What are peoples' feelings about multiple diapers?

When I use extra large disposable infant size I need to double diaper in order not to leak, but it feels so cool.

i like wearing 3-4 medium overnight prefold cloth diapers. love the thickness, hate the size small plastic pants i have, lol.

I think it's kind of a waste of diapers, you can get a good/big look, better performance out of using stuffers.

I like pairing an adult diaper stuffed with a baby diaper or booster pad. I usually don't use more than two because I won't use it completely.

I use a Depends tape on brief, then pin on a night time cloth diaper and plastic pants. Works well at leak prevention.

I have a form/function to using multiple diapers. I like to us multiple diapers to get a thicker feeling (especially from thinner diapers), but I never put to many on that its a waste and some don't get used. I think the most I have used before is either three or four, but I always cut slits in each diaper that is underneath another one and I make sure that the diaper is completely cover the diaper underneath it.

@GeJoe, I use a store brand (CVS), then a cloth over that with plastic pants.

I make cloth diapers and Zorb soaker panels. Zorb absorbs a lot without being thick; that way if I'm wearing around the family, they won't know what I have on underneath my clothes. Also, the PUL waterproof pants I make are soft and crinkle-free and undetectable. I'm sure real babies don't like bulky diapers.
