P.Longabaugh81
Update: OK, we seem to be back (for the moment anyway.) I don't care-- I still want to pull up stakes (don't trust google) so the blog will stay at blogger until I can shift us somewhere else (or until they kill us for good.) At least I was able to score a full back-up... Link to comment

Little BabyDoll Christine
I use exmasters for inexpensive, no-frills adult-friendly hosting http://www.exmasters.com/ and Registry Inc for Domain Name Service https://www.register.com/index.rcmx?ntld=true Exmasters' upload service is a bit dodgy, If you have Firefox, get FireFTP. I hand-code with Notepad If you do not wish to hand code and do not have FireFox then get FairyWand which has setups for the best freeware for this kind of thing PageBreeze, Filezilla FTP, IrfanView FastStone, and iWebAlbum and others in the form of setups.exe in a large zip file. I have either used or tried them all except for Thingamablog, which is blogging software http://sandralyn.net/agpak.html You will not need the profile page templete. You might need a place to store photos and videos Link to comment

Little BabyDoll Christine
Like how I feel when I see the endless dicussions of the minutiae of various paper diapers: Maxi, slip, clumping, "says Med but doesn't fit", Bianco, Classico, Bellissiml and so on Link to comment

Baby Brian
Personally I like the upload speed of a Dry24/7. They also have decent firewall protection, be careful though, they don't have any antivirus protection to speak of. 1 Link to comment
Little BabyDoll Christine
Yet you're on a diaper forum... People are going to discuss all types of diapers. And other things, too, like websites. The diaper forum is on the web Link to comment

Even Edward Snowden could not find a leak. and there is no gauze for concern once you get a bird'seye view of how it works Link to comment
Guest YoungZeppelin
I been programming in wordpress the past few months, is pretty awesome with TONS of support. Only downside is it can be really annoying when trying to run scripts in it. Link to comment
Dirty Diaper/Maxipad Lover
I'd also recommend the Wordpress software that DailyDi has pointed out. I actually prefer their alternative to Blogger for freely hosted material, and the version that's meant to be self-hosted is insanely powerful and very customizable. Link to comment

Little BabyDoll Christine
Well as far as a video hosting siet, I have found this http://dprtube.com/ Here is my general internet resource roundup http://www.dailydiapers.com/board/index.php?showtopic=42620 If you do not know anything about webpages use the FairyWand PageBreeze, it is both WYSIWYG and HTML builder and you can switch back and forth The advantage of making your pages or site at home then ftp'ing it up to the host server is that you have a master copy at home in case something goes wrong You will need to learn about Domain Name Servers. But that is mostly pointing them and .com .net .us etc and paying for them Why not blog here? Link to comment
