Excuses used for getting caught

I have a feeling a few of us have gotten caught with diapers by friends or family members. I remember getting caught twice by my mom. The first time was when I was about 11 and I fashioned a diaper out of toilet paper and my mom found it underneath my bathroom sink and sternly asked what it was an I told her an art project. I got away after an angry talk about saving money. The second time was when we were cleaning out my dresser and I had an empty bag of dollar general brand pull-ups and she asked me since I was right there when she saw them. I told her I used them while I hunted so I didn’t have to get out of my spot in the woods. She simply said gross and let them stay in my dresser since I think there might’ve been a couple left. Anyways what excuses have you guys used and did you get away?

I used an excuse to get into them: told my mom when I was a 14 and a few times until I was 17 that I was wetting the bed and could she buy me diapers. Worked.

Nowadays, 16 years later, if asked I’d tell her I was sometimes having trouble with the surgery I recently had. I had anal surgery in April, and incontinence was a potential risk. Thankfully I didn’t experience that, but I did experience some bleeding and anal leakage for about a month related. She asked me why I had a bag with me, and I told her “in case I need to clean up.” She got embarrassed and walked away.

Haven’t had that problem for almost six weeks, but were I to get caught, I’d say I had periodic post-surgery symptoms, and this is the easiest way to manage it.

Or is just tell the truth. She my diapers and diaper porn when I was a teen, and she never said anything about them. I wear around them all the time. Once or twice I’ve even looked down at myself in their living room and thought how obvious it was. Have they ever noticed? Idk, but if they know, they’ve never said anything about it.

I’m at the point where I think of me wearing diapers as part fetish, part identity, and part mental health strategy. I don’t think I’m all that shy about it anymore. So maybe the truth is enough: I need them.

My mother and younger brother found my stash in my closet at 19. It was brought up at the dinner table, but I had no answer for them. I tossed everything the next day. It was only brought up about a week later by my mom who wanted to know where all my diapers went so she could give on as a gag gift for a friends birthday. I just told her I threw everything out and that was the end of it. I actually quit wearing for about a year and a half after that. I was 28 the second time I got caught. I was visiting my mom at her house and took off my night time diaper (well used M4) and like I normally did I tucked it under my bed sheets while I took a shower. Normally I grab it on the way out and toss it in the bin, but I forgot for whatever reason. She found it a day later after it started to stink up the room. She didn’t know what to make of it. She actually asked my brother if he was playing a joke on me a put a diaper in my bed. She didn’t ask me about it until the following week when I saw her again. I lied and said it wasn’t mine. However, later that day I came clean about everything and she was okey with it. A little surprised, but after I explained it she was of the impression it wasn’t hurting anyone so whatever floats your boat. Amazingly she had completely forgotten about finding my diapers in my closet at 19. I try to be discrete around her and she has never brought it up since. I did get busted a few months after coming clean. I woke up in the middle of the night in a soaked SDK and decided to change into a fresh one to avoid a possible leak. After changing I was a little parched so I went into the kitchen to grab a glass of water. It was just me and her at the house and it was around 0200 so I figured it would be safe. So I’m in the completely dark kitchen filling my glass when my mom pops around the corner and asked why I’m up. So I’m standing there wearing only a SDK and the only light source is from the fridge water despencer which is right at waist height. I just grabbed my glass and walked past he and said I was thirsty and that was the end of that. I was glad I had just changed though. Not quite sure why but being soaked vs dry seems like a worse way to get busted.

I really do not remember getting caught when I was a kid though I do remember that my older brother told on me to a few friends. Now a days if someone finds out I just don't give a flying! F*** as it is my business not theirs.  I am 47 years of age and if I want to wear a diaper I shall do it.   Plus I got bad bowel issue so I technically have to wear them when I leave the house as well I might have a messy butt by the time I get home.  Which I hate.

Never really caught as a kid, but many times as an adult.  I just don't care, i'm incontinent and its part of my life.

I'm not sure if any excuse will be believable if you are caught as a kid or teen wearing diapers by your mom or dad.

I’ve always said, keep your diapers in the same place as your hardcore porn and illegal drugs. If they find your hiding spot, you won’t be answering any questions about diapers ?

I don’t know I think it depends who caught me. If it is a stranger I would probably tell him or her that I need them because I have incontinence issues and leave it at that. If it is somebody I know like family I will most likely tell the truth, I kind of hate lying. Aside of that most of my family knows already.

I would tell a stranger to mind his own business, in part because any adult who comments on another adult’s underwear clearly was not properly taught to mind their own business when they were a child.

I suppose it will make a difference if they noticed because you are showing and they are being kind enough to let you know that you are showing, then I feel there is no reason to become all snappy about it, they are just being kind and considerate. From my point of view it has little to do with being nosy of poorly taught. And if you are showing and you know it, it is a different story all together.

I never got caught really. When I was much younger, around 12 or 13, I would use my old underwear stuffed with toilet paper. I would dispose of the toilet paper after use and wash my undies. There were a few tiny doors in my room that lead to the rest of the attic where I kept them. Nobody ever went into them, so I felt safe. My mom decided to clean my room and found a pair just inside the door with stains. She asked me and I said it was diarrhea and couldn't make it in time. I've always been more careful at hiding anything I don't want people to know about. Now though, my stash I hide from my husband sits in the middle of the floor in a non descript box with another heavy box on top. He rarely goes into,the basement and is not the cleaning type. Maybe apart of me wants him to find it. Dunno. Getting a little deep here.
