I only distinctly remember having an accident one time at the age of 5 when I was at my grandma's house. I used to slide down her steps like a playground slide to get downstairs and one time I hit a big bump or something and completely pooped my pants. My grandma was really mad and had to throw my pants and underwear in the washer.

I recently discovered a medical supply store a few miles from my house. It turns out they sell a brand of diaper called Prevail. I know I've seen the name pop up now and again but I haven't really seen any reviews for them. Just curious if anyone here has had any experience with them and if so how they compare to other brands such as Tena and Depend that are typically found in retail stores. Are they worth getting or are they just another cheap low-capacity brand?

Thanks everyone. It's not life changing for me, I've been without before. I'll be getting a sizable paycheck in two weeks so I'll be fine. It's just a bummer for now is all. I'm fortunate enough to not need diapers for medical reasons. It's been a while since I've been completely out of diapers so I'll just have to adjust and remember that I can't just empty my bladder when I feel the urge during the course of the night. Luckily I also can't afford enough beer to have a "too much beer before bed episode"

Well I just paid this month's rent and my bank account is a lot closer to zero than I'd like it to be. So unfortunately that means giving up some frivolous items, diapers included, for the next couple of weeks. I'm too broke to wet the bed. Anybody else have the too broke for diapers blues this week? Or last week? Or ANY week?

If you're comparing the two then the older episodes were definitely better. I like a lot of the new episodes but they really seem to be hit or miss anymore. I would consider almost every episode of the old series a classic. I can't say that about the new ones.

I was watching this week's Futurama and noticed they made a diaper reference. They're at a casino buffet where there's rotten shrimp and one of the characters makes a comment about the smell. Then an old lady chimes in, "It ain't my gambling diaper, I just changed it. Must be the shrimp." It's very brief but I thought it was interesting.

We've all heard that when people get scared enough they sometimes void their bladder and/or bowels uncontrollably as some sort of "fight or flight" response. Has this ever happened to any of you? Has there ever been a moment in your life that you were so scared you actually peed or pooped your pants? If so, were you diapered? Were you out in public? Did anyone see you? Did you feel ashamed afterwords? I've always been fascinated by this but it has never happened to me. At least as long as I've been an adult. It might have happened when I was like a toddler but never as fully continent adult.

I have a tendency to wet the bed when I get too drunk. This is great when I'm diapered but if I'm not then things get messy. My last mattress got ruined because of my college years. Once it actually happened when I had a girl spend the night. The next morning was extremely awkward and embarrassing. Needless to say I didn't see her again after that. She probably still has a laugh with her girlfriends about "that guy that peed the bed."

I'm definitely buying these when they are released in stores. I've been waiting years for them to finally come out with a pull-up this close to real underwear. The current ones just suck and are uncomfortable. I would say that this would replace my current daytime set-up of regular cotton briefs with a Depend guard but at over $13 a pack I don't think that is going to be financially possible.
