  1. I only notice when it’s near time to change. It all just happens
  2. Now that you’ve thrown away your underware make sure to never ever use the toilet again for any reason regardless of the situation. Your diaper is the replacement.
  3. Yeah, give up on Bambino & go to Northshore. I guarantee you that they would have jumped on the problem right away. If you need diapers you cannot be without them. They understand that. Until then stay on Bambino to get the issue resolved.
  4. Just now at work. 6:30am currently & I will change at 10am
  5. Never ever help it by pushing. Do your best to let it happen in its own. Over time you will train the mind to just automatically release. What you’ll do is train the mind to not signal it anymore.
  6. I very much enjoy being in a dirty diaper. I have regular changing times that I never waiver from. Generally I will poop within a short time of changing & that may mean another 6-7 hours before I change again. That happens at least 3 times in any given 24 hour period. So my diaper will most always be a dirty one. I wouldn’t want it any other way these days.
  7. Because I don’t see anyone else saying anything. They are a good company & if I’m the only one with problems maybe it’s only me? I don’t want to stir any pot
  8. I’ve always liked ConfiDry but have changed to Megamax. Megamax diapers are nice but about 7-8 hours the absorbent core seems to break up into clumps but so far no leaks. The confidry never did this. I’ve not complained to NorthShore about it but breaking up into clumps is a sign of a cheap product. NorthShore is a stand up company & I hope they do something about it.
  9. Don’t concern yourself about going to the Drs office in a diaper. This is just another lesson in management and how you react. You need to face it to get used to it. If for some reason the dr finds out they will ask if there is something they can do to help. It’ll be at that moment you’ll need to decide what your reply will be. Honesty is the best policy. After that just opt to not discuss it further. Remember, what is said in that room stays in that room. It may go into your file but it’s not going all over town.
  10. It’s amazing how often this question is asked. So many people are interested in incontinence. The answer is yes you can become incontinent but it takes work to achieve it. You need to be dedicated and 100% sure this is something you truly want. If not you will never truly lose full control. What you didn’t say is if you need urinary or bowel incontinence. Or both?
  11. Self induced incontinence certainly doesn’t happen overnight. For those who think they want it today and change their minds 2 months from now will probably be just fine. They tried & found that it was just a passing phase. Then there are those that try & find that yes this was a missing link in their life and work to become fully incontinent. It’s not so much for fun. Rather it’s to feel normal. Urinary or bowel it’s more for normal than any type of excitement. Many times it’s not any thrill to wear a diaper either. The diaper is just a tool. Therefore maybe you don’t understand it and shouldn’t write any kind of disclaimer. People sought this site to answer internal questions about it so they have some type of need long before they got here. So yes I encourage them to try if they want and I’ll always be happy to help if they so desire. Case in point, I know one person out here that has binged & purged for the better part of 20 years. That person is so conflicted about it that it affects everyday life. When that person binges life becomes less stressful and starts moving forward. Then something happens and the person stops. Soon after the person becomes conflicted again. It’s that deep seeded need to be incontinent that drives it. Personally I know what that need is and acted on it years ago and life is normal and good. I cannot change back anymore nor would I want to. There is no thrill in it for me at all. There are many just like me out there that are not open enough to discuss it but they are there. So let them come here without any disclaimers from those who may be against it. Let them try to determine if lifelong incontinence is for them without adding to any more stress to them.
  12. I echo your thoughts. No doubt it’s a deep seeded need for some and it’s highly unlikely they would want to reverse it. I’m that way
  13. I’m not sure what your rant is about but if you want to become incontinent then go for it. There are many people out here to help with your journey. Sure here are some that are against it but pay no attention to them and just scroll on.
  14. While I’m already urinary incontinent due to medical reason I chose to become bowel incontinent. It took me upward of 5 years before the goal was achieved. 5 long years. It’s hard to trick the brain to be sure. But it can be done. I do not believe I could turn it back (not that I want to) I too would never suggest hurting your body in some way to achieve it. And in that 5 years I learned a lot of management skills in dealing with different situations that you’ll need to know.
  15. Bravo to you for at least attempting to understand it and even willing to try them. Caution to you would be find something comfortable. You could be turned off by wearing diapers if they don’t fit properly so it could very well require many different samples. Once you find something that is comfortable then wear that type for a week or two. You’ll be able to gauge if it’s something for you or not but at least you’ll have a better understanding.
  16. Extremely well said! If you’ve taken the precautions to minimize odors you cannot worry or care about dropping a load in public. Lots of people do lots of things in public that others don’t like but we all need to just live & let live. If my body needs to evacuate then it just does. I cannot stop it. I never get any looks from others that I notice but I really don’t pay attention.
  17. Sure. I had to throw out things like the odors associated. I just couldn’t worry about that but do what I could to minimize it. The type of clothing. I almost always wear overalls. Going somewhere just on a whim. Doing an enema if I were to go to a large social gathering which gives me about 36 to 48 hours before I’ll poop again. Staying clear of things like caffeine so consistency is always correct. It was work then but zero worries today.
  18. There were so many things I had to throw out the window or at least do what I could to achieve this. The need was so much stronger than the worry about odors & such. I do everything I can to minimize all the social taboos and I feel I do a pretty good job of it. That being said if I couldn’t do anything it wouldn’t change my outlook. The positives for me far outweigh the negatives. I also understand there are many that would like to follow my path but life gets in the way. I feel bad for them as they must be very conflicted.
  19. You do a much better job explaining what could be some of the reasons for it than I ever could begin to. What I know for sure is that now completely dual I’m in a much better place for it.
  20. I completely agree with your term of a missing piece of a puzzle. Nothing more true than that. When I became urinary incontinent and wrapped my head around it there was that missing piece or need for bowel incontinence as well. 5 years later I started on that journey and have since never looked back and am much happier for it.
  21. MegaMax, Dry 24/7. Both with a booster in the front half for urinary incontinence. Both have tall leg guards that work well for containment. A good PUL covering if you are confined to sitting because you will get an eventual leak around the legs. Pull ups won’t generally work for bowel incontinence
