justagirl4fun
Something hurts when it shouldn't, and you don't know why...and you have to ask if you should be concerned? Yes, you should. Go see a doctor. Link to comment
beallucanb
Gonorrhea has symptoms like you speak of, I would check out the symptoms and get treated as soon as you can. Link to comment
Baby Brian
Sounds like it's a time for a check up. Link to comment

growlycub
@beallucanb Well I'm a virgin so we can thankfully rule that one out. I hear you all, but why should I need to go to the doctor if this happens only occasionally. It's only maybe once a week. Link to comment

Bettypooh
You should go because you're not supposed to experience pain like that ever, which indicates that something is wrong Link to comment
growlycub
I guess I thought this might have been a common experience, but I hear what you guys are saying. I'll try to get in there soon. Thanks! Link to comment

Just because the most common way of infection is sex, it's not the only way. Do not rule anything out without evidence, many people who get something have no idea where they got the contact. Any pain of unknown causes needs medical evaluation. You don't want to wait and then hear a doctor say, "really sorry, you should have come seen us much earlier". Link to comment
dmavn
I've had this a few times with the beginning stages of a uti so you definitely want to get it checked. Watch the acid intake and make sure you drink plenty of water. Many incontinent people, myself included, unconsciously do not drink enough water. More drinking equals more changes and chances of leaks etc. Link to comment
Dill_Pickle
While we are on home remedies, pure cranberry juice (the kind that's like $4 per quart, cloudy, and bitter sour) helps the urinary tract shed anything inside. Link to comment
growlycub
Turns out they don't know what was wrong. They did a culture and it all came back negative. When I left the doctors office last Thursday they did give me a prescription for an amoxicillin (antibiotic), and I technically have not had the issue since then. So that is a good thing. Though I stopped taking the antibiotic when they informed me that the culture came back negative on Tuesday. I think it's possible that it is some sort of chemical irritation. This would be "chemical urethritis." Hopefully it stops happening. Link to comment
Dill_Pickle
OK, what have you been eating, and have you been drinking enough? Link to comment
growlycub
Hm.. I'll have to think more about the food patterns, but I do drink a pretty large amount throughout the day. My urine is never really that concentrated. Link to comment
Dill_Pickle
How often do you ejaculate? Link to comment
