  1. I'm not from the north west but come on the mighty pool next week! Let's do it again!
  2. Martin Cloons (spelling?) said in an interview I remember many years ago that he was "sort of obessed with nappies and things", I don't remember much more than that I was pretty young! but I remember that sticking in my mind
  3. No it's really easy to find them, so much easier than the UK, almost all of the supermarkets have some & alot of street shops!
  4. yeah the quilted channels are cool! they have alot of different ones, mine had like fruit on the landing zone and was promoting keeping active when you're older How is your mandarin progressing Bboy? My bad, I wasn't thinking properly when you said Beijing lol for some reason I was just thinking it was humid like the south is but it gets really cold up there!! How long are you staying for?
  5. I found that too. They don't seem to lock wetness away so well, maybe it's the humidity though. What are you working as over there? teaching english? if you don't mind me asking that is
  6. they'll do the job i/we want it to do. my gf prefers baby ones. I do know what you mean though, if I had more privacy I'd buy the bambino adult ones cause they do look ace however I'm still living at home and saving some money for moving later on. Plus I find adult ones hard to dispose of, since there's usually always someone in my house when I'm in and I work 9-5 mon-fri I don't get time to do it in secret really, whereas baby ones are tiny and can be easily hidden. I understand what you're saying but for now baby one's will do what i require so all is good
  7. I've had some pampers 6 before and they've not leaked, perhaps my bladder wasn't full to the max. I'm not planning on wearing out and about really it's just for a bit of home comfort
  8. [edit] ignore this bit the english name for them is Elder Love. Elder love is the name of some different ones sorry my bad [/edit] doesn't help much but it's something! Not sure where to buy from though
  9. actually they work reasonably well if you wear them under some tight underwear. I know they won't fit like an adult nappy but they still hold a wetting or 2, I wasn't planning on messing in them so they work fine for me. I was just wondering what people's impressions of them were that's all
  10. I've been reading the reviews on the site, and people seemed to think huggies were bigger. I've had babydry 6 before and they didn't quite fit, still comfortable though. What're your thoughts on huggies? Is the size considerably better than pampers? 'cause the smell of pampers is great! I've not tried them, I'm thinking of getting some pull-ups large size as people said they stretch a fair bit & some superflex large. saying this my fellow uk friends asda have a sale on for huggies drynites at half price £2.49 or something, but I used to work there so I can't go buying them damn!
  11. haha indeed, my company has one, although it's getting a bit old now! Java...java....java that not so nice language that most people I know don't like! me included mostly because when we were learning it; it was confusing but I'd like to go back now and try again I'm sure I could get it! I'd like to get into web design but all of my 3rd year projects were application programs in vc++ so I have a preference for that! anyway hope you're enjoying the site!
  12. welcome!! I see you're a fellow computer-er! what sort of coding do you do? I wish I could score a coding job but I just graduated so I'm doing tech support at the moment!
  13. I have no idea which is the most popular one, but I was in the south (Zhongshan to be precise) and my gf just nipped into a local supermarket to get some and came out with those, they were a dark blue package, with Dr. P written across it, I think the P was red but don't hold me to it!! the one's I think are the heart ones are in a white package, I never saw them close up, but there was a heart on the front haha so I assume that they're the infamous ones! Where abouts is your gf? I might be moving to China too in the future, depending on jobs and things!
  14. Yeah you can buy them in the supermarket in China, they're alot more readily available than in England. Dr P ones are quite common, I had some, although they weren't the one's with the hearts on. I'm sure you can get them though I saw packets like them
