Shots may help. Its a little more than a bandaid but it helps, 1st shot worked about 6 months, i went back to driving 6-700 miles with a heavy cluched kenworth, 2nd shot worked for almost2 years, switched to a auto rig and cut my daily miles down, then i dont know why but i really started hurting again and shots stopped helping, started on the nerve burns and its helping, dont know for how long, this may not help you, but i hope it will, back pain sucks, and driving semi doesn't help.

Good luck, im not that bad yet, just went from shots to nerve burns, may need surgery in the next few years though

Wal-Mart for the cheap ones, all Wal-Mart have truck access, but a lot don't want us to park there. there are other stores that we can stop at but before pulling in make sure u can get out without hitting anything, real careful about where I pull in. best bet is to get them when you go home, it's what I do, and plan it out so u don't run out but still have room for your stuff.

drynot, I can name some big training companies that are big on safety, and if your dispatch tries to get you to fudge some, ask for safety, always worked for me, I wouldn't fudge for the company, just for my own benefit

A lot of companies will train you, but they don't want to pay much or treat you like a kindergarteners, I left a place like that, they gave me a raise and a gravy run, but still treated me like I was 5, where I'm at now I'm treated like a adult, get asked what Ioad I want, when I want to come back, but I've paid my dues at big companies to get experience to get here.if y'all want to drive a big truck, put a few years with a big training company and look around for a good small company near your house, but don't try cr England, they are among the worst to start with.
