This was a sitcom from years ago. The father is upset that his son isn’t doing well with potty training and he has a daydream of his teenage son still in diapers. Starts around the 16 minute mark.

Lol. The competition is real, though - my sisters raised it to a high art. My middle sister allegedly had my nephew trained by the time he was 18 months old... except that, while he no longer wore diapers during the day, he was terrified of the toilet, and would pee into it from afar, but would not sit on it for anything. So, he was still coming and asking to have a diaper put on, so he could go poop, until he was 4. Victory.....? Sort of.

Most TV teenagers are aged like that.   And most people portraying their parents are in the thirties.
