I have all over neuropathy it comes and go in different places throughout my body and I have been urinary incontinent because of it but recently my bowels have been playing up and I don't always know that I need to go number 2.

having to hide the stuff has its benefits if you don't have to hide it then you end up with too much stuff (hands up I'm guilty) and couldn't hide it anywhere should you have to

I used to have coin meters for gas and electric so the landlord would come round to empty them without calling first which created a problem if I had freshly laundered dress's and stuff waiting to be folded and put away or a clothes horse in the hallway with cloth nappies drying, ended up with me making a quick tour of the apartment making sure nothing was on show before answering any knock at the door.

its a catch 22 if you have your own place you don't have to hide them but I now have so much LG stuff and nappies that it would take me a week to hide it if I needed to

just out of curiosity when you say dresses like a girl. how? and if your mum tolerates that maybe you and BF just sit her down and explain the whole thing give her the full details, you never know she might be OK even if she says not under my roof though, it might take some of the pressure off the situation

Im still getting plastic back ones through the NHS so maybe things have changed

jeeeze I knew the daily mail was bad but I didn't realise how bad till I saw that list made me giggle when I saw not having kids as a risk right above having kids....damned if you do damned if you dont

I have had an IBS type problem (I say it like that because I have never had it diagnosed) and its the constant up and downs that get me one day you have a normal day next day your stuck to the toilet all day. I recently had a relapse with my disability condition (nerve related) which has caused me to experience less and less feelings of needing to go so bad days are a lot worse then ever and even good days are resembling the bad days of old.

the grown up common sense answer would be stop wearing diapers till your in a much more private situation. if your BF wear 24/7 through want rather then need and wont stop even to prevent you getting into trouble then maybe you need to ask why and is it more of a problem then a lifestyle choice. I reckon 99% of AB/DL's have had to at some point curb their wearing to prevent problems arising the silver lining is always when your in your own place you can do your own thing. plan B though is find some other place to get rid of them then your own bin

sorry not buying it............you almost had me till you brought your real mum into the picture and her being alright with to the point of you wearing around her house

years ago I remember it being commonplace in the summer to go to the beach and there would be lots of kids in just a nappy or a nappy and t-shirt even most other places you'd go on a family day out it wouldn't be uncommon when the sun was shining to see kids in just a nappy, even playing in a friends garden their little brother or sister might be there in just a nappy. I saw this the other day for the first time in a lot years and the child was obviously with its grandparents who would have been parents the same time when it was commonplace.

I think the anti diapering policy have come about by the overuse of them in hospitals putting old people in a diaper just because their old etc here in the UK there have several incidents of old people going in continent and coming out in diapers because that was the go to toilet option instead of nurses taking them to the toilet etc

it would be great right up till you accidentally get to close to the scanner at the supermarket checkout and diaper change required flashes up on the screen for everyone to see, imagine that the checkout operator gets on the tannoy 'DIAPER CHANGE TILL

you should ask yourself how your going to feel if you confront him and he denies it all and he outs you as his weird diaper wearing brother to everyone in order to deflect attention away from himself (not saying it would happen but it might)

Shernass, yeah make fun of someone for something that they might be struggling with and feeling bad about that makes so much sense

when someone is 'representing the community' in the way some of these people have unless they have been elected to do so or asked me personally to speak on my behalf

I have been waking up messy about 3-4 time a week for the last 4 months, at one point I decided to use my nappies for everything but stopped that some time ago and my nighttime soiling now is medical not through choice I haven't admitted it to anyone not even my doctor although lots of people know about my urinary incontinence but something about involuntary messing makes it more embarrassing.
