Many people celebrated the death of Adolf Hitler, Jeffery Dahmer, etc. .... where you personally draw the line is your own decision, others draw different lines. Celebrity status is not a career choice, a career is solid employment with a long term goal, celebrity status is just a fleeting and fickle status that makes money based on the whims of what's popular at that particular moment. I am only aware of one person that lost their job because of a videotape being edited and taken out of context and that was the USDA employee that admitted to previously having been a racebaiter. She is now maikng a mint. The people with Acorn deserved what they got. Acorn was conspiring to commit tax fraud and to shelter a human trafficing operation. Another ACORN employee admits to killing her husband and makes further threats in the video.

I am not short sited. For over 40 years I was told how the Marxists were going to take over and it happened!

I will not bother debating the other stuff. But, there were several others. However, even one leads to one fact: If you must lie to get your point across, then you are just wrong and so is anyone who buys the lie.

If we allow it to go unchecked, then others will believe it's okay to lie and destroy other people's lives with that lie. I have a strict anti-lying policy, nothing annoys me more than lies and lies that hurt people anger me. Yeah, I admit this is emotionally driven, but the emotion is only the starting point.

If a person has a point to make, make the point as they can, and let people or science decide or prove otherwise. If you have conviction in your views and facts to base those on, then they can withstand scrutiny. If he had hurt people by putting facts forward I would not be angry at all, but that's just not the case here.

As for "making a mint", I already addressed that. Fame is fleeting, and is not a career choice. Very few people hold onto fame for very long, many lose it during life only to have it return after death. It's a very unstable status. She had a career, one that was solid, and he destroyed that with a lie. You cannot justify that. If he had facts and actual evidence, he would have put those forward, and if those were not disputed then he'd have a foot to stand on, but that did not happen.
