Nope, they're not that old, those are the really old ones from the mid/late 90s, these are the ones where they put the logo on the tapes but before the major redesign in 2003

After reading some of the really well written and sometimes hysterical reviews about these things, I wondered if anyone here has ever eaten them in order to force uncontrollable messing?

You see the plastic at first is cold and stiff, however after a while the plastic seems to warm up from your bodies skin heat and the plastic begins to soften thus not making as much noise. Don't get me wrong they are still by far the LOUDEST Diaper out there. So like I mentioned above here is that picture of me in my Attends
Dry Comfort is actually louder then the new Attends. They suck though, so if you do want to see for yourself how loud they are, try to get a free sample and not a whole bag.

whats the deal with attends 10 "classic" their plastic backed, but have 2 instead of 3 tapes? i bought some off ebay today, it said their from '04 jus wondering if anyone knows more about them. heres a pic of them 20 bux for 24 diapers ain't bad.
From what I've read, those are the cheaper type they make for nursing homes and other institutions (Hospitals, Hospice, etc).
Not sure why they put "Classic" in the name as they don't come anywhere close to the older P&G style.

Granted it didn't close, instead it was turned into a nursery for yucky ugly slimy toads and their tadpoles. Frm now on you can't have coffee with milk, but only tadpolejuice and french toa(d)st with ham and cheese

Of course they can never be too thick, but another idea might be for them to come in Blue and Pink versions like the disposables from the late 80s / early 90s.

I've got Mer de Noms which was pretty good, but I haven't heard any of their new stuff since, save for that one track "Passive" that was featured in the movie Constantine.

I like the noise
Out of everything I've tried, I'd say Dry Comfort is the friggin' noisiest diaper I ever wore. But they suck leak wise so I stick with Attends /w Waistband which is the second noisiest diaper (IMO).
I've found a fairly tight pair of jeans does an excellent job muting the noise when out in public.
