lilme` Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 You ever get the feeling you're the only sane person at your job?
Kaidus Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I did, until I got canned for expressing my thoughts.
lilme` Posted September 14, 2013 Author Posted September 14, 2013 That's the worst part too. You can't say anything. they're all nuts but you'll be viewed as the "problem".
square_duck Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Sanity is over rated...or so says my invisible friend(s)
Hookedondiapers Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I used to think I was the only person in management that used common sense.
Bettypooh Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I don't get that feeling, I AM the only sane person at my workplace And many people wouldn't call me very sane at all
Champy Fox Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 At my work, I feel as though I am the only person in the factory with Common Sense at all
Dill_Pickle Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 You sane folks neglect an important fact of life: Common sense is not in fact all that common! Lol I am one of a very few sane folks at my company...insanity is actually the norm, this is why successful companies don't last forever. Now, I need a saner employer myself! Embedded systems programmer, inventor on two patents, power electronic designer.
lilJester Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 it just scares me when people call ME the levelheaded and sane one.....
astrodiaper Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Not so much at work as it seems in my family. At times it seems like I'm the only the only one with my shit together, even that's only an illusion.
Bettypooh Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I have a very sane sister, a Mom going into age-related dementia, another sister who has serious mental problems, and a brother who is not always logical. Their kids are somewhat better but all suffer from illogical thought and denial of reality to some degree. Beyond that, there is no question of sanity in my family- there is none My own sanity came late after a couple years of Therapy and I sometimes wish that hadn't happened- nobody expected anything of me before that but they certainly do now! Life was a lot easier before I sought sanity
