messyman
http://gizmodo.com/5432936/the-japanese-snuggie-devolves-humans-into-giant-two+legged-tadpoles Some interesting commentary from the blog writer. Getting this thing off does not look easy. And it looks like you could trap someone in it by tying a knot in the drawstring. Link to comment
adriansurley
That is quite possibly even dumber looking than the snuggy lol Link to comment
Yvhuce
Huh... I was expecting something stupider... That just looks like a modified pair of coveralls... Link to comment
Snugglebug
And to think I first heard about THESE in a discussion on surviving zombie apocalypses...: Selk bags 1 Link to comment

Snugglebug
Oooohhhh!! I like those Selk bags. They are neat. I'd buy one of those for sure! Yeah, I'd imagine they'd appeal more to this crowd that they did to the would-be zombie fighters. *chuckle* 1 Link to comment
loopy
Yeah, I'd imagine they'd appeal more to this crowd that they did to the would-be zombie fighters. *chuckle* Do zombie fighters not want to be warm and snuggly? 1 Link to comment
babyvr6
Yeah, I'd imagine they'd appeal more to this crowd that they did to the would-be zombie fighters. *chuckle* Subaru said it best. They could have used a better vehicle, but the message is the same. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=rKBbgH2AU0Q And this response on youtube cracked me up I just found a way to make a homemade snuggie: 1) Get a bathrobe 2) Put it on*. *For optional more Snuggie-esque appearance, wear the bathrobe backwards. Lost_Little_Sarah
Those don't look much different than a mummy bag with legs. Link to comment
Snugglebug
Do zombie fighters not want to be warm and snuggly? Well, the arguments agains the Selk back (many of which I raised) were that it isn't really all that weather proof, it would be too easy for zombies to grab and it woud encumber movement too much, especially if wet (see the 'not weather proof' part). For what your average zombie apocalypse survivor would want from it (mainly warmth whilst on guard in really cold climates), a good skidoo suit would do the job much better. Link to comment
Benjamin
Seems like it would be difficult to get back up if you fell over in it. It's kind of cute, but not at all practical. Link to comment
Sophie ♥
LMAO! Thing is, if you fall in one of those, you're gonna have trouble getting back up. -Sophie Link to comment
Snugglebug
ZOMG I want to put one on and run around pretending I'm a Pac-Man ghost Just for you: Remi Gaillard doing stupid crap in the flavour of Pac-Man. Link to comment
Snugglebug
OTP: Subaru said it best. They could have used a better vehicle, but the message is the same. And this response on youtube cracked me up I found that one rather amusing, but this is still my favourite funny car ad of all time: ('Course, this one rates a close second: ) Link to comment

Snugglebug
Now I like this one instead. :-) http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/selk-bags/index.html They do seem less bulky than the original Selk bags, but still not good for zombie fighting. Link to comment

dmavn
I actually have 2 selk bags, one in baby blue and one that is a brownish grey. I lounge around in them every now and then, but I definitely can not sleep in them INSIDE the house. they are just way too warm for that. They sort of remind me of an infants pram suit.
