  1. You got those on a cruise ship? I have to take my wife on a cruise now! I'm curious to know what those are as well...look comfy. I had to throw in my useless two cents worth...hopefully someone knows.
  2. This is what I found so far..... http://www.unicharm.co.jp/english/corp/products/03.html http://cgi.ebay.com/Lifree-adult-incontinence-Diapers-Brief-PANTS-L-HOLD_W0QQitemZ310120223668QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item48349b13b4&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 Very funny ad..... interesting, thought I'd share.
  3. Here's the thing I found out. I ordered some samples from I think Uniquewellness.com, they are the cheapest place to get samples. I was looking on acecool the other day, noticed he said they were redesigned. The samples I got were, I think, the new design. They were different than the pics I had seen. They have the lines down the middle like old attends. Here's my take, they remind me somewhat of European Tena Slip Maxi's in the sense that the plastic is similar, they leak out of the plastic, like little pinholes, and they do absorb to about 3 or 4 times the original thickness. The plastic is...WEAK! As it got wet and full the tape ripped the plastic and the plastic split as it "grew". Very disappointing because the absorption is great and I like how they fit. According to acecool, they are supposed to be stronger and such....a new and improved design. Maybe I got a bad batch, I don't know, I'm afraid to spend the money to find out. I love trying new diapers, but I know that Secure/Bambino works very well.
  4. Next week...or maybe even tomorrow, it'll be a different toon.... haha!
  5. Shipping may be outlandish, but it would be duty free, its under the max $$ amount allowed by customs and all you would have to say is that it's for personal use or personal effects which is true. I am curious to know how much shipping would be though.
  6. Call and complain all you want. The fedex guy was not lazy...being that it is sent to your house it went fedex HOME DELIVERY which runs TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.... They do this to try and catch people at home on Saturday for packages that require a DIRECT signature computers and valuables. So the LAZY fedex guy you are bashing was just doing his job!
  7. diaperbook is back.... www.diaperbook.net YES!!! I thought I would share for those who don't know....
  8. yes...diaperworld.org and its other site diaperbook.com These sites were great for looking up diaper information. I wish the information on those sites could be found to put on this site. So extremely helpful. As to the diaper in question, I agree that it looks like the kendall lille supreme.
  9. I just went on there website...still open for business, you can even order a sample. It did elude to the s/m size being on back order due to popular demand. It also looks like several websites still carry them as well.
  10. I agree with the previous post. Out of curiosity though... what size are you trying to squeeze into? I am 6'3" and weigh about 215 lbs... 38" or so waist and I have found that the XL size is the best for fitting higher up on my back. They are about 1-2 inches longer overall than the larges. Heck...the old plastic XL Abena x-plus would practically go up to my arm pits (grossly exaggerated) I've read many of your posts where you complain about the fit and I cannot remember what size you said you were trying to wear. But anyhow...I agree, site hits doesn't translate into sales. It can help I'm sure, most of the recent activity to that site probably has to do with their new scented diapers anyhow. Anyways, what size do you wear?
  11. the differences are absorbency and the plus does NOT have waistbands. The last shipment of x-plus I received (about 2 weeks ago) had a redesigned wetness indicator (almost non-existent) front and rear waistbands, very nice, and the absorbency blows my mind. It just seems to keep absorbing and absorbing. As far as size goes, if you are a 36" waist, I would get at least a large size. I like the x-l because I am tall and about a 38" waist. The x-l is a little longer and of course accommodates a bigger waist. I just depends on what you like. I personally like the option of more room in my diaper.
  12. xpmedical.com sells them. They were out of stock last time I checked. If you google mega careline you'll find other suppliers. Just like dry24/7, they come in blue for medium, and purplish color for large. I would guess the same company makes them, I compared, everything is the same except for the shade of purple. Mega careline is a lighter purple than 24/7 if I remember correctly. Hope this helps!
  13. I've ordered a couple times from xp...don't get any junk emails and such. Always in plain box. About Fedex...I happen to work for them, when you get your tracking number, which xp should be able to give you one, I can't remember if they email it to you, you can have a stop comment added (special delivery instructions) by calling customer service at 1-800-GOFEDEX and when the automation voice starts just say representative. You can have the package held at a terminal near you. The only store that might take it is Kinko's (now Fedex Office) but unless you rent a box from them, I don't know if this is possible. I believe you can search terminal and authorized shipper locations from the fedex website.... www.fedex.com I just looked it up.... under the "ship" icon click on the "find locations" icon and follow the instructions... Hope this helps!
  14. I work for a major delivery company and honestly, we do not care as to what's in the box anyhow. Most of the time whats actually in the box doesn't match what the box says anyhow. People "recycle" boxes daily. Fedex gets UPS or USPS boxes and visa versa. Usually we are just happy to get rid of the box! If we don't get it delivered that day we just see it again tomorrow along with the other 200-300 or more boxes added to what we didn't get delivered. Honestly, we DON'T care! The only time we care is when its paint or something and it busts open in our trucks. THAT SUCKS! As far as what he said, yeah, its probably just something they say....I highly doubt it was implying anything. Drivers have to be careful about what they do or say. We can loose our jobs for the most stupid things, so most drivers do not take the chance. As far as signature required, that suprised me. Mine were left for me. I didn't have to sign. It might depend on the area you live, or whether or not it's an apartment complex. Unless the box says "signature required" usually it gets left, unless the driver feels it might be stolen....since we really DON'T have a clue whats in the box. That's always my favorite question of the day "what am I getting?" I'd like to say how the hell would I know! Yeah, these are comfortable diapers and a very good value at $75 per case. They absorb very well, and I have had no troubles with tearing or tapes popping off. They're a change and fun, no pun intended! Hope this long insight helped someone!
  15. I received my samples rather quickly. Less than a week actually, and that's to the midwest. I was curious as to how much they were like mega careline since they looked almost identical. I compared the two, the only differences in the larges was the tint of purple in the plastic and the blue strip in the center. I have not seen how they absorb yet, but mega careline absorbs pretty well. I agree that they should put more "pulp" up front then they would give abena a run for their money. They do stay taped, fit great, and are comfortable. I wore one all night and the tapes didn't pop off and the plastic didn't tear. Thats more than I can say for the last abena x-plus (tapes pop off) and the last molicare super (back plastic tore) that I wore all night. They do seem overall like a promising good diaper. At $100 for 72 that comes out to be about $1.38/diaper. Well, thats my two cents worth. Hope it helps.
  16. I tried them when they first came out on ebay. They do not absorb very well at all. The tapes are fantastic, they stick and won't let go. Very thin, sizes run huge. Overall, expecting better based on what they "advertise" but very disappointed.
  17. I would love to order some of these, but I cannot get past step one of three of the checkout process. After the shipping charts, at the bottom of the page it says continue to step two with no link to continue to step two. This area of the page is blank. I emailed them early this morning, but have not heard back yet. I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue or could enlighten me on what I may be doing wrong. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
  18. No Fedex does not require a signature on a residencial delivery. The only time it requires one for a residencial delivery is if it's required by the shipper (alcohol, med, computer stuff, or any other high $$ or high claim item).
  19. I was just curious as to whether or not their are other ab/dl persons in the area. Give a shout, I just want to know I'm not alone in this cold frigid town! Take care all.
