Those are all popular.  I think that I had an Incontrol Hybrid sample once and thought that they were good.  So I'd use those and save some money over the year.  I don't consider using four diapers per day to be more inconvenient than using three so that isn't a factor in my opinion.

That's a shit load of money for someone 24/7.  I love diapers but wear once or twice a week only (unless on a rare once every couple years solo vacation when I wear 24/7 while on the trip for about a week).  That would make for a pretty nice long vacation trip for a few weeks somewhere, even if I used 1/4 of the cost for diapers.

I agree with this - I can often make it through the day in 2 MegaMax's plus maybe one cheap "gym diaper" like a Prevail that costs $1.00 and buys me 2-3 hours, if the timeline between needing a change and planning to shower or to embark on some dusty or sweaty activity causes me to not want to put on an expensive premium diaper, when I know I will be changing again before I'd have done it justice. 

But you guys get diapers at decent prices - a case of MegaMax's in Canada is $180 now. With the exchange, that should be more like $150. That has caused me to use more Rearz products, because when they're on sale, I can still get cases for less than $100 CAD.

Like others, the "units per day" assumption doesn't resonate.  With the Incontrol Hybrid (aka "Barry"), I know that 2 units a day is fine although admittedly, that's "wet only".  For full use it would almost certainly rise to 3 units per day but unlikely to be 4.

So for me, that table over-estimates costs by 33% - 50%.

It's still a lot of money, something I offset by using lower cost premium products to augment the Barrys with BetterDry.

Thoughts?

Well that is a lot of money to spend on diapers. Makes me all the more happy I prefer cloth diapers and plastic pants, and if I go out I’ll use a medical type diaper like Attends, Tena or Abena.

Wow well I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong but I just started leaking in a MegaMax after 4 hours. I can get 3-4 out of a hybrid most days. Messy makes it more challenging and forget the numbers. I mean I have 2-5 bms a day. 

I need to find an alternative to the supreme that will be an 8 hour diaper (2-3 hours for me). That won’t swell as much as a MegaMax. Plus makes it more cost conscious for messy diapers.

Do you have the right size? A diaper that is too big or small is more likely to leak. And the MegaMax are sized just a bit different from the other NorthShore diapers.

How much if you went to cloth diapers?
