My earliest memories are of being a DL. I loved Playtex rubber pants and would ask my mom for them instead of toys. I was less than 3 at the time and know for sure because of the house we lived in. My next door neighbor and best friend, youngest of 6 kids and the only boy, still slept in a crib, had to wear diapers at night (and probably during the day) and he smelled like baby powder all the time. I was so jealous, I had to sleep in a "big boy" bed. I was a bedwetter till I was 9, caused by sleep apnea we know now. Only wore "diapers" for that for two weeks, Stay-Dry all in one plastic panties. The major thing the internet did for me was to let me know that I was not alone. That I was not the only "freak" in the world. And there is a large community which includes folks a big spectrum of reasons why we are this way.

No, a different name. The thing I liked about CompuServe was the voice chat system. We were able to have pretty vibrant AB and DL channels....so each group could talk they way they wanted. Interestingly enough...there were several females in the channels...but of course they were subject to some abuse. The monitors tried to control that.

I like Love in Brief...but the two individuals running the podcast broke up a short while ago. It's still running, but I miss the female partner.

I ran the HSX board on CompuServe for a bit.... It was where I first learned there were others. To this day, I can remember that initial post that I read and how it impacted me. Up until then, I thought I was all alone....a single "freak" of nature.

My wife and I went over this last weekend to help a friend of hers, who's a nurse, clean up her mothers home for sale. Her mother moved to assisted living and they had to sell the house to fund her stay. There were two other of her nurse friends there as well. I was asked to come along to help move the heavy things and help repair some electrical work. The house was a bit of a mess, since her mother had lived alone for about 10 years and her health had severely declined during the last 2 years. The friend keep telling my wife...anything you see you like help yourself...less to move or sell at a yard sale. We got a few things, but I the one thing we kept finding all over the house were "drugstore" incontinence pull on pants. My wife knows of my DL interests but does not approve and always keeps an eye on my response to diaper ads or when we are in drugstores. I had no real interest in the crappy drugstore items. But then we all went into the bedroom, me to move a TV, them to clean up and check out what needed to be done to clean things out. On a stand next to the bed was a clear plastic tote bin...pretty big in size with no top. In one half of the bin were real cloth diapers! Only two appeared to have been prewashed and used....the rest of the stack of maybe a full dozen diapers was obviously pristine and unwashed or used. The real shocker was the other half of the bin which seemed to contain a fair number of plastic pants of all sorts....clear, pink, animal print...all neatly folded. When the nurses moved over to the bin, the daughter said, "Yeah, the briefs are pretty crappy so we tried the cloth diapers". "They worked well, and didn't leak, but my mom couldn't get the pins right so she stopped using them. What do you think I should do with them....just dump them?" She was under the impression no one would want USED diapers. One of the nurses said, "Give them to Goodwill, or call (our nearby eldercare center) and see if they want them." The daughter said, "Yeah they weren't cheap....I'd hate to see them trashed, and they did work". I would have loved to have gotten them...but that was impossible with my wife there. Had no idea what size there were, I did my best not to get close, so as not to annoy my wife. I picked up the TV, took it out and put it in one of the cars, and then went to work in an outside shed sorting garden tools. But I couldn't keep the mental picture out of my mind....it's been killing me. Even worse, my wife took several large containers of baby powder since she liked the J&J Talc stuff which we can no long find in our area. The car smelled like baby powder the whole way home.

To maximize Megamax....use a cloth insert next to skin to wick wet to all parts of the diaper. Megamax is a GREAT diaper, but I am always disappointed when I don't use insert and finally take them off just to notice the set is still dry.

I'm of that age.....i found that when things are the worst (usually during the cold season...seems sinuses reaction related to prostate) I slip a baby diaper into my underwear. It doesn't add much noticeable bulk, and keeps my underwear and pants from getting wet. Ah, the indignities of getting old. Wish I could just wear a thin all in one diaper....alas....

This holiday was interesting. My family hosted several family members for almost 2 weeks. It was fun, but tiring. Lots of good food, conversations, video games and card games. But a lot of the work fell on me, my wife and our kids. That's expected. I was surprised that during that entire two week period....I had little or no thoughts of any kind of diapers and rubber pants or even anything sexual. No day dreams of being diapered and no night time dreams...usually of being caught in diapers by guest in the house. I never checked DD or any of the other ABDL boards I follow. Now, after all are gone and the house is picked up....a rush of desire and impulse to buy myself a "gift" have emerged. I've been thinking of ordering several items from Babykins. However, I'm concerned about any customs labels that might be included on the package. Anyone in the US purchased things from Babykins? If so, what is on the package upon arrival and how discrete are packages. My wife knows of my interests, but does not approve, so I usually order things to arrive when she will not be at home. But I can't predict when the package will arrive. I hope someone can advise....I'm going crazy with desire and need to deal with it.

This is incredible...anyone actually tried this? What would be the down side of not sealing the valve....just leaving it open? Would the risk of UTIs be more or less than a catheter....or the kinds of stents listed in this message? Or, finding a random way of activating the device without the bulky control unit would be interesting.

Rusty, I do use 4 pins...always have.....I can get the waist and legs kind of tight...have to put on laying down then re-pin using mirror. The issue is the width to length ratio....waist is not bad.....length is a bit long. I am going to do what you suggested and fold length back on itself till I find the right fit then pin back to the front. Just can't pin through doubled layers. The diaper is a great quality....wish I could get more....maybe next size down. But I am happy with it. Will do bedwetting challenge with it tonight and see what happens.

Ah, yes fold....I don't do anything fancy.....just fold it the way the "old" disposable diapers used to use...the sort of fan fold. Hard to describe if you didn't use those. Another thing.....since the diaper sags....it kind of keeps the wet below the leg seals and so I have been having less issues when standing and sitting. I've thought about getting a onesie to hold them up....but I'm actually trying to reduce my DL stuff. I'm impressed how much one CTDC diaper can hold. Figure if I did double up and wear overnight I would pretty much be protected.

I have had a week to myself and have spent most of it in diapers. Up until yesterday, they were just disposables. But a contact has send me a cloth diaper to try and I did. It was the wrong size for me but I gave it a go. I have some observations and have been pleasantly surprised. 1. The diaper is too big and I while I can get the waist tight, I can't get the rest of the diaper to hug my body. I initially thought this was a deal breaker. I prefer very tight fitting diapers for the stimulation, obvious reminder of my state of condition, vague feeling of chastity and the helplessness I feel. But I've found that I'm beginning to like it loose. The diaper moves when I move, feels wet (a feeling I surprising enjoy), and "clings" a bit. I could get used to this. 2. I am more inclined to change more often....I don't have the same...."I've got to get every drop sucking molecule" out of an expensive ABDL diaper. I also don't feel bad "undressing" when I have to run out or deal with interruptions. 3. I wet the diaper in bed during a nap (actually 3 time) and it "seemed" to protect me more than the highly absorbent disposables I typically wear. No leaks out the top were a big plus. 4. I have wet over 10 diapers this last week and I see the pile of bags I have to dispose of....have to make special run to dump because I can't leave them in our garbage and risk them being found. I like the concept of just dropping the wet diaper in the wash and having it appear clean and even fluffier. 5. I've been finding the the loose fit...while not as directly stimulating as a tight disposable....has been reminding me of the feel of my childhood and bed wetting diapers...and it's comforting and stimulating in a different manner..and I like it. Plus, my very floppy real rubber pants make a great water proof cover. Overall, I'm impressed....the problem I see, is I can't just wear them during my few "alone" days since I have to figure in the washing cycle...and concern that schedules will change and folks will show up unexpectedly. Comments?

I don't get to wear very often. So when I do I try to maximize the time I can stay in a wet diaper. To do this, I typically wear a MegaMax disposable diaper lined with a regular cotton flannel diaper and on top of that several birdseye cloth baby diapers. I try to place the baby diapers around all the front back and sides so that I am fully protected. After taping up, I put on a pair of Rearz Rubber pants (they are snug and hold all the mass of the diaper up close to my body) which provide a great leg seal. On top of that, I wear a pair of clear polyurethane pants on top of that to protect the rather fragile rubber pants (polyurethane pants are practically indestructible). And just because I like their look and feel, I wear a pair of thick medical rubber pants on top of that. This obviously provides a great amount of protection and I rarely have any leaks or issues, even in bed. My question is, I've been thinking of just trying to wear a single MegaMax disposible diaper by itself. So what can I expect from the performance of just that diaper? I'm thinking leaks mostly.

We need to be careful....we'll set off a panic like the one that happened for masks and gloves....... Of course if the general population just buys the drug store junk...we'll be ok. We have secret knowledge.......

Just throwing this out...... What if the pandemic did become so extensive that authorities banned the use of public rest rooms or rest rooms in restaurants?
