I’m super interested in going but…

    1) was there going to be the online registration going up soon?
like I said, super interested in going but on the other hand I’m kind of wondering how serious you all are to make this happen.
    2) how many people have signed up and paid?
    3) If I’m coming for an unknown number of nights and want to pay the $25 per night, do I need to pay ahead of time?

    cheers

I'd also like to know the above.

  2. The Bible was written thousands of years ago based on stories that were part of oral tradition for far longer.  There may have been a specific context for certain verses in its original time and place that is no longer true today.  For example some historians say that the Bible's condemnation of LBGTQ people was because in that era there was no or minimal knowledge/prevention of STDs and gay sex would spread them more quickly than M/F sex.  That might also be why the Bible insists on only one partner, more partners would have meant more risk of infection.

Regarding free will specifically, that is a question that many religions have grappled with and I don't think there's any clear answer.

  3. I suspect a big part of this is with the US entering a new 5 year plan, there's a lot of emphasis on inhibiting certain obscure interests which can't be a good sign.

For those that didn't know, the US has 5 year plans for national development that start on years ending in 4 and 9 (ie, 1999, 2004, etc).  These have been more or less a thing since World War 2 but are rarely publicized.  Fit any substatial national investments or objectives to that timeframe and you'll see a pattern.

  4. Vintage style audio sysyems are actually fairly popular nowadays: https://www.ebay.com/itm/355158901938?chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-213727-13078-0&mkcid=2&itemid=355158901938&targetid=4580496737259427&device=m&mktype=&googleloc=&poi=&campaignid=418233788&mkgroupid=1230353745471221&rlsatarget=pla-4580496737259427&abcId=9300542&merchantid=51291&msclkid=a45747793876184f1a8022252131e839

On a side note, it's funny how the above item is $29.99 on ebay but $70+ on Walmart's website.  Kind of like how cable TV and streaming services are both generally delivered via a coax cable but one's more 'expensive' than the other.

Instagram? Just add water anda grandmother appears?

With the amount of bots they have that might as well be true.  Just replace water with a few data points and you have the idea.

Real world conversation is the best form of networking in my opinion.

i have been always just never been much help they try and put me on like 20 pills a day

Mental health has never been a priority in the US.  Therapists are generally not kink friendly and often a major time investment even if you use teletherapy.

Have you looked on sites like Fetlife or meetup.com?  Those might help with finding social opportunities.

    We have tax on EVERYTHING.

    • We get taxed on our income. (Federal and state both, and in some states - locality as well)
    • We get taxed on the goods we purchase (I'd say the average is around 6% - some states is more (or way more), some states less and very few not at all).  And if you go to a restaurant in many cities, be prepared to pay not only a sales tax, but an additional tax on top of that.
    • We get taxed on the land we own (and more when there are structures on that land).
    • We get taxed on the fuel we use to get to work
    • And one of the biggest insults.... WE GET TAXED ON TAX REFUNDS!

I've never heard of a tax on tax refunds.

Get int touch with a Mental Health pro fast.

As I said before, I'm already seeing one.  All this person does is follow some kind of flowchart to determine what they're supposed to say.  Clearly my mental health is not a priority for them.

The fact that you are not identifying the "what" and "why" is disturbinghg.

    If you need specifics:

    1. Work - scheduling fuckups on management's end that management/HR cast a blind eye on.

    2. Family - rather complicated and too long to explain here.

    3. lots of other examples, if I go on for pages and pages I'm not sure if it will make anything clearer.  Hopefully this makes the context here less 'disturbinghg'

I do however hold on to my faith and yes I see you don’t believe and while that’s ok I would hope you find someone to talk to and realize life is a gift

I honestly don't mean to be offensive but for me if I hadn't left the church when I did, I probably would have called it quits years ago.  I'm not sure which denomination you follow but most have a long list of people/attributes considered 'unacceptable'.  I'm not saying this describes you, but most Christians are known to currently or historically endorse some pretty hateful teachings.  I personally do not wish to affiliate with such.

  9. I'm giving myself one week.  If I can't have it figured out by then I'm calling it quits on life.  Not joking.  I don't think I need to explain why.  Our society has too many problems and we all know what they are.  Wittle Webslinger recently posted about one and the fact that he changes his name whenever people lose his trust points to another. (BabySpiderBoy 95, Little Spider, Spidey Boy, amoung others are previous usernames he's had on this site.  And anyone with good detective skills can infer as to why.)  DD admins, if I don't make it, keep any posts that seem worthwile and delete the rest or manage in whatever way seems reasonable.  I'm not going to comb through 5+ years worth of posts at this point.

Do not simply offer copy/paste advice like "You can make it" or "Things will get better".  Clearly the fact that I'm posting this should indicate those aren't true.

Do not insist that I need a mental health professional.  I already have one and they're a joke.  Others I call won't answer or are perpetually "not accepting new clients" without offering to add me to their waitlist.

Do not lecture me on religion.  Religious figures the world over have invented some form of "hell" to ensure they stay in power.

What I do seek is reasonable, actionable advice without hidden biases.  Preconcieved biases are part of the problem and not the solution and therefore will not help this situation.  If reading this distresses you, I apologize.

Edit: Doing a lot better now, was able to get some help.

Is there a Door Dash, Postmates or other app where you could order a nanny to come change your diaper when needed?

I doubt anyone would ever bother with such an app.  The number of ways that could blow up before it's launched (privacy issues, legal issues, far-right politicians/cops, and so on) would deter anyone let alone finding an adquate market.  Especially in the current political climate in many countries.

Cause you would need black to print photos?

For darker colors or if printing black & white.  Some photographers will still use black & white photos as a way of adding contrast to their work or for other effects.
