Work from home

So I just got a new job and will be working from home I'm very excited as this means no more commute, no more dress clothes and no more yucky pull-ups! And lots more sippy cups I'm just curious if anyone else works from home and how it works out for you?

I've worked from home for 12 years now.

I will be working from home starting January 17th and I can't wait. No commute is going to save me 3 hours a day minimum.

I'd like to work from home, but a big part of my job is end-of-line inspections.

I could potentially do some of my work from home, but my company wouldn't allow it. Only the assistant to the director gets to do that, which is a shame because I have a very long commute. Oh well...I plan to retire in December of 2015.

Because of various regulations to reduce traffic and pollution, my law firm encourages our partners to work from home 2 days a month or 24 days a year.

When I worked from home I worked way more hours than I would work when I was in the office.

I kind of like having a place to go everyday and place to leave it all behind when I walk out of the office in the evening.

That’s not to say I would not embrace the opportunity to work from home again but I would place disciplines on my working hours.
