I'm Canadian...so I don't have a horse in this race...but that Romney guy just seems to be completely out of touch. Maybe someone can explain what he brings to the table over and above your current guy....Obama, Cause ol' Mitt there regularly gets crucified in the generally biased Liberal media....

Romney is not my first choice but he is my only choice. As a card carrying NRA member, I cannot vote any other way. Obama has violated his oath and the public trust. He is a narcissistic liar with no shame. He partied and played golf, missing half his security briefings, notably the ones immediately before 9/11/12 and would have been warned of the planned attacks. His attorney general is a disgrace, trying to trump up gun crimes with Fast and Furious that blew up in his face.

Romney is a hard-working, honest man at least. He has been successful in something other than politics and Ryan has a good head on his shoulders. I've given money to the Romney-Ryan campaign because I believe they are the best choice for a strong USA and will not bow to foreign kings nor apologize for being the most successful country on the planet.

Anyone that believes in a strong America, believes in the constitution cannot possibly think Obama is right for America, the home of the free and the land of the brave!

Guess you missed the memo! Little Prince Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said that Romney was not the face of Mormonism! That should help you out somewhat since its coming from a Left Wing Democrat! I'm canadian, but I'll admit I was all for Obama back in 2008, mainly because he was such a stark contrast from the calamity that was the Bush administration. However, since his inauguration, he's not only proven himself to be on the same trajectory as many of the Bush initiatives, he's expanded almost all of them. There are three main reasons why I believe this:

2. Respecting state laws on medical marijuana. Obama promised he would do so, essentially pulling a 180 on Bush's stance. Yet he's done the exact opposite and has escalated DEA and other federal initiatives with regards to cracking down on medical marijuana in states where there people have said it was ok. Bush cracked down hard on marijuana, legal or illegal, and as a result, crystal methamphetamine has spiked enormously both in production and consumption in the united states with little focus on a federal level in terms of preventing the spread of this obviously more harmful substance. http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2012/09/27/inside-obama-s-war-on-weed.html

3. Drone attacks. That being said, Obama is still the lesser evil of your two-party system. It's basically a choice between solid poop and diarrhea. Doesn't matter how 'big into' his Mormonism he is - he keeps around his magic underwear and believes that a convicted criminal got a couple of golden tablets from an angel that told him about Jesus' visit to North America, to where he will return for several years after he comes back (Mormonism is pre-trib IIRC) and believes black people are the result of neutrality in a rebellion on heaven (oh boy, Curse of Ham all over again). This is what Mitt Romney actually believes. It's a shame neither have a reality-based belief system, but Mormonism is next to scientology on the batshittery scale.

I don't buy his evolved vision about gay marriage. As soon as he's reelected he's going to disregard his support and when the mini amnesty expires he's already databases illegal aliens or undocumented persons. The two things you don't discuss unless you want a knock down drag out fight and lots of very upset people. I'm not going to state my political preference here, but those friends of mine know what it is. If they don't know, all they have to do is drive by my house and see the yard signs. My feeling is, you have the die hard democrats and die hard republicans and die hard tea party people. You could have Adolph Hitler running as President and Benito Mousselini as his Vice President, and if they were running on the democratic ticket, those die hard democrats would vote for them. If they were running on the republican ticket, the die hard republicans would vote for them! Just look at congress! It doesn't matter if a republican or democratic govenor pushed through and gained approval on an issue at the state level. If that same exact issue came up on the federal level, those same govenor's would be against it if it was the brainchild of the opposite party! Whatever the democrats are for, the republicans are automatically against it, and vice versa. It's not about what's good or right for the country anymore! It's all about doing the opposite of whatever the other party is for, just for spite! Yes, for spite! First, it's a sour grapes attitude that their party didn't win the election in the first place! They take the immediate attitude that they will not cooperate with the other party because they didn't win the election and they are sore about it, democrats and republicans! Each party wants their candidate to win the next election, and they feel that if they cooperate on a bipartisan effort, it will look like they agree with the other party and therefore might just lose the next election! Also, those congressmen will incure the rath of those in their own party if thy show any bipartisan effort on any issue! They will be brow beaten and demoted off of any special comittees and not nominated by their party to chair anything. The sad truth is it's party against party, not government working for what's best for the American people. The people who will decide the election are those in the middle who listen to both candidiates, look at the past records and see who has been working in congress for the betterment of the American people and who in congress is just playing politics. It's those in the middle who will decide based on what the candidates say, not based on being a far left or right die hard member of a specific political party.
