No "heart" icon on my posts in the "quote"field

This might just be me, or the way the post system is, but I just noticed there isnt' the little "heart" icon at the bottom of my posts, so people can "like" or what ever my postings. Is that a glitch??? Di I need to add something??? Did I do something wrong so noone can "like" my posts??? ? 

Or does it not show up in the posters window, but others can see it???

You can't HEART your own posts.   Your posts have hearts when other people view them.

Ok, thats what I figured in order to keep people from "liking" their own content or posts. But how can you tell if someone did "like" what you wrote.....? Or did I miss something else....?

You'll get a notification if someone hearts your post.   I just did yours above.

Further, a list of those who have liked it appears about where the heart button would be on your own posts (on others it shows just to the left of the heart button).
