  1. I only started wetting as a late teenager after a bought with night terrors. Then, after spending some time in the hospital, and suffering some nerve damage, I started to wet at night. It went from a once in awhile thing to much more frequent (though it still comes in spells.) I've wet my bed every single night this week.
  2. First of all, I'm sorry you have to spend time in the hospital. It sucks. Trust me, I know. I've spent over 65 days inpatient, and I'm only 25 (chronic blood disorder.) For the first day or so if you're having surgery, you will be so doped up the first little bit it won't matter. If you have a laptop, take it. Most hospitals have wifi. They all have TV's, so pass your time there. But really, if you're going to feel crappy enough to be in the hospital... you're not gonna be too concerned with how to entertain yourself while there. Basics : take your own shampoo, soap, razors, etc - those suck from the hospital. And unless you want their attractive gowns, you need to take some clothes, especially comfortable ones that the shirts button up because that makes changes easier with an IV in. And finally, for the diapers, YES - PLEASE take your own. The ones from the hospital suck... and if they're messing with your spine, you're not going to want to be moving around every hour or so just to get changed. Just my two cents... from a hospital pro. Good luck!
  3. Thank you all so much! You all are so kind. :-)
  4. Melinda - what a fantastic idea!!! What kind of audio software do you use?? I've been looking for a good way for me to record myself for my little boy so that he can listen to it on his iPod in mp3 format. And I think not just lullabies, but roleplay would be great.
  5. Thanks so much! I placed an order for some Molicare Super Plus. I'll be sure to let you know how they turn out.
  6. I'm very new to different diapers. I've only bought a couple of times online, I don't wear as much as most people so I have been content with the ones you can find in health supply stores. That said, I got a package of DRY247 and I LOVED them, mostly because they were purple. Sooo, my question is - what is the best all around purple diaper?? Also, do they make size L diapers in Blue?? Thanks!
  7. Live about 20 minutes west of Statesville. Would love, love, love to meet some more AB/DL that live nearby!
  8. One of my favorite things to do is to wet my panties through my skirt, somewhere outside for my boyfriend. It turns him on like crazy! And since I wear skirts a LOT, it doesn't take much prompting for me to want to wet for him. As for the sitting on the toilet and peeing through panties - I used to do it a lot more than I do now, but I have. Now, I usually do it in the shower instead.
  9. I've been lucky enough to find my boyfriend who shares the same interests as I do. We almost always have wet sex. He really likes the feeling of me peeing while he is inside me, moving. I ALWAYS keep a mattress protector on our bed, because I like the feeling of the pee pooled up under my bottom. I've peed on his genitals a lot, and he has peed on mine. He likes when I wear skirts and straddle him and let my pee come, and soak us both. Good thing I don't mind doing laundry. :-) We've fulfilled life-long fantasies in each other, and the great thing is that 3 years after we started this, we're still finding new and exciting scenarios to try and new avenues to explore.
  10. I think it all bleeds into one another... But seriously, why do you need to put a label on it?? It's something our society is SO stuck on, but I say just roll with it and don't stress over what to call it.
  11. Peeing in the shower is how I got started in this whole "world" in the first place. I started wetting my underwear in the shower when I was very little. I was sick a lot, and on lots of meds - so I would just act like I had "forgotten" and got in the shower without taking my panties off, or act like I had dropped them in the water. I couldn't do it too often, but a couple of times a year I did. Now, I do it every time I take a shower almost. I love the feeling of wet panties against my skin, and there is no easier clean up than in the shower!
  12. The most important thing to me when I am little is the feeling of being safe and protected. That is something that only my Daddy can give me. I want to be wrapped in a blanket, hidden in his arms, diaper covering my bottom... just safe and warm. I'm different than a lot of AB's though, I don't like spanking or punishment of any kind when I'm little. I'm just a little TOO vulnerable, and I don't think I could take someone hitting on me, or yelling. Nothing in the world beats a daddy who will go out of his way to make sure his little girl is safe and loved and completely taken care of.
  13. I love being a Mommy. My little boy is amazing, and wants so badly to be good. He is SO sweet. My favorite things about being a Mommy would have to be nursing and the look on his face when he's doing it, and the intimacy it takes to connect with another person like that. Due to current work circumstances, we live over 8 hours away. We see each other a few days out of every few weeks, so when we do - we hit the AB stuff hard core. In any given day we'll switch back and forth from Mommy to Daddy a couple of times. I know it won't always be that way, when our lives merge and become much more "normal" but I know it will always be a big part of who we are. I'm really sorry for those of you who are stuck in an AB situation you aren't thrilled with. I can't really imagine that. I know I got really blessed. Aside from the distance, mine has been amazing. The only reason I AM ok to be this way is because of him, on both sides of the spectrum. Our AB lifestyle and exploring it in each other has become such a huge source of validation for us both, that we're ok and there isn't something "wrong" with us, and we both find great joy in it.
  14. Just one. I'm his Mommy and he is my good little boy. And when I need him to be, he is my daddy. He's pretty jealous for my attention (which I don't mind :-) ) and wouldn't do well with "competition."
  15. I used to drink a lot - then I turned 21 and it lost its appeal. I also got really tired of being sick afterward. I'd rather get my buzz in a fashion that isn't gonna hang me over the next day. But, that aside... I do drink once in awhile. While I used to drink near anything, I'm much more selective now. I've never had a thing for beer of any sort. Malt beverages like Smirnoff and Bacardi are fine. Fruity stuff. My favorite mixed drink is a frozen Orang-U-Tang, or a Zombie. No taste for hard liquor anymore, only if its hidden in something.

    Cats!

I adore kitties. The most I've ever had at once is 9 (we didn't get our male fixed soon enough - who knew they'd be so fertile?) To our credit, they all lived, got their shots, and found good homes. Right now, I only technically have one cat (bob-tailed tuxedo female) but she doesn't live with me. I rescued her from neighborhood dogs while staying with my mom for awhile, and now - my mom won't let me have her back, LOL. I've just recently moved, and have been feeding the couple of strays that hang out at my apartment complex. There are a few of us that feed them, but they are way to wild for anyone to get near. Getting a shelter kitty (and a new tattoo) are going to be my birthday gifts to myself next month. All of you who take care of the strays and have adopted/rescued animals- THANK YOU - you rock!!!
  17. Hi everybody!! I just have to say, I've been a big fan of DD for awhile. I took a break from the whole AB/DL community (not the lifestyle) for the past two years. I realized lately just how much I miss having friends in my life who understand this "weird" part of me, and not judge me for it. I'd always remembered browsing around and this site always stuck out to me for not only how active, but how this site seems to be moderated much better, and BS not tolerated near as much as some others that we'll just not name. So, with all that being said - let me introduce me. :-) I'm Genevieve. I'm 25 and I live in the southern US. I've got a great boyfriend of almost 3 years who I met due to our mutual fetish interests, and hope to marry him one day. I LOVE to talk (can't you tell?) I love meeting new people, and hanging out with the friends I already have. Music is one of the most important things in my world, no matter what the kind. I'm a pretty geeky girl. I love books, computers, even video games (when I have time.) As for the AB part of my life, I'm what I guess you'd refer to as a "switch." Most often the role I take on is Mommy. I am so maternal it just oozes out of me, and always has. Being an AB Mommy when my boyfriend first brought the idea to me didn't seem like a stretch then, and now it is a role that I embrace wholeheartedly. I do, however, have a very little side. Just how little can depend on the day, but it doesn't take much time facing grown up life for me to want to go grab my paci and teddy bear and tap into the little girl that lives inside of me. A little girl that is lonely, a lot. I hope being here can change that. I probably sound pathetically desperate, but the truth is - I just want to meet some people, make some friends, learn about others(and hopefully more about myself) in the process. I've gone on long enough. Bless you if you stuck with me this far. Please feel free to message me and say Hi! You can't ever have too many friends. :-) Much love, ~Genevieve
