  1. JBonn, I'm really glad to see you're still at it! For the past couple of months, I've had my old computer that died a slow and agonizing death; got a new one shipped to me and it didn't even work from the very first time I turned it on, and then after more waiting, I finally got this latest outfit, and I am hitting my old fave sites again. And at last, we are now into the program, and as usual, you've kept my - and everybody else's - interest at a very high level. Now I wonder, as I'm sure everyone else is, who else will join Jason as he gets going in The Program, and we are all eagerly awaiting the next chapter - you can be sure of that! As always, your dialogue is tops, and your writing still has a way of putting me right there at the scene. You can be sure, I will keep checking this site for the next installment
  2. You're lucky! You have someone who seems to accept your desire for diapers and the suggestions for relating with her in the above posts are good ones. As for the way you're "built," I think it's perfectly normal for males to have some sort of "curvature," and when all other things are considered, I don't think it would be a "turn-off" as far as your g/f is concerned. Just enjoy!
  3. Hi, AngleGirl26. I know you posted some time ago, but I've only recently replaced my computer and have just rejoined this discussion group. If you had an infection, I hope they were able to diagnose it and put you on antibiotics. That's the main thing for now - get rid of the infection. I have had bladder infections but never (to my knowledge) had interstitial cystitis. But if you're still in Tena Slips, it really is OK. I know that when I started wearing protection, I then realized I was really much more comfortable, since I had "one less thing to worry about." I could actually go somewhere that was more than 15 minutes away from my bathroom. I haven't seen Tena Slips on "this side of the Pond," but you may be able to find something that's just as effective but is even more discreet, so no one you see out on the street would suspect anything. I don't know about in England, but packaging on many of the products you see in the stores here claim they are more like underwear. I hope there will be opportunities in England for you to check those out. Good luck and let us know how you make out!
  4. I'd say bedwetting is definitely incontinence, which is the inability to control elimination. I know from my own experience that kids (or adults) who wake up wet had no intention of wetting, and are completely unaware they're doing it until it's too late. Wet sheets are just as big a deal as wet pants. As for the doctors, I wouldn't think a doctor would disregard bedwetting any more than they would disregard a patient who came in with any other physical symptom.
  5. At times I have a feeling of relief when I wet, and there are other times when I begin to wet and I can't stop the flow. If I get the feeling I need to pee, it is only a very few minutes before I "go." From my own experience and from reading the previous posts, it seems incontinence isn't always a "black and white" thing, but there are plenty shades of gray. In other words, when you're incontinent, no two days are exactly alike. You don't always wet your pants at two o'clock! And there are other times when I forget if I pee, but notice my incontinent pants are damp or wet. But I can tell you one thing - wearing Depends or something similar is a lot more convenient and comfortable than not wearing them and worrying about having accidents.
  6. I agree that it's best to be honest - the sooner, the better! But do it when you sense she is in a receptive mood and isn't already burned up about something you did or said. If she already found one pair of plastic pants that weren't hidden, it's only a matter of time until she finds something else. By then, she might not be in the most receptive mood. It seems you've been with her long enough that you can sense her moods, then just open up to her. This probably isn't much, but I hope it helps!
  7. I agree with all of the posted comments, but Diapergirl80's make a lot of sense, especially witht the "cost-benefit ratio." thing she mentioned. If I were you, I most likely wouldn't even tell my parents. Are your's really strait-laced? Would you really gain anything by telling them? Or would it be better to start planning way ahead for the day when you move out? Until that happens, do you have your own car? If so, you can hide diapers somewhere in your car. Most likely, that's what I would do if I were in your situation. But good luck and hope it works out for you!
  8. I can easily relate to CDLover's comments about being "old"! But I'm sure I wore cloth, but have no idea if I also had rubber or plastic pants. After all, that was a loooong time ago!! One would think, then, that my preferences now would be cloth, but actually, disposables win hands down as far as convenience, etc. is concerned.
  9. I have read and enjoyed this chat room for some time. Unfortunately, my old computer died a long, slow death in late May/ early June and I've had to wait for awhile to replace it. Now I have a new system and I am pleased to see that DD hasn't changed (pun, maybe?) Anyway, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm a straight male, middle-aged, who lives in central Florida, north of Orlando. I have bladder control issues and wearing diapers, protective underwear, etc., is the best way to handle it. I like DD and this chat room because there are like-minded people, in that wearing diapers is perfectly normal for us. I feel I can share information here that I wouldn't anywhere else. I am looking forward to continuing to read and respond to the many posts that are available here.
  10. As far as coming across odd stuff on the Internet, the sky is the limit! There are plenty of forums for like-minded people, who don't think they are all that weird. To me, there is nothing weird about wearing diapers or protective underwear for bladder and bowel control problems. It's an effective way of coping with a problem that would otherwise be insurmountable. And for those who wear diapers and dress as babies for pleasure, it may or may not be your thing, but you have to admit it's a great stress-reliever. To me, there is nothing strange about an AB/DL. And that's OK as long as one doesn't foist his desires on someone who doesn't care to take part in it. To answer the question about the weird-o-meter, I would put us quite low, especially when you consider the other suggestions for odd fetishes, etc., that were mentioned by others answering this post.
  11. I wear Depends, etc., for bladder control issues, especially when I know I'll be away from a bathroom for any length of time. Most may regard being incontinent as "inconvenient," but it really isn't if you wear suitable "protection." When I need to go, I just go and no one is any the wiser. For me, that's much more convenient than trying to find a bathroom somewhere, "holding it," or wetting my pants. And even if a bathroom were to be found in a place where you need it, it may not be a very pleasant place. Taking into consideration the time it takes to find a bathroom, plus the time spent in there, wearing diapers is certainly a convenient, much more comfortable alternative.
  12. I can relate to wanting to be out in a camping area while wearing an exposed diaper. That would be really cool But as Drynot wrote, it would have to be a very private area, and I don't know if I would have the nerve to do it if there are people around. And I can relate to having an accident in a sleeping bag as that happened to me when I was a kid. It took forever to dry and it still smelled! But Goodnites weren't around back then.
  13. Jennifer, this is by far the best, most comprehensive site for discussion. And it's really the most user-friendly to post messages on. I have used this site for quite awhile, although my old computer died a long and painful death late May and I've had to wait to get this one. But I'm glad to see that there is still no bashing or name-calling here. You'll see many names over and over again, and thankfully, I haven't picked up any nasty vibes here. I also read the Depend site, and I think that one is pretty OK, too. I'll be looking forward to reading more of your stuff!
  14. I get mine from Wal-Mart, and it's really no hassle. Their prices are usually the best, although surprisingly enough, Wal-Mart pricing for Depends varies from store to store. I also use CVS Pharmacy since I have one of those frequent shopper cards. Although Depends is my main brand, I sometimes use the CVS brand, especially if they are on sale. CVS usually has the style and size I'm looking for.
  15. Yes, Diamondback 688, that's what I've heard. Mind you, I've never been there, so I can't say first hand. But reportedly, there's a section of Amsterdam where prostitution is perfectly legal. Apparently nobody will give you any hassle. And who knows, maybe anything goes there!
  16. Of course, we're assuming that this would be completely legal, such as it is in Holland!
  17. Where I live in central Florida, driving is a must. Although I like to walk, there is no place nearby where I can walk to, and to find a place where you enjoy walking, it's necessary to drive there! Those of you who live where there is good public transportation available are lucky. If I could live in a place that had public transportation, I would join you!
  18. Medium has always worked for me. The large size is a bit too large, especially when I buy the Depend brand. But when I've bought the extra absorbency pull-up panties in the past, the medium size was adequate. For the same product, the packaging proclaims it has a "more underwear-like" fit. The mediums was just a bit tight in front, although still wearable, but when I buy that product now, the large size gives me more room "where it counts."
  19. Great minds do think alike! It seems she is wearing something and my first thought was a diaper. But Botox suggested a belted undergarment, which is also likely. But unless the shadows and lighting are playing tricks, the girl is well "protected!"
  20. Nothing really fancy here. I usually wear Depends, so I am In Depends (InDpnds). Sometimes I wear another brand, but I always prefer Depends
  21. Sounds like Jason is really hooked now! And I'm sure all of your readers are also hooked, as well. I liked the way you had other restaurant patrons also playing a part in the story, especially the six-year-old girl. That was worth the price of admission in itself! I'm looking forward to what happens the first time he goes to Cathy's house. Keep up the good work!
  22. I agree with what Baby D says. But you may also want to bring along small, white plastic garbage bags, they are very easy to pack and carry, or go to a Big Box and check out diaper disposal bags in the kids section. By knotting the bags up tightly, you can even throw it in your room wastebasket and still be completely sanitary about the process. And Baby D had good thought - after all, you aren't going to know anyone there in the hotel, especially whoever comes to clean your room. Of all the times I've stayed in hotels and motels, I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've run into the maid taking care of my room, if indeed, that many times! So, enjoy your trip and just use common sense in disposing your diapers. It will all work out!
  23. Cathy is really quite the salesperson! Having gone this far, I really can't see Jason not getting into THE PROGRAM, although I wonder just what the qualifications are. That notwithstanding, I think Jason will have some help from Cathy in getting admitted. And if I'm reading what Cathy is telling Jason right, it really is like an exclusive club. But I'm sure all of us are eagerly waiting to hear more. JBonn, you are a master of suspense!
  24. THE PROGRAM! Now, you've really got my curiosity stirred up. I can't wait to see what that is, and what Jason has gotten himself into this time! Is he going to be sorry? Or is this the start of something great? But Cathy sounds like quite an industry maven, as it were. And I think you obviously know a thing or two about the disposable diaper industry, as well. I kept thinking Glenndale has money to burn since they use some of those expensive imports for the demonstration that Jason saw! I was amazed to read about how much they absorb. But like Cathy, I really can't recommend the store brands, either! Keep up the good work and I think we are all ready to find out about THE PROGRAM!
  25. By far, my favorite brand is Depends. For me, they are better than the expensive brands that you can only order from an out-of-state distributor and then have to wait a few days for them to come. Depends are easy to buy at a big box or supermarket, etc., and they come in different styles that you can use depending on the level of absorbency you need. At least for me, Depends are reliable and they are reasonably priced. Even so, coupons for $1 or $2 off are relatively easy to find.
