TeddyCon is gone

They posted up today that they're shutting down permanently.   But something new is rising from the ashes...  never been to it, so no particular comments on whether this is good or bad.

Seems like some drama went down and they were bailed out by someone, atleast that's what I gather. I know nothing about anyone involved in this.

I only attended one TeddyCon and I wasn't impressed. Don't know any of the background there, but when I attended it seemed like a generic version of CAPCon. The hotel was musty and dirty, at least one of the event coordinators was on a bit of a power trip, and it overall just didn't seem like it was worth the time.

TeddyCon has had a lot of drama, and this was bound to happen.

I'd lay money on it was due to their covid 19 policy and the fact they couldn't toss this event after taking everyone's money. I'm watching Capcon to see if that turns out good or bad. I already see some of my friends second guessing if they should have bought tickets.
