  1. Yeah, something tells me Stacy would need some heavier ordnance to seriously harm an Amazon, not some "piddly" 9mm. ...How effective against Amazons would a couple of the Halo-verse's overpowered (to deal with 8-foot-tall, super-strong, energy-shielded & power-armored aliens) guns be - the M6 pistol with its 12.7x40mm armor-piercing exploding rounds, or the M90 shotgun with its 8-guage magnum buckshot?
  2. Hmm, now I have an idea where somebody in-universe makes the same mistake I did (thinking the Little/In-Betweener cut-off point is 5 feet, not 6) only to learn that hard way about their mistake once they cross over - like, say, a girl who's 5'6" who makes the trip but then has to be told that sorry, but you were misinformed, and you are in fact a Little here, not an IB, now let's get you outta those grown-up clothes and into a nice, comfy diapie...
  3. Hmm, minor thing: Stacey described her original size, what it was in "our" world, as In-Betweener-sized. Yet I thought people of our size were considered Littles.
  4. So... Is Dean Sanders giving anyone else a Dolores Umbridge vibe?
  5. IIRC it's kinda bad forum etiquette to multi-post like this. Just merge them all into one single post and Edit/add to it as you move along, break the different comments/posts up with rows of dashes or something (--------)
  6. ...Hey, wait a second. Something just hit me. I always thought that in the Diaper Dimension, "In-Betweeners" were, well, us - adult women averaging about 5'3" or 4", adult men about 5'10" or 11", a few outliers like people around 6'3" or so... But in a previous update, you had a guy who's 5'11" be considered a Little.
  7. Well, there was that asshole bigot Amazon guy in the first section...
  8. So BabySofia, how do you think the people of the Diaper Dimension (all three races) reacted when it was first discovered and announced that there was a whole other world, a world where all humanity are In-Betweeners without any Littles or Amazons? And what do you think the DD denizens thought of some of our world's history - the World Wars, the Civil Rights Movement (and, for that matter, the fact that without other sub-species to discriminate against we resorted to doing it to ethnic 'races' instead), the Cold War... Also, can you give us a vague estimate of when the next chapter might come out? Or do you not really have any idea when that might be yet? I'm predicting that Bella's inevitable first meeting with Amanda's other sisters will not go well...
  9. Is there a reason Amanda is suddenly acting 'off' (or at least Stacy is perceiving her as doing so)? Is this like in "Making the Best Of It" where something is in the local Amazons' food that kicks up their mothering/condescending toward Littles?
  10. I prefer the "Instinct" explanation. Also, if no Littles are available, an Amazon's overcharged mothering instincts might imprint on a cute-enough In-Betweener, especially a younger or shorter one...
  11. Another random idea, inspired by a picture I found on DeviantArt, with some changes. A special 'care' facility where kids, teens, and young adults are looked after by 'caregivers' for either preset amounts of time, until the caregivers decide to stop, or theoretically indefinitely. When a person is brought to the facility, they are first sent through a conveyer-belt/machine thing (robo-arms, that kinda thing) that 'babifies' them on different settings, each setting sending the 'baby' to a different corresponding set of caregivers. The lowest setting has the new 'baby' basically just put in a plain white or pale-pink t-shirt and a 'standard' diaper, white with maybe a hint of pink. There are settings above that. The highest setting is typically (note: not always) selected for young or androgynous boys, or for girls/young-women who are 'rough', tomboyish, solemn and stoic/quiet or otherwise possessing of 'issues' related to their femininity. To give you an idea of what they're in for, this setting is written (in cutesy font) as "Pwetty Pink Sissy-Baby Pwincess". A person sent in with this setting gets: Silky-soft pink/lavender stockings that go all the way up to mid-thigh, secured with frilly pink/red/white garters Gloves of a similar material & color, reaching up above the elbows, with the hands as mittens that will keep baby's hands from doing anything they're not supposed to A very puffy-thick diaper, enough to make any walking be slow with a very pronounced crinkly waddle, with all diapers worn by those in this category having lots of pinks and reds and lavenders, hearts and butterflies and other cutesy designs and stuff OPTIONAL: A second diaper of the same thickness and design, put on over the first, for doubled booty-cushioning, leg-spreading poofy thickness The cutesiest baby-girl dress you'll ever see, complimentary shades of pink with bits of red and white, frills and laces, lots of poofy bows & ribbons, and the very floofy & short skirt section designed to leave the diaper almost-100% uncovered and exposed Frilly hair ribbons to hold hair in pigtails OPTIONAL: Cutesy makeup - eyeshadow, blush, lashes, light-pink lipstick A big red & pink pacifier, tied to a pink silk ribbon that serves as a necklace If anyone wants to come up with other levels in-between those two extremes, and/or come up with how the different classes of 'diapie-tot/baby/sissy-baby' would be treated by their respective 'caregiver' groups, make a story or two out of it (Diaper Dimension or not), go right ahead. 'Cause I got no idea where to go from here.
  12. Sneezed and something small, black, and metal-like came out of my mouth. I felt around with my tongue, and it turns out that I somehow sneezed out a filling. Now what?

  13. Sorry about that last thing. Anyway, what I have in mind now is... well, call it a thought exercise that you guys can offer feedback or additions to. Imagine one of those civilization-managing games, set in the Diaper Dimension. You control one nation, and you get to decide what to focus on, whether to be pro-Littles' Rights or anti-, how to go about forming alliances with other nations via defense pacts or trade networks or the like (or, if you're that type of player, subverting or conquering other nations instead), all sorts of stuff. The game would keep track of every major nation's relationship/opinion with every other one (including yours), with the rating changing depending on that nation's actions, laws, and so forth - being pro-Little Rights would improve your relationship with some countries but sour it with others, for instance, while offering relief aid after a natural disaster or the like will generally cause an increase in good will; in addition, sometimes you can decrease one country's rating by doing things to help a country they're not on good terms with, and if go the tyrant route you can alienate a lot of the 'lighter' nations. It would be color-coded: GREEN: Friendly/Allied - just as it sounds like, you're on good terms with them, maybe have an official politico-military and trade alliance, and whatnot; expect a healthy mutual trade network and reciprocal tourism BLUE: Neutral - they don't really have any opinion of you one way or the other YELLOW: Cautious/Negative - they've got their eye on you, they will treat you coldly or with blatant suspicion ORANGE: Hostile - they do not like you; forget about any trade or tourism agreements with this nation; they may be waiting for an excuse to attack you, or (more likely) are nervously waiting for you to do so to them; IN ADDITION, this (if not Yellow; I haven't decided) may represent scornful disdain or the like instead - "those bleeding-heart Little-lovers" or "those backwards barbarians" or "those arrogant tyrants who treat anyone smaller than them as second-classers or pets" RED: Enemy - you generally only see this in the event of open war; expect a shoot-on-sight response if you get anywhere near their territory As said, this would not only reflect your nation's relationship with the others; there would also be a chart or list or whatever that uses these colors to show every non-player country's opinion of every other one. Just as how your various actions can affect the other nations' opinion of and relationship with you, so can actions and events in NPC nations affect their relations with others; these actions and events can be random-generated, or you can spur them into happening (directly, indirectly, or even through unintentional influence like "Hey, those guys are doing something that looks nice; let's do it, too") There could be a percentage bar or the like showing the degree of rights and freedoms and well-treatedness of Littles in your country; a theoretical 90-100% rating would basically mean equality and respect and the like, while a 0-10% would be... well, basically like Catalon from BBY-Kimmy's story (who I kinda had the idea of being one of the game's nations, actually). Going up or down on this scale as you choose will generally improve your standings with like-minded countries but sour your relations with opposing-viewpoint ones. There would be one curiosity, though; in most cases, when you look at the chart that shows international relations, you can find the listed country on the world map. But there's one nation that doesn't initially appear on the map, but their relation/opinion of the other nations is there to see despite them not having any contact to speak of. This nation's default opinion rating seems to be Yellow, nervously cautious of even apparent pro-Little nations, while any nation with 'neutral' or anti-Little leanings gets a solid Orange (Catalon is damn near Red even though they've never met). This mystery country's location and other stats can only be revealed in two ways: they will (cautiously) reach out to you if your Littles' Rights rating gets above about 85%, or you can discover them if you invest enough resources into discovery (long-range boats, airplanes, satellites, or something) and happen to scan a particular section of the ocean; in either event, the nation then appears on the map for all other nations to see as well as yours. This island nation (big island, though, lots of valuable natural resources and space for plenty of people), deliberately separate from other nations and getting what external supplies they need via carefully-chosen, anonymous trade and delivery networks, is composed entirely of Littles and In-Betweeners; in fact, Amazons are expressly forbidden from setting foot within their territory. It is a culture of Littles and sympathetic/like-minded In-Betweeners who are deeply distrustful of and paranoid towards all Amazons, due to the whole babification, objectification, humiliation kinda stuff. Even nations that are apparently pro-Little are treated with caution and distrust, while anti-Little nations like Catalon are viewed with fear and hatred. This nation theoretically has some valuable resources in abundance that a trade partner could really benefit from, as well as a high tourism-attracting natural beauty rating, though as stated there isn't any tourism at first. One thing they have going for them, though, is a result of their paranoia towards the outside world of Amazons: this mysterious little secluded nation has potentially the highest Military rating in the entire game. They have the mentality of switching into 'fortress mode' at the slightest sign of trouble, and are ready to do so at a moment's notice; automated defenses of all sorts (cyber-defense, mounted heavy anti-air/anti-ship autoguns, drone attack craft, etc.), a superbly-trained and -equipped military (with every able-bodied citizen going through at least basic training) with very high military tech level (their exosuits can give a Little enough strength to deal fatal damage to an Amazon with a single well-placed punch, and their vehicles, ships, & planes of war can outmatch nearly anything else). If you manage to gain their trust (arguably one of the hardest things to do in the whole game), you can end up with a formidable ally, along with a thriving trade relationship that both parties can benefit from massively. However, if you go the anti-Little route and decide for whatever reason to attack and conquer & 'babify' them (remember, you can invade and take over other nations if you want to go that way), you are in for the toughest fight in the game; they will fight like demons for every scrap of ground, generally committing suicide to avoid capture, and actually have a chance to bleed you dry if your Military rating isn't high enough. And if you do manage to defeat them, you're in for one final, very nasty surprise: in the event of total defeat, of imminent 'mass-babification' by those evil Amazons, they have a series of strategically-placed, high-yield thermonuclear warheads dotted across the island; in gameplay, you are unable to detect or disarm them, so if you militarily defeat this nation totally they WILL go off. These are the ultimate suicide bombs, meant to protect the otherwise-unsavable citizens & soldiers of this nation from the threat of being 'destroyed in a way worse than death' by wiping them all out... and killing any and all invading forces still on the island as well. Needless to say, this will not only take a big chunk out of your resources, but it will guarantee that all but the most anti-Little of NPC nations will suffer a huge relationship loss (Blues and even some Greens could go to Yellow or Orange as a result, and it could trigger Oranges to go Red).
  14. And then, to fit with this story's new tone and deal a final fatal blow to the old happy one we thought would last forever, the next chapter will have Kimmy waking up in her 'kitty bed', and crying herself back to sleep as she realizes that being found, freed, and back with her mommy was just a fleeting dream...
  15. Okay, so I've been playing through Batman: Arkham Knight lately, and... after everything we've seen here, is it wrong of me to wish the parents and Opal would receive a 'visit' from Red Hood?
  16. Out of curiosity, what is the social standing of In-Betweeners (our people, basically) in Catalon?
  17. So, just for the hell of it I came up with a little snippet that I won't be making into a full story because A: this little snippet is all I've got, and B: it really wouldn't fit the kind of tone or themes this board's stories go for anyway:
  18. So, is the story going to stick wholly to Kimmy's POV, or might we get a couple scenes of April on the warpath?
  19. So, there are a few stories (including the two most recent 'big' stories, "Making the Best of It" and "Exchanged") where when an In-Betweener from 'our' world crosses over into the Diaper Dimension, generally they 'shrink' and/or become a Little. But what happens if a Little or an Amazon/Giant crosses through into our world? Do they grow/shrink into an equivalent-inbetweener?
  20. Something tells me Kimmy is going to want to never wanna see one of those cookies ever again...
  21. Couple things have me thinking regarding Amazon reactions to things. First, in the story/timelines where knowledge of 'our' world is known, I wonder what the Amazons (as well as the Littles and In-Betweeners) think of there being a world where all humans are In-Betweeners, where the other two races apparently don't even exist? Second, I wonder how Amazons view, react to, and treat In-Betweener children. An I.B. boy or girl 8-11 years of age will be in the same size range as adult Littles and therefore Amazon babies & toddlers; how would this color Amazons' perceptions of them, how they react and treat them? Might there be some Amazon babysitters hired by I.B. parents who take 'baby-sitting' rather literally?
  22. Well, what's the "proper" response if someone unconsciously/reflexively curses when hurt, rather than consciously deciding to swear? Will the fact it was reflexive like that rather than deliberate/conscious lessen the severity of the transgression in April's eyes? Because who hasn't automatically cursed upon sudden pain like that, the word(s) slipping out of your mouth before you even know it?
  23. Oh, April's gonna be pissed when she learns what they did to her baby...
  24. Have any story/snippet ideas you don't think you could do well? Come up with the most basic skeleton of a story idea but don't have the time, motivation, or self-confidence to make it into a full-blown story? Let's try making this a place where you can put those ideas up for 'adoption' here so that other authors can take a crack at them! (Or offer assistance/guidance/whatever to people who think they can't make a story out of their ideas but you think they can with the right encouragement/assistance/supplementary ideas, if that's your thing...)
