arsehole who will wipe my mind.”

“Girls… let's move away from this topic, I can see you both visibly shaking.” Claire said, thankfully distracting us both. “The west and north sides of the city have got their assignments and everything is being handled.”

“And the south?” I asked.

“Not heard back from them yet. I was going to go check in on them…”

I quickly interrupted her. “Can I come?”

“Liv… we know it’s too dangerous for you to leave. Not now anyway, not with the police looking for you and every anti-little Amazon out there trying to be the one to adopt you.”

“But I’m getting a little stir crazy in here…”

I wasn’t exaggerating, being stuck in this place for nearly a week has made me miss fresh air and sunlight. It was barely hours after I arrived that the Chief of Police broadcast that they had a warrant out for my arrest. So after a very brief discussion in which everyone made sure to tell me just how dangerous it is for me to even show my face outside the windows, and how important I am to the cause right now… I was basically imprisoned within LIBRA HQ. At least they set me up a little room off to the side, which was basically a closet, just for me. It had a bed, some spare clothes and just enough room to change in. But aside from changing my clothes in the morning… I barely used the room. I had the occasional nap when I was forced to, but I was too focused on helping people out there from here at LIBRA HQ, trying my best to lead a team I was still getting to know.

It was a lot, and involved what were probably some of the most stressful and terrifying things I had ever had to do, but the thought of what would happen if we failed gave me the drive to continue. Problem was… without Charlie I was close to my breaking point, and if we didn’t have some kind of positive change soon… I was going to crash and burn. And then I wouldn’t be useful to anyone.

At least I knew Charlie was in good hands, Eve and Faith were working tirelessly on not only helping littles who had been affected by hypnosis during the protests, but also on helping Charlie. One of the first things that I did when I got here was ask about the hypnosis they had developed that would work on Amazons. Thankfully, Dotty was all too happy to give me the machine that had been used on Charlie to give to Faith, hoping that she could reverse engineer it to create a fix for my wife.

“Liv, go lay down. You’ve barely slept, you’ve barely eaten, and you’ve not had any time to yourself…” Claire repeated.

“But…”

Claire gave me her sternest ‘do it now, little lady’ face, making me quake in my boots.

“Right, can you handle things without her?” Claire asked Dotty.

“We’ll be fine. You go rest, Olivia.” Dotty replied.

“Come on then, Liv…” Claire said, lifting me up, plopping me on her hips and carrying me off to the little room that had been made up for me.

“Won’t you doing this… undermine my leadership or something?” I asked as Claire carried me on her hip through the back corridors.

“Hun… we’re all worried about you. They all love you, you’re doing a great job. If it wasn’t for you… the protests would have been quashed days ago. Your organisation and your leadership has ensured we’ve had the right resources and the right people in the places we needed them most. We’ve stopped countless arrests because of you. Now you need to rest. A few hours in bed won’t hurt the cause, don’t worry.”

“But…”

“If anything changes, regarding the protests or Charlie, I’ll wake you up straight away, don’t worry, Princess.”

I could feel something within me stir a little at being called that. It wasn’t enough to make me feel that headspace again, but it was enough to alert me that it still exists. That even after everything with not-Charlie… that side of me wasn’t completely ruined. Problem was… I wasn’t sure how long it would take for that side of me to heal. And also how it’d react with actual Charlie babying me… because a large part of me worried that that bridge had been burned and wasn’t being rebuilt any time. I guess I’ll have to wait and find out… if Charlie ever wakes up…

“I know you haven’t had anything to occupy yourself other than the protests, and I also know you haven’t eaten much…”

“Snitches…” I pouted as Claire opened the door to my ‘room’ and placed me gently on the bed.

“So I got you a few things whilst I was out.”

I looked to my side to see a brown paper bag. And the inner child within me squealed in delight at the thought of a surprise, so I quickly grabbed it and opened it to find a sandwich, a packet of crisps, a drink and… a colouring book, along with some crayons.

“I… I don’t know if…”

“Hey Liv, you don’t have to if you’re not up for it. I just thought it may be a good, simple idea for you to get your mind off things and focus on something else for ten minutes. So you’ve got 20 minutes to eat and colour, then I’m checking in on you. If you’re not in bed by then… I’ll put you to bed myself. Including a bedtime story…”

“A bedtime story… from Claire? Oh wow… I must be really special…”

“Oh Olivia… of course you are! Before our little team got together, I felt lost. But then I met you and Malcolm and Eve and… well, I gained a family. I love you just as if I would my kid sister, if I had one.”

“You never talk about your family…”

“They’re all gone. But maybe I’ll tell you about them, once this is all over. But you have to be good, eat some food, and get some sleep!”

“What about LIBRA?” I asked.

“What about them?”

“You had them before you met us…”

“They allowed me to do some good in the world. But it felt more like helping an organisation than helping the littles themselves. Especially as an Amazon in a littles rights organisation, I felt like a bit of an outsider, even if a good number of us are Amazons. It was your team that made me feel special… wanted… loved. So if you want that bedtime story… the offer is there…”

“I’ll hold you to that offer… in the future. Maybe I’ll get Charlie to let you babysit.” I smiled up at her.

“I could probably do with the practice, now that I have a baby on the way.”

“Are you still being careful out there? I don’t want you, or the baby, getting hurt whilst all this is going on.”

“Liv… you worry too much, now get some sleep. I’ll check in on you in a while.”

I smiled up at her and nodded as she closed the door. As soon as the door shut, I grabbed the sandwich and rabidly tore open the packaging, shoving the food into my mouth like I hadn’t eaten in days.

Which… I genuinely can’t remember how long it had been.

“Liv…”

“Huh?” I replied, my eyes still firmly closed as I was curled up in the foetal position, the blanket wrapped around my body tightly.

“Wake up, Liv…”

“Jus… ten more minutes…” I mumbled out loud.

“Liv… wake up!”

“Huh… wha?” I asked as I shot out of my sleepy haze and the world started loading in around me.

“Liv… it’s Charlie… she woke up!” Claire said, sitting at the end of my bed.

“SHE WHAT?” I yelled, jumping up in bed so I was now upright.

I felt a surge of relief flow through my body and an excitement I couldn’t hold in as the news that my wife had woken up triggered a burst of energy within me.

“She’s still a bit out of it, but she’s slowly coming to.”

“WHEN?” I said, diving out of bed and grabbing my shoes, pulling them closer so I could get them on and go.

“A few minutes ago. Faith sent a message as soon as she could.”

“I need to see her!”

“And I’ll take you, but…” Claire sighed.

And all of a sudden… that burst of energy had gone. If you follow good news with a ‘but’, it never ends well. Suddenly that excitement and energy… was replaced with fear and dread.

“But what, Claire?”

“You have a call…” She sounded nervous.

“From who?”

“...The Prime Minister.”

“How did he…?”

“We disabled the tracking in your phone, but we left it on in case they tried to contact you.”

They had taken my phone from me shortly after I first arrived at LIBRA HQ, worried that as I’d be a priority target, I’d be tracked. I hadn’t known they’d kept it on the whole time. I bet I had loads of messages from friends and family worried about me days ago. At least Claire had the sense to go around and take our friends and family to safehouses, as the police would no doubt go for my parents, Charlie’s parents, my friends… basically anyone I had regular contact with.

“What does he want?”

“He wants… to speak to you.”

“But Charlie…”

“Can wait. She’s awake, but she’s still not herself.”

“The hypnosis removal didn’t work?”

“Oh it did… but she’s still in a bit of a daze. She’s been awake for literally minutes. So first, Prime Minister, then your wife.”

“Fine. Let’s go see what that windbag wants to offer us…”

I hope the last few chapters really pack a punch.

So much build up.

Still no info on why Chris did what he did.

Charlie is awake, but still dazed.

Now the Prime Minister is calling.

What was the plan anyway?

I had skimmed the last few chapters out of boredom.

The deputy said it was all planned.

Chapter 36: Offer

Little in Love 2 – LittleFallenPrincess

“Miss Clarke…”

Mrs. I’m a married woman, SIR.” I replied, trying to pull all my snark together into one sentence.

If you can even make it through this without being declared immature and ending up back in nappies…” The Prime Minister responded with his own snark that made him sound like he was in control. But we both knew that wasn’t true, otherwise he wouldn’t be contacting me.

“If anyone is incompetent and in need of re-raising… it's you, Sir. Going against the will of the people… even from the start… that’s a pretty idiotic thing to do…”

“As if they know what is best for the country.” He scoffed.

“I thought you had values.”

“I do. And those values include knowing what is best for all littles. And that involves nurseries, regular changings and all responsibility taken away from you.”

“I thought the party always supported littles. At least… enough to give us some freedom. That's why I agreed to join you.”

“They did. That’s what made it so easy to make my way to a prominent leadership role and form the cabinet I desired. I do believe in a lot the Green Democrats aspire for… but not when it comes to littles.” He sounded so cocky.

“And you’ve been working with Chris Slater this entire time.”

“He’s the only little I actually admire. He had an Amazon mind in a little’s body, and I promised him great things. Shame you had to attack him like that.”

“So what do you want, Sir…?”

“I want you to call off this silly tantrum, this instant.” He barked at me.

“Tantrum? Is that what you think this is? You think we’re just having a strop because we didn’t get what we want?”

“Exactly that. So call it off, Mrs Clarke, otherwise I’ll have to resort to…”

“Using hypnosis on an unwilling population, mass scale? Arresting people for protesting lawfully?”

“They are rioting…”

Some are. A tiny minority are using this unrest as a great opportunity to steal and destroy stuff. But most who are being arrested are peacefully protesting. It’s your police force that are…”

“Oh come off it. As if a little knows anything about how the world works.” He laughed.

“I know a lot more about the cruelty of this world than you do. And unlike you, I’ve met people from other worlds and seen how they treat others less privileged. Some treat others with disdain, sure, but most try to treat minorities with kindness and respect. We need to follow their example. Littles need equal rights.”

“Littles need a sharp spanking and an early bedtime.” He snapped angrily at me.

“I can see this is going nowhere. You’re unreasonable.” I sighed.

“And you’re a little brat.”

“Sir…? Go fuck yourself.”

And with that, I hung up on him.

There was an awkward silence filling the room.

“So… no offer then?” Dotty asked, finally breaking it.

“No offer. He won’t even listen to reason, let alone a little’s demands.” I replied, trying to keep my anger in check now that that was over.

“What now then?” She asked.

“We continue. We shut down more of the country. Get our message out. Get more of the population joining with us. They have a dwindling police force and no backup from the armed forces, they can only hold out so long.”

“But what…” Dotty asked before being cut off.

“I’m proud of you, Olivia.” Claire said, pulling me in for a hug. “I would have said much worse to that human stain.”

“I… I need to see Charlie now, if that’s okay?” I asked around the room.

“Of course, hun. Dotty, you got control for a few hours?” Claire asked Dotty.

Dotty just nodded and smiled up at her, before turning to me and smiling more.

“I’ll… be back soon…” I returned the smile, waving goodbye to my newest friend and ally.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

“CHARLIE!” I screamed, running through the doorway, leaping up onto the huge hospital bed and pouncing on my wife, who seemed surprised by my sudden appearance. Claire had snuck me out of LIBRA HQ and through the city, before sneaking me into the hospital, as this was probably one of the locations they were looking out for me most.

“L… Liv?” Charlie replied, her face lighting up upon seeing me.

“Is it you? As in… the real you?” I asked, pulling my face up from her chest long enough to ask it.

“I… think so. I… Liv… I…”

“It’s okay! I’m glad you’re…”

“No, I have to say something… I…”

“No, Charlie, it’s okay, you don’t have to say anything.”

“I do though. I… I’m sorry. I’m sorry for putting you through that.”

Tears started streaming down her cheeks.

“It’s okay, Charlie, seriously, it wasn’t you.” I replied, holding back my own tears as best I could.

“It was though. Those were my maternal urges… I just… I couldn’t control them.”

“So? We’ve been together for years now, and you’ve handled them well. It wasn’t until Chris…”

“Chris…? Chris did… this… to me?”

“Yeah, he was working with the Prime Minister and wanted to knock me down a peg… or a hundred.”

“I’ll kill…” She clenched her fists in a fit of pure rage, so I quickly placed my small hand on her much larger one, and thankfully that was enough for her to come back to me.

“I… nearly did.” I admitted.

“What happened? I came to and Nessa of all people was sitting here with me. That was a huge surprise after all these years! She told me she met you and that you told her to come watch over me whilst apparently the country is going to shit?”

“Language…” I grinned up at her.

“Oi! Don’t you start, little missy! I… ugh, no, sorry… that just… feels weird now…”

“No, it’s okay, I think it’ll take a lot of time and even more therapy to process what happened so we can get back to our normal Mummy/baby thing.”

“I… didn’t do too much damage did I? I remember flashes of it… but… that’s about it. Like I was in the passenger seat… but only for some of it.”

“You used that brute force hypnosis stuff on me, which I must admit… wasn’t fun.”

“How… how are you…?” Her voice quivered, she was worried.

“Still me? Nanites, thankfully. Though it did actually affect me at first.”

“Oh good!” She breathed a sigh of relief. “Speaking of which… how am I back to normal now?”

“Faith is here. She’s been working with the device that turned you into that… person… and managed to reverse engineer what happened to your brain and fix it.”

“Remind me to thank her. And Eve. Again. Also… when did you and Nessa meet? I… always thought you two would get along, and it makes me so happy to see you did. I just wish I kept in touch with her…”

“She saved my life when I ran from the police during the protests.” I laughed, awkwardly.

“You… ran… from the police?”

“I… yeah… there may or may not be a warrant out for my arrest…”

“Olivia…” She looked at me, sternly, using that disapproving voice she only saves for special occasions.

‘Uh oh. Full name… I’m in trouble.’

“Look, over half the population is protesting up and down the country, the government is corrupt and the unrest was already a powder keg just waiting for a spark. My near-adoption and the press event was the spark that lit it up.” I explained, hoping it would make her worry about me less.

“Your near…? OLIVIA! What the hell happened whilst I was out of it?” Charlie sounded scared again…

“I… I’ll catch you up. But I’ll have to leave in about an hour or so, LIBRA still needs my help.”

“You’re helping LIBRA? After everything Chris did…?”

“I’m leading them.” I grinned at her, awkwardly.

“You’re… well, I guess that was a natural progression for you. You just can’t help but get involved when people need you, can you?” She smiled at me, warmly.

“Like Mummy, like baby…”

“Touché. Fine, well… just… be careful, okay baby?”

Yeah… it still felt weird her calling me that. I guess that’s going to take a while for me to be okay with again.

“I… I will.”

“So, snuggle up and tell me about everything that has been going on…”

“Charlie? Oh hey, Liv!” Faith said from the door just after I told Charlie about what my earlier conversation with the Prime Minister was about.

I had told Charlie all about the speech, the incident with Chris, the near adoption, the protests, Nessa saving me, and then all about working with LIBRA to keep things going. And the entire time she had this face that was full of fear… and pride. We had avoided the awkward subject of what happened whilst she was… you know… ‘not herself’. I think that was going to be our unspoken thing for a while, until we let it all out in therapy.

Ellie has got her work cut out for her…

“Hey Faith, thanks for healing Charlie and getting her back on her feet.” I said to my sister.

“Ah ah! No getting out of bed yet! I may have fixed the damage, but there is still some healing to do. The brain is a complex and sensitive thing to mess about with. At least that’s what Eve told me to tell you. So bed rest for you, okay Charlie?” Faith replied, sounding just like Charlie does when she’s trying to be all dominant with me.

Charlie just smiled and nodded at Faith, who smiled back at her.

“So… Liv…?” Faith said, shifting on her feet like she had some big secret she wanted to say, but couldn’t.

“What’s up?” I asked.

“Can… Can I talk to you outside for a moment?”

“Sure! Charlie… are…?” I was about to ask my wife if she was okay with me leaving her for a bit, but as usual, she knew what I was going to say before I even said it. I’m glad we’re still on that wavelength at least, even if our Mummy/baby stuff is out of whack right now.

“I’ll be fine. The nurses here are wonderful and Eve said she’d be here soon to give me another scan. Plus I have Nessa outside, keeping watch. So go, help her with whatever she needs, I’ll be fine. But promise to come back, I need more kisses from my wife!”

“I… fine. Now I’m definitely coming back straight away, I missed you!”

“I missed you too.” Charlie replied, grabbing my cheeks with her hands and pulling me forwards, planting a soft, cute little kiss on my forehead, before lifting me off the bed effortlessly and patting my butt, making me scoot away quickly.

“What is it, Faith?” I asked as we walked into a little room that we had walked down multiple corridors to get to. It was empty, with no-one nearby, not even in the hallway outside. Faith really liked the isolation it seemed, and this benefited me because I had to stay hidden, just in case this place was being surveilled.

“I fixed it.” She said, closing the door behind us, leaving me in this little room with nothing but a table, some tools, and a bunch of mechanical scraps.

“Fixed what?”

“The device.” She said, pointing to a small box-shaped device on the table with a little console on one of its faces.

‘That… that’s the simple, innocent-looking thing that broke Charlie…’ I thought to myself, feeling anger surge through my body.

“Wait, it needed fixing?” I asked.

“When I got my hands on it, I could tell that Slater guy and his tech team had tried to create this so it would work on a mass scale, something akin to the tech the Amazons use on littles through televisions. This would be really hard to trace, no one would even know what was happening until it was too late, but they never got it to work on anything mass scale. It uses soundwaves to…”

“Another time, Faith. So what did you fix exactly?” I asked.

“I’ve gotten it so the soundwaves can actually be broadcast through anything. Televisions, radios, phone signals… whatever. Just one press of the button and it’ll broadcast whatever subliminal message you want to send into the minds of Amazons… or littles in fact. If activated, it would send out a signal wirelessly, broadcasting it on any nearby devices. And if those devices are connected to the internet or through cables… then it would spread like a virus, sending the message through the whole system. You can limit how far it goes, but yeah… this could go everywhere.”

“So this…”

“Could turn the Amazons into mindless babies, just like what they do to littles.”

“That… sounds dangerous.” I replied.

“Oh it is! Imagine if Chris used this tech mass scale. I know he used it on that Madison woman, and on Charlie… but imagine the power he could have over anyone!”

“I’m glad we uncovered it all before he had a chance. This machine… should be destroyed.”

“But Liv… this… this could solve everything. Make Amazons into mindless babies…”

“That would be cruel and unjust, plus who would take care of all those Amazons? Not like littles can just step up… we’re not as strong or tall as they are.”

“Oh I agree, I don’t think I could ever do that to them. But what about just making them more… open minded?” Faith suggested.

“Open minded?” I asked, confused.

“To littles. To equality. You could make them agree to your Littles Equality Act thing. You could fix the country in seconds. You could fix the world…”

“I… that does sound tempting. No more protests needed. No more fighting. No more illegal adoptions… we couldn’t use it on other countries though, if it did get noticed it could be considered an act of war… I…” I was speechless. This… this was bigger than any one person. Using it on Madison was… okay, I guess… but this… “Faith… this is too much power for anyone.”

“Oh I agree!”

“Then why did you fix it?”

“I… look, I see something not working, I have to fix it just to prove that I can! Plus I needed to test the new update I’m going to upload to Charlie’s nanites to protect her from this in the future.”

“I…” I sighed and put my palm to my forehead. “We need to destroy it.”

“That’s okay, I know how to disable it and take it apart so that no one can rebuild it. As long as we make sure Chris doesn’t have copies and can’t rebuild it himself… we’ll be okay.”

She grabbed a screwdriver and sat down at the desk, pulling the device close to her.

But just as she began to unscrew the plate on the front, I felt something within me push me forward… a feeling of unease, as internally I could feel conflict within my conscience.

“Faith… stop…” I said, placing my hand over the small console on the front of the device, hovering mere inches above the keypad.

One simple press…

I'm sure you'll get some answers by the time it's finished :3

And yes, it's the usual 40 chapters + epilogue, though they won't be posted together, they'll be posted on different days.

I swear... one of these days I'll shake things up with a story that isn't 40 chapters and epilogue... one that has no mean cliffhangers but ends on the WORST thing imaginable. Just to shock you all...

Also it won't be sapphic at all...

jk :P As if my stories will ever stop being super gay!

Lets see if the Prime Minister is ready to talk to Liv reasonably this time around.

Yeah its probably a good idea to let Charlie come to a bit more. Its not like getting up from a nap.

An Amazon? Willing to talk to a little... reasonably? :P
