  1. Did have them in my cupboard for a while but got paranoid someone might open the door one day and scream , so for now I have a stash of varying brands along with powders/wipes/etc. in one of my bed's less-accessible base drawers and the rest in the attic. [derail] Dunno if anyone else does this but I have a little system of "breaking" the nappies in.. Keep a certain amount of each brand in a seperate box, loose so they can breathe naturally over the course of a month or so. End result is they're nice and fluffy by the time they get transferred to the drawer! [/derail]
  2. I loved building stuff as a kid and it's a tough choice between Lego and Meccano. Only in my early teen years did I get the chance to take my creations to the next level with battery powered motors and such. Great times.. where did they go eh

    Christmas 2010

I'd like something money can't buy - for all my friends and family to accept my being DL so I don't have to be so secretive about it all and have a chance to enjoy it more. Not being selfish by the way, just thought wishing EVERYONE would accept AB/DL was going a bit too far!
  4. Could it be that the more "computer literate" people of this world are generally on teh interwebz more often, and therefore are more likely to come into contact with or search for websites like this?
  5. nnniiicce Is that ObjectDock you're running too?
  6. That would be great! Even though the last time I went ice skating was about 18 years ago and spent 90% of the time on my back.. It was still loads of fun so it'd be good to give it a go again. As for FireBug, I've only ever been there at night and it's always packed so no idea how busy it is during the day. Most drinks taste awful there but like most places I'd imagine non-alcoholic drinks are OK. 5/10
  7. Thanks for today, I had a fantastic time! You were all great company and I'm not just saying that for the sake of it. Personally the venue was fine. A bit busy to start with but nobody bothered us so all's good. Here's to more monthly meets
  8. Centre Although, Center Parcs? What the..
  9. Yep, one of the many annoying disadvantages of secrets I would tell family and friends if only I could trust them not to flip out or take it the wrong way
  10. Even though it was released late 80s I remember that song well from the 90s. Great rendition
  11. If you act like you don't want something to be noticed, chances are it probably will be
  12. Don't forget the Scooby snacks
  13. Wow this brings back some memories.. Rugrats was great, I remember watching The Raccoons a lot, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (even though it was called Hero turtles here, they're still Ninja's to me), and there's loads of others but Roadrunner (meep meep!) was my favourite. I've never tried watching them since the late 90s though. As for modern day, Shaun the Sheep is amazing, I've always loved Aardman's creations. Can't think of any others because they all seem to be turning into the sort I hate with a passion - those shows with characters that don't speak properly, i.e. Teletubbies, Boohbah's.. some seriously screwball stuff!
  14. I've been lurking around these posts for ages.. Trying to build up the courage to come along. Pencil me in if you could please - I don't want to give anyone false hopes, but if I don't do this soon it could take forever!
  15. That's the one, thank you! First prize is... *drumroll* +1 or I could post [a picture of] some money if you'd prefer. My imagination had improved the video since first seeing it, but I had to briefly watch many far worse one's trying to find this.
  16. I sleep on my side too and my mouth is only closed until I fall asleep, so the dummy falls out within an hour. One time I woke up confused thinking a little dog was licking me, only to find a soggy dummy poking me in the neck. Maybe some superglue will help* * Disclaimer: I am not responsible for your actions after reading this post. It's safe to say it'll end in tears, and not one's of joy!
  17. Hi folks I've Googled and scoured YouTube for hours looking for this video, so in desperation I'm hoping someone here might know of it. Below is roughly what I remember from seeing it about 2 years ago, so my imagination may have altered some scenes: - Wasn't a pay video, I'm sure it was on YouTube. Probably a few minutes long. - Starts out this girl is at college/uni (18+ though), wearing normal but brightly coloured clothes, it fast becomes apparent she's different to the other people - just the way she looks (naive, innocent etc.). I think some other students make fun of her to start with. - A guy notices her and tries to have a chat, yet now it becomes apparent she's got the mind of a baby because she doesn't talk to him, but throughout the video she has babyish reactions and occasionally drools, along with twitching / constantly moving, staring into space a lot. - This guy acts like she's just a normal person, takes her places, restaurants etc. where she doesn't eat properly and so on. Can't remember if the guy has to feed her or not. - At the end, or near the end, the two of them in his car at night outside her place I suppose, goodnight kiss type of thing, but because her mind doesn't comprehend stuff like that she doesn't respond to his "moves", instead she has the "I'm filling my diaper" look. I think it was at that point the guy figured out she wasn't all the ticket. - Can't remember if there was a soundtrack, some things I recently heard reminded me of the video, like Lonely Island's Dreamgirl song. The lyrics lead me to think that's the one that was on it, but not 100% sure.
  18. Some years ago I had a bag of Molicare Super and I'd randomly find the hard way that some had tiny pinholes in the backing - they were fun times! On the flipside there's the positive mass production glitches, like waferless KitKats (yum!) and over-flavoured crisps/chips
  19. Those @£$%^&* things are a right pain! It's probably down to whoever sets them up for the store doesn't do it properly.. Once one popped a dialog up asking to confirm my age for weed killer, yet 2 items before had let me scan a heavy duty saw and said nothing? Oh I see, so a kid or teenager can rampage wielding a saw but they're not allowed to spray weed killer If they'd just set them up properly.. [/rant] *walks away mumbling*
  20. +1 .. also they feel like they contain 80% cardboard now Regardless of nappy brand, I'd like one big velcro tab on each side, rounded at the corners so they didn't dig in to your belly - just like the Huggies I used to get but adult size
  21. Around 150 at the moment comprising of Cuddlz, Tena, Abena and Lille. I try to start restocking when the count hits around 50, at that point the most I'll have is probably 300 in total. Wow if I had 1000's I wouldn't be able to stop myself spreading loads of them onto my bed and making angel wings
  22. Some nice & well-kept desktops here! I rarely change backgrounds; when I do it's usually something I created/shot, like this one showing the phases of the moon during a lunar eclipse on 3rd March 2007. ..and I like games
  23. Whether they're inside the nappy or stuffed between the outer backing, I usually use Lille Booster pads, because they're really soft and hold a surprising amount. Always make a few careful cuts in the backing of stuffers though - if you don't they're almost useless. The easiest way I found was to loosen the Cuddlz nappy up first, just hold it open and twist the padded area around a bit. Then put it shiny side up, and pinch the backing carefully at the waistline, holding the underneath so you can seperate them a bit - I find they open quite easily. After that it's just a case of sliding the stuffer down. If you do use a Lille booster, makes it easier to trim the sides first with scissors to take the inch-wide wings/margin material off. All this is far better explained in this video though (credit due to Loopy for finding that video before me, and whoever found it before that, and so on, not forgetting the guy who made it of course )
  24. Amazing Your room brings little tears to my eyes .. in a good way though! Hopefully at some point in the future I'll be able to tell my friends & relatives about what I'm into, and then I'll be able to do a room up.
