Yvhuce Posted December 6, 2011 Share Posted December 6, 2011 PTSD isn't a genetic based condition. It's a reaction to trauma. Anyone can actually get it, not just soldiers. All it requires is that you have a traumatic event that causes severe stress afterwards. Someone can suffer from PTSD simply from something like losing a pet. It just depends on how you deal with stress. Link to comment
