Fox News At Their Usual Scaremongering Tricks...Several Years Late.

Recommended Posts

Why is this only a problem now and not when the original borrowers or Dr Seuss book came out? Why was this not a problem with Avatar, An Inconvenient Truth, Dances With Wolves, Mulan and, well, I don't know how many other films carrying these themes? Even before I bring in books?

Fox News: Protectors of the Land of the Brave, Home of the Free, and where Scaremongering is the national sport.

My face when I watched this.

Is fox news implying that fairness and not destroying the environment are bad things? I find it funny that they talked about the makers vs the takers. That's a cool fairy tale bro. There are very few people who are so lazy that they would rather live on the pittance that gets handed to them by the government than get a job. If you think this isn't the case than you are just extremely arrogant and need to learn to respect others. This is one of the craziest things I've seen from fox news. LIBRULS TRYIN TO BRANWASH UR CHILDRENS WIT CARTOONS DA BIBLE TELS U TO HAT POR PEOPLZ.

The video was posted by Media Matters. Media Matters masqurades as a non-profit organization. They are about to lose their tax exemption for their activities. Media Matters is connected to a committed Marxist named George Soros. Mr. Soros's objective is the same as President Obama. Obama's objective is to oversee the systemaitic destruction of America.

It should be noted that Media Matters personnel have been caught in the act of illegally stalking Fox News's employees. It is not illegal to monitor the press or gather news. It is illegal, in America, to call yourself a not-for profit organization when you are in fact a loby or political activist.

As for Lou Dobbs, I have had the pleasure of being in his company. He is a great journalist. I agree with Lou Dobbs's observations.

First, why is it that only that particular Fox team ever gets attention? They're idiots, I don't even think the wingnuts on the right pay attention to that network anymore.

Second, that's pretty much the quality of most news that gets attention, you should see some of the nuts on NBC or ABC, a lot on PBS as well .... it's par for mainstream media, make controversy to increase ratings so they can charge more for advertisement space.

I guess so (PBS, really?), but when it comes to making controversy, it's hard to top conspiracies that every animated movie with environment protection themes can be easily construed as a "Hollywood, liberal" agenda. Guess they didn't pick up the memo that said The Lorax is being used to sell SUVs. So The Lorax has both a liberal agenda and a corporate agenda. Who would have ever thought that liberals like corporations? :P

I'm not really sure how to respond to this. Everything is a liberal plot and also lizard people and ancient aliens. Being a biased commentator isn't the same as being a journalist by the way. I wouldn't claim that an asshat like Keith Olbermann is a journalist either before you come after me for being a marxist socialist un american muslim antichrist.

Well,  if that doesn't answer you, it's probably because they carry the image of being an idiot.

You do realize how many Fox news teams there are, right? One for each channel, several channels for each region. Many of which are very mild tempered, one even had an atheist discussion (not bashing an actual discussion between famous atheists). Most just report the news in a bland and rather factual way, no commentary added. The one posted here is only one of many teams, and only a small handful of Fox news teams actually make the cut of being outrageous. Which if you compare it to all other syndicates is about average. That was my point, but nice that you think only a few reporters exist, a bit lost on perspective? Here's a clue, you are 1 in 8 billion (almost) ... so there are almost 7,999,999,999 other people in the world ... your city is a tiny fraction of the habitable land in the world, thousands of people die every minute world wide, that's a thousand times you, many more are born every minute. You are part of one species out of millions (I think billions now) and more are being discovered, I believe it was calculated at one per day but I'm not sure on that. Fox, the company, owns many stations, each station has many channels for each region, regions are split up by geographic significance, meaning there's also a few Fox stations in Australia. If you want to generalize, you'd say "Fox Cable Network", but saying "Fox News" you are including hundreds of new teams, and I'm being a bit conservative in that number considering Fox also own several of the other stations that are often viewed as "liberal" or "left winged" by righties, and wrongly "moderate" by lefties. So essentially, by saying "Fox News" is stupid, you are probably insulting the news source you prefer as well. Just a bit of food for thought.

hahahahahahahahahahahaha

Fuck Fox Cable News, Channel 207 on Dish Network!

Seriously though, there are very few journalists I actually like. Probably, my favorite journalist is Fareed Zakaria. Rather than talk about how Disney movies are ruining America, he interviewed General Dempsey on the subject of Syria, Iran, and the Pacific. How's that for a comparison?

I would argue fox news has brought down the intelligence level of other cable news such as cnn. Dont believe me, then go to your public lIbrary and take out one of the many documentaries on this phenomenon. Never before have there been so many clueless talking heads. Currently, every cable mews channel is as dumb and ignorant as fox news.

Do what i do, get rid of your television. 5 companies own over 90% of the worlds video media-including china and russia. The level of control and imfluence they have over peoples opinions is staggering.

While the other networks are getting worse, I fully disagree with the assertion that they have reached the level of awful that Fox News has.

Couldnt find the edit button, but i just wanted to add the fact you believe fareed is a journalist only proves my point. He is an opinion writer. Bill oreilly interviews world leaders as well-do you consider him to be a journalist?

That is easy to defeat. Fareed does not preach his opinion in a frightening manner. He only adds his own opinion at the beginning of his show and he explicitly states that is his own opinion. The subjects are very different as well, since Fareed Zakaria focuses on worldly issues that the mainstream media does not report on that well since they are fixated on Virginia's new abortion law and the Republican race. Fareed has also never talked about how Disney movies might be ruining America or anything similar. The interviews themselves do not have his opinion injected into the conversation unlike Bill O'Reilly who sees interviewing as either an inquisition or I agree with everything you say conversation. Bill O'Reilly's interviews are not that informative. I will also add Bill O'Reilly's skills as an interviewer are seriously lacking as the interviewee pulls a Richard Nixon on him or completely turns his questions around to make him look stupid. For example, listen to this interview. Notice his questions are based on preconceived notions indicating he has not done his research and notice near the end how Marilyn Manson completely turns Bill O'Reilly's question around making Bill O'Reilly look guilty. He is by definition a journalist, just not much of one.

Brian Williams is, I think, a good journalist as well, but beyond that, there is not really much out there I like. Unfortunately, Walter Cronkite is no longer with us.

So everyone is all wee-weed up over Fox News. All of the rest of the mainstream media is in the tank for the progressive Marxist. CBS got busted for fabricating news about President Bush. Dan Rather was fired in disgrace over it! CBS never recovered! PBS got busted for dealing with Muslim extremists! The CEO of PBS resigned! PBS fired its only minority comentator! NBC wound up firing Olbermann, ABC felt sorry for Anthony Weiner bacause her exposed his weiner to underage girls! The New York Times allowed Jason Blair to fabricate news about POWs!

The progressives (or should I say digressives) really want a piece of Fox News. They just can't stand the fact that they are the king of the hill in cable ratings! They just can't stand anyone that exposes Obama for the Marxist Communist that he is. Lou Dobbs is a financial analyst. If Dobbs lacked credibility he would not be working for Fox News!

Now Media Matters will continue with its attempt to discredit Fox News. Keep on trying Media Matters. You have been exposed by the Daily Caller!

In 1996, a void in America was filled. Cable and broadcast TV was a poluted cesspool of digressive liberalism. Fox News came about as Rupert Murdoch's answer to CNN Ted Turners Marxist propaganda machine!

To be fair, a few of the Fox news outlets have pretty much made up the news. At the very least they twisted facts or omitted large portions of the story and filled in the blanks with nothing but bumbling nonsense. They just have yet to break a law is all.

Don't forget to fact check redneck, because they did break the law. Remember the News of the World phone hacking scandal.

I know Murdoch closed down the operation in the UK. There was bad stuff going on like illegal wire taps etc. If you are refering to factcheck.org sometimes it is necessary to fact check them!
