  1. Wow, I'm surprised everything at XPmedical is handled by one guy. They sell so much, so it made me think it would be a warehouse or office building or something. Is he aware that some people buy just to wear for fun?
  2. Sometimes you feel like it's 'done' for good, then you hear a song, or watch an old movie, or just see something in everyday life that reminds you of it. Like other people have mentioned, it's good just to put it outta site for a while, then when you want it (if you do) you will know where the diapers are. I went months without it, but then one day I came home and on a whim wanted to participate in it. I was SO glad I didn't throw everything away, and it was really nice to just partake for a while and forget about things.
  3. Really? I'm curious to know what the building looks like, is it a big warehouse or a walk in store? It would be such a rush to walk in there and buy one of the huge boxes
  4. Ah, I occasionally smoke and a diaper is always a nice companion to a little green. Mushrooms and diapers were especially fun! My best friend let me listen to the Japanese Pampers song several times on repeat during our 'trip. It was SOOOO hilarious to me at the time It was called "Akachan no Oshiri"(Babies bottom) by "Ryuichi Sakamoto"
  5. Fun diapers indeed. A very good choice! Like many others have mentioned here, going from paper-thin grocery store diapers to Abena's was a big baby step up. I remember that they made me quiver.
  6. I like reading everybodies replies on this one! I use to wear thick diapers under jeans when I attended a community college. People tend to be more laid back at community college compared to the big universities so nobody would say a thing even if they did notice. Now that I attend a University, it tends to have more immature (not the good kind) and loud-mouthed kids, so I can't bring myself to wear them to the University. Roommates are cool though, so they wouldn't care either way.
  7. I wanted to like the Bambino's, the early reviews with pictures looked exiting and promising. I even ordered a big box of the 'biancos' when they came out, but compared to the Abena X-plus; I think they are gimmicky and not in any way better than the Abena's. Ignoring the silly writing down the middle of the Abena X-plus, I still think they feel more like what I remember diapers to feel like years back. I know that many many people like the bambino's, but I was not impressed. I couldn't bring myself to try them again when I know the Abina's will deliver the ultimate in padded pleasure.
  8. Yes once, A few years back in the late 1990's when teenage boys wore those stupid baggy wide-legged huge jeans, I use to wear thick diapers underneath them. Once I went into an ice cream store and ordered a cone. I had wet my diaper, but didn't think anything of it. Several women were staring at me and they smiled when I turned around. I got to the car and my best friend pointed it out: "Dude, the back of your jeans are soaking wet". DOH!
  9. Interesting topic! Yeah, I did several years back. I was sitting in my room in PJ's and a wet diaper one cloudy Saturday morning. I asked my mother "would you change my diaper?". She asked "What!?", then I had to ask it over about 3 times, my face becoming more and more blush with each time I asked (she probably didn't want to hear what I was asking either). She refused and looked kind of sad. Then I had to explain that I'm not "sick" or anything like that, it was bold curiosity that probably went too far on my part. Looking back, it was a head ache and based on my experience; I wouldn't recommend anybody ask their parent(s) to do it.
  10. Cool site! Not too long ago a friend was giving me a hard time for having so many "diaper" video's on my youtube "favorites" page, so it's funny that this should suddenly pop up. Also, it gives you a 'feel' for how a particular diaper might work by watching other people wet brands I have yet to try.
  11. xpmedical.com in the states have always been my reliable source for Abena X-plus. I don't know of a cheaper source that also offers free shipping. It usually takes 4 business days on the dot for them to arrive at the door. They use FedEx, who tend to deliver in the morning, so I know when to be home to "intercept" them. UPS tends to deliver in the afternoon; that may just be in my town though. I prefer Abena X-Plus to Bambino, the Abena's remind me of early 80's Huggies, and that's what I like about them, plus they ride super high and when you wear them with regular fitting jeans, it's really obvious that you have a big bulky diaper on.
  12. I remember ordering from them a few years back(2004/5-ish). No complaints, discreet packaging and all, but they don't sell Abena X-plus, so I tend to stick with xpmedical.com ; they ship the fastest.
  13. Really? That's disappointing to hear. I ordered a big box of three bags back in July of this year (from xpmedical) and they were still nice 'n thick. Hope they are not going back to their awful thin cutbacks like they did back in 2005. That was disappointing. Bambino's may have the "cute" factor down, but I do prefer the slight thickness of Abina X-plus.
  14. For me it was gender and age appropriate underwear. But concerning my "preferred" underwear... disposable diapers please It made me chuckle to see the overwhelming majority chose "disposable diapers" for the 3rd question. Thick crinkle-padded diapers really give me the glows!
  15. I'm not sure what happened to those guys. If I remember correctly, the album was released on September 11th, 2001 (bummer of a release date in the US). I remember liking the video, I'm more of an 80's guy myself, but it was a clever/cute video. I imagine they got lots of slack from their peers for that video.
  16. It's interesting to see the change over the years. Have to say, I like the 80's style the best; with the gathers and prints on the landing lone. But that's my bias.
  17. Seems like it would be difficult to get back up if you fell over in it. It's kind of cute, but not at all practical.
  18. Hello all, and thanks for the warm welcome. Snugglebug, I've noticed that as well. The Japanese movies featuring diapers are some of my favorites. A few are on youtube (The "office diaper" clip comes to mind). Wish that I could find more on the net, they very cute and the girls just look so cute in the diapers.
  19. Hello, I have been reading this board for 2 or 3 years now and finally decided to join. I'm 27, 6 foot 2 and right at 200ibs. Brown hair and hazel eyes. I love Japan and learning Japanese. I enjoy most of the conversation on here and look forward to talking and meeting with new people. I have never met an a.b. or d.l. in person.
