Actually I just had a experience two days ago. I had to have an incision made on my scalp due to a hair follicle gone crazy leading to an infection. My wife goes with me to docs, but I do have to wear big boy pants when at the docs. The doctor was treating my wound and was giving my wife instructions. Well she was telling her remember when he was a baby and you had a little squeezer for his ears, you could use one of those to clean the wound. My wife said well I wasn't around him at that time but I know what you mean. The lady doctor said I'm sorry I thought you were his mother. She said you baby him so much. The doc looked at me and said she takes good care of you and must really love you. So of course my wife took all of it as a compliment. I have no idea what the doc saw that would make her think that. All I recall my wife doing during our couple of visits is rubbing my leg or holding my hand during the procedures. But I was never in babyish clothing or diapers. It could had been my wife speaking for me at times also, she tends to want to be the one talking to the doc. The previous visit the doc told my wife she should take me for an ice cream. Anyhow the doc is a younger gal just getting over a divorce with a controlling middle eastern man so she may just be in tune with relationships as she did confide in us a bit of her situation which we were sympathetic to. I will certainly be going back to see her again. Now I'm sure why I prefer a woman doctor they have that intuition and sensitivity.

I do find this type of debate interesting. The thing that really intrigues me when it comes to someone exposing some element of an/DL in public, in the way some abdl react. They take it as a personal attack or reflection upon how they are viewed. Majority of the time this type of reaction comes from someone who isn't out of the closet so to speak. This attitude that others are ruining things for their chance to somehow be accepted by the general public. What do they care if they never come out or share some part of their abdl with others. Seems as if some people have some sort of belief that if abdl kept everything secretly somehow the public would be accepting of us. I'm not sure if I'm being clear in expressing what I'm saying here. Point being the way to acceptance is paved by those willing to step up and put themselves out there at times. I believe that's what gay pride is about exposure to the public seeking acceptance. Obviously there is a place and time for everything. But I really am not seeing any harm in what defender did. Its a thrill seeking venture, but harmless. In a way its a step toward being OK with who you are and having fun with it at the same time.

I wonder what happened to all the hype walmart was getting. I read they made a announcement they would be manufacturing their own items here in the states. Starting with linens from a factory in Tennessee. Its nice to hear but probably over stated in exactly how much of their merchandise would. Be made here by their own factories. I personally wouldn't mind paying more for USA made items. Knowing someone here has a job. Trade is imbalanced big time, import fees should be imposed. I don't understand when people say stuff like this in public hinders acceptance. How does anyone become accepted without coming out? Because these guys come out and actually enjoy themselves that somehow ruins someone else's chance of what hiding at home? There are certainly a time and place which are better than others but I see no issue here. I've done this many times in vegas and seen it at Gay pride. My bag of 10 Large cost me 40.00 Large hahha. I like them the plastic has that smoothness similar to the old attends. They are medium crinkly, and probably as absorbant as a bambino teddy. I also tried the mediums which barely fit me on a 40inch waist. All these diaper companies over state the fit now' these are supposedly up to 45 in in a medium. I say not a chance. I went through this also about 6 months ago. Had him for 17 years. Probably waited about 6 months longer than I should had. Still can't seem to get it out of my mind, feel guilty in a way because he always counted on me to protect him and in a way felt I'd betrayed him. I had always hoped he would just pass peacefully in the night. Im glad though that I insisted on staying and being there to hold him and tell him I love him, so he was less scared. I thought this was funny. This is marketed as a baby diaper stuffer. But if you look at the item picture it shows a adult diaper on the package. Wonder if that was a cut/paste oops or done intentionally. I havent gotten anything. And im thinking it doesnt take a week to go from las vegas to las vegas which is where i live. I would recommend people not place any orders until others get their items. I went to their site and entered my order info fir tracking infornation, it doesnt work just goes back to the original screen. Not looking good so far. It's a matter of wanting to be accepted so much that you let fantasy get in the way of reality. I know where he is coming from, not that I think he's being reasonable to any extent. It doesn't make me want to bash him really, just in way feel compassion understanding he needs help. Someone to have that level of expectations from outsiders really needs help as they have lost grip of their lives, obviously he's had a hard time coping. I know these are quite popular with most people. But I didn't like them, from a ab perspective I thought the green color was rather institutional looking. The fit for me was so so. Far as the diaper feel, I thought it was sort of stiff and being thick as it is that made moving around in them not so comfortable. If I want a diaper like this I'd go for a abena or molicare. Just wasn't something I'd buy for regular use, I prefer something has more of a conforming fit wraps and moves with me instead of feeling like I am wearing a pound of saw dust in my drawers haha. I was thinking of trying the dekor Xl also. Have a standard can right now, don't care to mich about the Xl looking like a diaper pail. Thats kind of why I want one make it a bit more babyish. Maybe im missing something. How are you planning on becoming incontinent? Im a bit out of touch on this. I imagine some sort of surgery done by a doctor, though I find that scarey as any good doctor wouldnt do that. I had read years ago of someone that went to mexico to have it done. My understanding is it takess years of 24/7 diapering to lose control permanently. I would think your decision doesnt need to be made overnight. Try the 24/7 thing for a couple months and see how it goes. I think you will find u enjoy the ability to choose when to wear diapers. I am going to be wearing much more than I have in years past due to a lifestyle change im making. So I will be 24/7 for awhile just to see how other half lives. Im interested to see what the effect will be in next couple months.

Im also in jasons boat. I agree they could have a higher rise. Most other mediums from other makers fit me better than a bambino would, I prefer bambino brand over others for plastic feel, thickness, absorbancy. When they changed over their line the fit changed. Large is way to big mediums are right on the edge of fitting for me. Funny my mommy just put a bambino classico on me, it just popped tape as im typing. The tape did not rip, more of a slowly slip and pop sound. Either way I like bambino and am glad they are hear for us.

I only get crazy about once a year with "outing" myself. I one day may regret it as someone I know may come across a photo of mine. I have probably had over 1000 photo's taken of me over the last 3 years by all kinds of people. For the most part I have had good experiences with only a handlful of times I have been harrased for going out. But the pleasure and joy I have gotten from all the good experience totally out ways and makes it all worth while. Im consider myself to be a wanna be compared to others. If it were not for halloween I would probably never get the guts or opportunity to go out. Others that go all out like riley and heidi lynn. They set the bar way higher than I will ever reach.

Old thread but I have the same question. I was watching a AB video recently and they used these as stuffers. Anyone tried this before? Im guessing you just poke holes in the back sheet. It does look thick.

Duck you should be a diaper salesman. You got me all worked up in a xplus frenzy and I ordered some mediums. Im guessing they will be snug on me like the rest of the bambino menium line now . But larges are way outta my league. 44" mediumthey need to stop buying those dollar store measuring tapes ha!

square_duck im in the same situation as you are. The mediums for me tape towards the sides rather than in the front.They fit well in the bottom with no gap in the in the legs, but seem to short length wise. The larges I feel like im swimming in, droopy bottom and a gap at the back legs. Im a 40 inch waist. I love everything else about the new bambinos, plastic feel, absorbancy, feel of the lining etc. Since this sizing change im still a medium but they dont fit like they used to. Im bummed to say the least. Im not sure if its me or what but the teddy sample I received in medium seemed to fit a bit better so I thought. Kind of hard to tell when you get one in a sample pack. Does anyone else think there is a difference in sizing between the teddies, bells, and bianco. I didnt notice much difference with the bells and bianco, but the teddy did seem a bit more roomy.

I have been looking at the dekor xl. My current pail is much like the ones talked about here just a walmart type kitchen trash can. I noticed after awhile the pail absorbs the odors in the plastic itself. So even when empty it smells of a really old wet diaper. I would like to try the dekor, its just a bit expensive. But it looks like it would probably contain the odors even after opening it to pitch in a dirty diaper. Mine now smells up the bathroom for a short time after opening the lid since its just a regular trash can.

I have been using these for last two weeks or so. I find the mediums to fit me well. I like the fact that they are not real crinkley and can be worn under clothing without to much worry of them being to loud. They make for a reasonably discreet diaper. They are not very absorbant, so I use a quadro bambino stuffer. With the stuffer it holds well, and I have had no leaks. They do tend to droop in the drawer on me after wearing awhile. Get a small gap right where mommy would run her finger in the back to check your bottom for wetness. So I readjust them for a better fit. Thats the whole benefit to these, the single velcro tape is fantastic. I wish other diaper makers would use this fastening system. The tapes hold well and can be moved anytime without worry of them not refastening. Im gonna say good job ABU on these. Id love to see a plastic version of this with a velcro tape.
