I have read just about every diaper dimension story on this list and some on others including the Princess potty pants.  I am not sure who came up with the idea of the days being longer thought.  I have to say that I love the world and country that you write about, but it must be hard to write about things with a day being 32 hours when you live in one that is 24.  You are one of the writers that use times in your stories the most,  I found that times when you wrote Exchanged there were places that went between the 2.  I guess if you are not used to being in the military it would be hard to stop using am and pm times.  One of the example is Stacy's school schedule where you from 12am to 1pm.  That would be like saying you had a class at 1200 hours and then 1700 hours.  Just something I was thinking of, I still love reading your work and look forward to your next one, but some things I would think you be different about a world with 32 hours in a day, like the work day be 10 hours instead of 8, sunrise at 8:30 instead of 6 and longer times for other things.  One thing I thought of to make it easier would be to have the dimension still have 12 hours in the day but make the hour 80 minutes instead of 60.  Just my thought, probaly should have posted this somewhere else on this site.  Still your fan for life.

Just finished chapter 35. I have read this before, so I remember where things are headed but, I feel that Cameron didn’t show enough rage here. Or at least he could have made a real pull out all the stops  attempt to get Addy to change her mind.  In my mind Addison had an opportunity to bring Cameron to Kendra and Brian and had not been forced to really exhaust all of her options before coming to this point.
 

The line I feel is missing is,  “Addison, if you do this to me, I will never forgive you.  I will never be your loving daughter.  You may mess up my mind or brainwash me to behave like the perfect little girl you are looking for for, but know that I, the man you say you once loved, will spend my last conscious moments hating you.  If you ever loved me.  Don’t do this.”

Knowing where things go from here, maybe this would have been a step too far to get to your final end point, but I would have liked to see Cameron really go for the throat and Addison really have to double down to d she felt this was truly her only best option.

So I finished. I really enjoyed it.  You mention Addison being a polarizing character.  I honestly see it in both Ivy and Addy.  With Addy you hit on the idea that she had been affected by Stacy’s nanites.  I like the idea that Addison imprinted on Cam.  It makes her character much more believable and likable.  She clearly has an internal conflict that she struggles with and was only really cured by her becoming a mother.  Perhaps it is a testament to the fact that Bigs are in some ways as incapable of denying these instincts as Littles are of growing taller.

This story will always break my heart.

Beth's fate is horrible, but what makes it all the more devastating is that this is about what the average Little can expect to happen to them with a high likelihood. (well, chances are it won't be quite as bad since they'll only be regressed once, but still) 

However the fact that this gets fully covered, without at the same time turning it into one of these seriously depressing masochistic novels where the main character themselves goes down regression rabbit hole is what also makes this story the best one by Baby Sophia in my opinion (at least of the ones I've read - where that Emerald Princess at?) 

Usually collateral damages of the twisted Amazon society only seem to appear as side characters that quickly get swept under the rug and never really reappear  once they're regressed (think Stacy's friend, Laura or whatever her name was) 

This book shows the devastating reality of a perfectly good life getting destroyed by injustness of the diaper dimension pretty well without making it the main focus 

I don't know why people are so riled up against Cameron and Addy - sure, neither of them strikes me as the super selfless sympathetic kind of person, but they aren't all villains either in my mind. Overall characters here are a lot more nuanced and fleshed out psychologically than for example in Exchanged. 

I just read this again since the first time dates back a few years already, and I remembered a lot more of it than of Exchanged - this time I also had the added benefit of being familiar with Ivy and Holly after having read through that story right before (somehow the first time I went through Sophia's works I missed that one). 

Also, one character specifically deserves a lot more credit than he ever received: Mr. Fehler is kind of an unsung hero in all of this. That poor man really went through the wringer there. The sheer amount of emotional trauma he must've incurred - getting divorced to make things work out, being forced to have modifications done on his daughter, having to forcibly keep her as a baby for years, moving to a different state multiple times, seeing Beth get regressed a second time after she'd just been declared emancipated - along with his wife, and this time permanently; being on the run again for years... I seriously don't know how he took all that without breaking down himself and managing to still immediately be back on the road with his family to keep them safe. He lost way more than Cameron ever did.

Yeah, Beth definitely served as more of a punching bag to further the plot around Cameron like some people commented, but the horrible thing is how realistic this is. Some people just can't seem to catch a break, always ending up with the short end of the straw no matter what.  

Ever since Exchanged I've also been wondering if some of the weird names you chose @BabySofia actually have a hidden meaning: "Fehler" would be german for "mistake" which I think sums up Beth's character eerily well all things considered. And with "wenig hall" in Emerson the "wenig" more or less translates to "little" which just seems too much of a coincidence... 

So yeah, great novel, I once again had quite a few sleep deprived nights because I couldn't stop reading (even though I roughly knew what was coming) 

Also really liked the state names spelled backward like "selegnasol" instead of Los Angeles, only actually realized it here for some reason. Along those lines I noticed a slight inconsistency: towards the end you called the country America a few times instead of Acimera like in the beginning. Anyway, minor nitpicks. Amazing novel overall, definitely your best IMO! 

 

BTW I don't mind the ending - it's heartbreaking and I sure would've preferred a happy ever after with Beth, but it was clearly never meant to be. The way I see things Cameron never stopped loving Addy, even though he never loved her quite as much as Beth - people got angry that he forgot about Beth too quickly to go back to fucking his ex, but I feel like there were several years of mourning you skipped over in a few sentences which might make it feel more insignificant than it actually was...

and even twisted some of the major tropes you like to play if I was fully expecting Cameron to become a girl. Even if I just grouped some of the writing here and there it was still a relatively really really good read overall.

I liked the story. I hope that the diaper dimension grows to be a better place for everyone. I do have a question though. How do baby amazons not get kidnapped? I feel like baby amazons would get mistaken as littles and get swept off the streets. Once that happens enough times there would probably be more verifications put in place of the whole any little is fair game situation.

In my mind, part of what drives adoption is the unfulfilled need of Bigs to have a child. There's a severely low birthrate in this dimension (think 40 percent or less of women can have babies). Those that do have children, absolutely guard those babies with their lives. Unwanted children are non-existent in that society.
