  1. Hey I understand. Should you change your mind at a later date consider what works for me. My experience with a UTI is don't wait for it to happen, Whether it by catheter play or using a stent I start a regiment of cranberry juice or cranberry pills the second I start with either. Over twenty years of play only one trip to the docs for a UTI and that was before I learned to be proactive with the juice or pills. Oh yea there was the one trip to the ER to remove a stent that got away from me. Again lesson learned, use a stronger attachment point and a retrieval line that can't slide inside.
  2. I take meds daily that allow me to have better control over my bowels. Without the meds I’m very loose, sometimes uncontrollable. Also, I drink a large volume of water something I often due to help with DL fetish. The extra fluid intake also helps to soften my bowel movement. The more fluids the looser things are. When I wear by tunnel plug it can be quite interesting. One minute nothing and the next it’s a warm flood of fluids. I’ve grown to love the feeling but not the smell. That’s wear oatmeal comes in. I can mix up a firm batch and using my large syringe inject this inside. Diaper up then load up on the fluids. Now with little risk of the unpleasant odors I can head out running errands and not worry about the embarrassing odors.
  3. Cute photo and not far from the truth. The very last thing I ever want to do is call tech support, Especially for a Dell personal product. Believe it not one of the questions they may ask you is have you plugged it in yet. Business support was US based, not sure if they they switched that recently.
  4. For a store brand they were decent diapers too.
  5. Love to know the secret, perhaps it could help others? Sounds like it was excising that help you? Oh and remind me to keep my nuts away from your but!
  6. You can always tie a string to the plug, as a just in case emergency cord, I do. Great post and I enjoy the hollow plug thing too. For me its much easier to release as I have some difficulties back there. For me I love the feeling of it happening and having no control over it. BTW you appear new to the board so welcome aboard.
  7. I'm late to the party but the two most important thing about catheter play is clean, clean and clean again. Especially the head of your penis. Rule #2 is if it hurts, stop and try again later. The first few times you will feel some discomfort while inserting and removing. Like anything else, the more you do it the easier it becomes.
  8. Cathdiap, it almost sounds like your urine is being diverted or forced in to your bowels. If you were not using your stent would you have the same issue on a long walk?
  9. Both comments are so true! Especially true to me is the insane world we live in today. Wearing and using diapers helps to shield me from the craziness of the modern world. If not for the respect for my wife I would be using my stent a whole lot more! I'm getting older now, with every check up my doc will ask me 'any trouble evacuating by bladder'. The short answer is no but in my mind I'm thinking before I start taking any meds I will reach for my stent!
  10. Its two fold, yes so you can feel the flow and also with the opening being just below the balloon the flow is flushing out any contaminants hope preventing a UTI.
  11. The larger the cath the easier it will be to cut a second opening. The clear caths do make it easier. I would give a 16 FR a go. As an adult you will not have an issue with the size.
  12. Yes is a 12 FR is considered a child's size. The smaller size will make it more difficult to cut the opening. You will find a 16FR to be much easier to modify. For an adult a 16FR will normally not be an issues. As for how to, I use the mostly clear silicon caths holding it up to a light to understand where the fill line is positioned. Some find folding the cath to better position the fill line. Its a trial and error process, you'll get the hang of it .
  13. Same issues here, for me an afternoon nap can be 20 minutes to a few hours depending on the weather outside. When the nap goes longer and the pressure has not reached that point where it starts to leak while laying on my back I get a massive flood when standing. While very real depending on what I am wearing (normally a Pull Up diaper) the flood will likely exceed diapers capacity in the short distance to the bath room. Oh well! I will have to revisit the design by Cathdiap. Years back was using this dual bend design but later switched over to the 5.5" cutoff catheter design. Easier to make, easy to replace
  14. Perhaps I'm over kill on this but I soak my stent in 90% alcohol for fifteen minutes then allow to air dry for another fifteen minutes. When I say air dry the stent is hanging by the retrieval line, nothing touching the stent. I do not touch the stent until I have thoroughly washed my hands and penis with an antibacterial soap then dried with paper towel. A UTI is no fun and can quickly elevate to serious matter in a short time. Cathdiap: in a way I envy you having the home to yourself. In the summer months I enjoy the warmth and the ability to do the same while the wife is sleeping late.
  15. O2binspired; following your link dose this gizmo have a motor in the catch to pump the urine out? rlaehduq9606; If you have questions this is the place to ask. Consider the suggestions of those have gone before you, many of us to the hospital. Then carefully evaluate your risk before doing this stuff. While it can be very enjoyable there is a risk with every pleasure we chose!
  16. From personal experience you may need a tad more fluid in the balloon to hold this in place. Also the cut at the 40mm mark in your design may cut in to you some. I poke a hole in the cap and let the retrial cord and fluids run out there. After cutting the cath at length I use a blunt needle to fill the balloon. Then using forceps to clamp the new stent I will add a snip of solid round plastic to plug the fill line. I use sterile KY to fill the balloon. Be safe and use a cord that is not going to break. I prefer an O ring that will fit over my shaft when the stent is in place. This way less is hanging to get caught or pulled while changing. Nice work ! Here is what use most of the time.
  17. Don't remember the brand but they were plastic backed and green. Very noisy and way oversized for me at the time. I think I brought a medium size when a small would do. This was when the kids were still living at home and the wife was unaware of my diaper fetish so everything was at risk. Fast forward 25+ years, the kids have grown and moved on, the wife is diaper aware and life is good.
  18. I find the same issue. For me I believe its fear of wetting the bed that wakes me and prevents me from getting back to sleep until I change in to something dry.
  19. Bluedbk, like the rest of us you learned the hard way how a UTI happens Now a days I'm very careful with my pre-cleaning routine. Been 10 maybe 15 years since my last UTI. Stay wet and play safe!
  20. Plus one on SiliconeNozzles.Com, they offer some great products and I could see how something from there could lend itself towards a stent
  21. This idea is not so far off. I read a gardening tip that suggested to place the contents of a diaper in the planting hole. The idea is the diaper fill will hold the moisture around the root ball. The plastic is not so good for the planting. Back to the disposal issue, yes a weeks worth of used diapers can add up to the point where I will use more than one can mixing in household trash in the same bag/can to disguise the soggy diapers. Dark colored trash bags are preferred but most kitchen trash bags are white but lucky not transparent. The age of plastic shopping bags is slowly coming to an end. Good for the environment bad for me. I will normally use one bag to one or two diapers before adding to the household disposable bag(s). Up to now there has always been an ample supply of those shopping bags around the house. Of course there is always cloth diapers but I much prefer the squishy feeling of a good disposable diaper. Out trash pickup is curbside. Often something falling from the back of the truck is left for the homeowner to cleanup. I always have this fear my used diapers will end up on the street for all to see. Thanks goodness its not happened.
  22. Dieting is tough work. I managed to drop 20Lbs and keep it off for 90 days. But with the cold weather and lack of outdoor activity I've regained 5Lbs. My booze intake has a lot to do with it. Being down 20lbs was nice as my older Suprima pants were fitting nicely. Sort of gives me goal to work towards again. The more weight I can loose the thicker or heavier my diapers can be while fitting in my Suprima Pants. For the record fresh right out of the oven fresh dough pretzels are my weak spot!
  23. Arrest warrant or a seizure of property, either way the debtor got their point across to pay your bill. All 4.6 million of it. There is so much bad debit in this country. What is so upsetting is you and I, the little guys either pay our bills of go without. Two years back I had a customer close up leaving us $400K to collect, We managed over the next two years to recover all by $40K. The big winner in all this was the attorneys who got paid directly from the recovered funds.
  24. Well Doogles Your not the first and probably not going to be the last to loose your stent. Glad your OK. I had the same happen to me. At the hospital I was knocked out and told they were going to try retrieving the lost pull line but were ready for surgery if necessary. I was lucky and avoided the surgery ending up with a sore urethra and a lot of bleeding. The embarrassment was level ten. I wore a hat over my head pulled down tight up to the last minute to hide my sorry face. After I came to in the recovery room without control I peed the bed. More embarrassment. They then told me I could not drive myself home. (I had no plans on bring the wife in on this mess.) I said I'll walk. They said nope can't do that either. I made a break for the door and that's when things got ugly. I bolted across the fields of the hospital grounds and in to the surrounding woods. Leaving my car in the ER parking garage. Next thing I know there are four police cars looking zooming in to the area. I think to myself "hey genus they know where you live", LOL. When I got to my home street I fully expected to see a police car waiting at my door. I guess in reality I did not commit any crimes and the police never contacted me. To this day, ten years later I have not told my wife. I went back to stent use about three months later. Like you said I use a double line made with ten pound test braided fishing line. This is connected to a rubber O ring that fits over my shaft. I keep the line just long enough to accommodate any night-time growth but no longer. @cathdiap, your a braver man that I going without a pull line With Covid still in play I have limited my stent play. I'm not looking to go back to the ER at any cost. My after medical insurance cost was something like $2200.00 US.
  25. Watch those old stuff comments, I have 12 years on you youngster. On a brighter note I love your stent designs and have followed your work over the years. Looking forward to hearing how this new design works out. Please be sure to post updates for us. Good to see some fresh activity on this subject too. Stay healthy all.
