I have been curious about these myself. My experience with cloth backed products extends to pull up style (garbage) and Seni quatros and supers, both of which I enjoy!! ?? Generally, cloth backed products dont do well with odor control. The ones I "tested" ( dropped a load in) allowed the smell through, and since I was driving, stank up my car interior and seat!!! It took a couple days to air everything out!!?? I have NOT had that issue with the Seni products!!??, the way they are built does not allows for messy odors to pass through, so everything is contained, in that regard. ?? I have not experimented with other NS products, or Abena or other brands, just the pullups I had, andI don't remember the brand......not that it matters I guess. Northshore, being a quality product provider, should ,I imagine, have no issue with odor containment. The best I can suggest is try it...*shrug*, whats the worst that can happen???

Neither! Diapers are inanimate objects, so they can be neither good nor bad, ....on their own! They have neither a brain, or central nerves system, so they cannot "be" anything more, or other than what they already "are" It takes a user / person to put them to use, how ever they see fit, as stated in above answers...
