Bibs

Yes. Do not forget, bibs were grown-up wear, so If I am going to do something that has a better than 10% chance of getting on me that is messy, or am eating in a confined area, I have a transparent one that I use. It did it's job more than once and saved me from having to wash something by itself

I wish the companies like Gary would make the full-coverage "cobbler [actually 'cover-all' bibs]" that were come AB wear 20 to 35 years ago, that which, with matching panties (with which they were often sold in sets) would be a proper babydoll

I love my bibs. I wear them all the time when I’m in baby mode. I have a couple of large tie up bibs and the rest are pullover. I clip my dummy to my bibs all the time too. I have loads but here’s just a few pics ??‍♂️??

I have lots of great bibs too, but not many photos of them. Here are a quick 2, the yellow terry/plastic, I believe was from Kins, the Disney is a large toddler bib.

Hi everyone! I was wondering if any one wears bibs? I will personally love using bibs and I was wondering if anyone else does too, and what kind of bib that other people use!

Yes.  I wear a bib.  Can get kind of messy during meals.

I have several of the A.C. Medical frosted clear bibs of both sizes, that I use in nonk-LG situations. A full lingth one that I keep in my kit bag for when we go on delivery to the NY/NJ area. This is use when we are on the return leg and hit the Darien Travel Plaza. 9 times out of 10 we grab a couple of slices each of S Barro's pizza to go, which we scarf down with bug juice that I prepare the day before, put in the freezer until I get ready to leave at 3 AM. Since we don't usually get to Darein on the return leg, the BJ is thawed but still cold. That  kind of a lunch has a 90% probability of having some part of itself getting on your clothes when you eat it in tight quarters. Thhen it's a 2-3/4 hour ride back home and I do NOT like to have to deal with tomato sauce or bug juice stains. One time the driver gave me the needle with "Aww; isn't that cute". I said "Maybe, but I don't have Alice [his wife] to take care of my clothes for me and we're talking about tomato sauce [which had already happened once]"

Another short bib I use for house cleaning. I use it with a skirt I got from A.C. Medical as a gift. It i a frosted clear grainy material of about 28" in length. I turned up the hem about 2" and glued it at the seams to create a water catcher When I am doing things like washing a floor or anything that can get messy. I put the skirt up just under my armpits like a babydoll and then put the bib on as normal and get full coverage from my shoulders to my knees. And before anyone opens her trap, I often do housework en petite fille for whichI have a number of A-line skirts with the hems turned up a couple of unches and fixed in place that I got from A.C. Medical and wear over one of my pearlescent babydolls (If the hem is not turned up, the water runs down and gets on my legs and the colored skirt contrasts with the babydoll or adds a transparent colored layer to it)

Here is an example worn over a pearlescent slip

Bibs were originally a piece of adult kit and comes from the the same root as beverage, imbibe and the Portuguese word "biber [to drink]"

Here is the most authentic full-coverage bib I have ever seen. It is not cheap, but the 7 mil, milky whyte is as authentic as it gets

The bib began life as adult wear; a piece of white cloth put over the upper part of a garment to ieep it from being stained, usually be wine or other drink, hence the world bib from the Romance langages word for "drink" see "imbibe" or Port "biber" to drind

I don't wear bibs no more, but I used to. I had a clear vinyl Winnie the Pooh bib that was nice n thick from Comco that I loved lots! And a full coverage ballerina one with a crumb catcher. Both casualties of a purge.. ? Lucky I'm not a messy eater these days. All messy babies need to be in bibs no ifs ands or buts
