Howdy21
Hi all and happy holidays. I've found that too many diapers are loose fitting even with several taping attempts. A good waistband helps. Which diapers have the best fit and best waistband? Link to comment
willnotwill
The only elastic waistband tape on diapers I know of are the attends. One hint for getting a tight waistband fit is not to tape them up as it would seem to make sense, pulling the tapes parallel across the diaper. Take the bottom tapes and angle them upward. Take the top tapes and angle them downward. Watch this video: Link to comment
gah!ghost
Dry 24/7 and I think some others also have waist bands. A lot of AB diapers do as well and often they have plain white options. Link to comment
drynot
I know that Rearz and Bambino have front and rear waist bands on their diapers. Both work very well IMO. Link to comment
willnotwill
I wear the dry247 all the time. I'm fairly sure they don't have a waistband. The Bambino and the Rearz do for sure. Link to comment
gah!ghost
You know what? I think I'm thinking of the Better Dry. I get them confused. Link to comment
rusty pins
I've never found waistbands effective at all on disposable diapers. The elastic is only in the back and front and not that strong over all. To keep my diaper on tight enough at the waist, I have to pull it very tight. With an elastic waistband, my diaper is pulled so tight that the elastic is streached out to the max. If I taped my diaper on looser so the elastic streached, it would be too lose and my diaper would start to slide down. To me, disposable diapers are better with just elastic legs, Forget about the elastic waist. Link to comment
Dartplayerinwvc
use duct tape along the waist to tighten them up Link to comment
