Drag strips and race facilities are being closed down, the land they are on is being sold off what was one worthless land outside city and town limits is becoming valuable real-estate for developers. Development and rising insurance costs are putting large and small family tracks out of business. If there is nowhere to race then the racers take to the interstate, usually late night, when traffic is light. No one is stepping up to give the racers a place to run their cars like Wally Parks did in the early days. I raced the streets and I raced on simi-pro NHRA race tracks in the 60's and 70's, guys racing today are doing the same thing we did, if they do not have a place nearby to race then they take to the streets.

I'n not one for watching my movies on small screens, I prefer large movie like screens. Just before the pandemic I bought a 75" 4K, and moved my 55" into the bedroom. The big set was worth every cent I paid for it, I wouldn't change a thing about it.

I gave up on TV like television shows years ago, I prefer amazon and youtube movies for my entertainment.

I grew up with 3 TV stations until PBS came on the air then we had a whole 4 with nothing on it. I did have multi-color shag in my bedroom, and 4 fuzzy stations to watch until the weather change then they got worse. To get around TV problems, I entertained myself more often, wearing footed PJ's.

I didn't know you were dealing with a warranty issue, if you are check your states lemon laws, I doubt it will cost you anything to file. In Pa if you take a new or used car back more than 4 times for the same problem(under warranty) it qualifies as a lemon, the dealer must buy the car back for the purchase price, what you paid for tax and tags. If this was an ongoing problem since you had the car by all means try for the lemon law. When you said you had a jeep I thought you were speaking of a wrangler, like a 07 to 22, those little jeeps are much worse for problems, the renegade are the dodge omni/plymouth horizon of today. That renegade will give you nothing but trouble as long as you own it, do your best to dump it, you are better off with something older that is way more reliable.

Exactly, Fiat now Stellantis, plus Chrysler corp. cars have always been known for screwed up electrical systems going back years.

The modern jeeps are known for these types of electrical problems, there are a few computers on these jeeps, one controls the engine, the other controls the body, and there is another for the transmission where the short is who knows. I would sooner spend 20 bucks, then have to open the hood twist the knob before you use the jeep but you will know the battery is going to start the jeep, rather than loading parts cannon then firing it at the jeep. If my idea does not work your out 20 bucks, if you change the body computer and you have the same short somewhere else, its going to take out the battery again, now your out for the computer and labor and a new battery again.

About 6 inches of snow yesterday then a hard freeze with high winds last night near zero, it didn't get much over 25 today. The bright side is everyday this week its going to get warm enough to melt the snow that plus the higher angle of the sun makes snow go away fast. When the winter is gone I won't miss it.
