  1. Kudos to Angela for going a little deeper into the Hollywood side of this topic. Back to the thread: My vote would be for Kat Dennings or Jessica Biel. Though honestly, ANY of the leading actresses would do it for me. Just sayin'.
  2. I find myself doing this quite a lot. Honestly, diapers just have such a sexual appeal to me. Show me a naked or half-naked woman, and I'll think "That's nice," but show me that same woman in a disposable diaper and I'll be in a state of rapture. And no, I don't think this isn't a perverse thing. We all have desires and we all look, even if we're in a committed relationship.
  3. I've almost gotten to the point where I can't fall asleep without being diapered. Usually, I won't wet it, as I like the dry padding just fine. If I do use it, I'll wet it before I go to bed and then change out of it in the morning. As for brands, I generally get store brands like CVS Fitted Briefs or Depends (although I've recently been converted to the wonder of Attends).
  4. This has all been very helpful information. Ultimately, though, I'd have to pass on being diapered at the gym. I really only go for yoga, and I prefer to keep myself as unencumbered as possible when I work out (a habit I developed from eight years practicing gymnastics as a kid). Wearing a diaper for me would just be another distraction, and the point of doing yoga is to be entirely free of them. In any case, I find that I prefer my current routine of wearing only at night as a stress reliever. Still, I appreciate everyone's opinion on the matter. Thanks a lot!
  5. I've contemplated doing this a couple of times, but I'm always hesitant. At this point, I've worn diapers under my clothes while among friends and family, at work, in class, and while driving. The only thing that would make me unsure about diapers at the gym is that: 1) My gym clothes are very loose and my diaper is rather noisy (I wear a CVS Fitted Brief) 2) I think that wearing a diaper might get in the way of doing some of my more strenuous exercises, like in my yoga class Has anyone else ever worn to the gym successfully? If so, are there any DLs who've done a yoga workout in diapers without too much difficulty?
  6. I find it's hard for me to go while driving. Generally, anytime I sit or lie down is difficult, as well. I think it may have something to do with male anatomy and how we're trained to use the toilet, so we're just conditioned to go only in a certain posture. Also, how easy is it to be relaxed while driving when you consider all the stimuli you have to take in, not to mention the people on the road who maybe shouldn't be driving?

    Inauguaration

Diapers at the inauguration? And people say Obama couldn't bring change to Washington (because quite a lot of people will be "changing").
  8. I started reading this story just this morning, and I have to say I was pretty riveted. I liked the character development, and I really want to see where the dynamics between Mio and Amy are going. Please keep it up!

    In 2009...

Since my satisfaction with diapers isn't always about wetting them as much as the pleasure of wearing them, I'm resolved to simply wear more often and farther beyond the confines of home (I usually wear only at night, just to help me fall asleep). I also have to take care of more things this year, as I'll be graduating soon, and hopefully living with some roommates in our own place. That said, I need to find a steady job, get some bills paid, and maybe get started on finding that special someone in my life (though she need not be into the ABDL scene like me, just so long as she can respect it).

    Are You A Shy Baby?

I tend to hide my supply in my closet, usually deep enough to stay out of sight if the door should happen to be open. I've worn outside of my house and my on-campus apartment (though very infrequently; I usually just wear them at night or when I'm completely on my own). And beyond people online, the only other person I've ever told this was to my aunt, who was very accepting and understanding, and though we've never spoken of it since, I know deep down she's fine with it. Beyond that one pillar of acceptance, I haven't felt the need to tell anyone else (though I may tell any future girlfriends of mine).
  11. Although it's become repetitive on this board, it's boxer-briefs for me (though I have to admit, I don't wear diapers as much as I'd like to, what with my limited opportunities for wearing and not always enough money on hand to afford them).
  12. I generally go for tight. Haven't had to deal with leaks too much.
  13. I find I've gotten better at typing the word, but saying it aloud... Then again, I'm not the most talkative or extroverted person to begin with, so I guess it makes sense for me to have an easier time writing it than saying it.
  14. "I know you're a kind and loving God, but... why did you have to allow for a world with Fred Phelps and Pat Robertson in it?"
  15. I agree that spreading out time for diapers does seem to help me control my need for them. All or Nothing is something that only works in extreme situations. I realized a while ago that wearing them every night made me feel Depend-ent on them (forgive the pun) and trying to go without indefinitely only made me yearn for that feeling of comfort. So now I just wear on the weekends and at night, which to me is the best part of the weekend anyway.

    Singles Scene

I went with Option 2, mostly because I feel that the ABDL side should not be a major factor in that special someone in my life, whoever they turn out to be. I'd rather have someone who I bond with a much deeper level than someone who simply shared my interest in diapers. Also, I find that people who don't know or understand this aspect of our lives can be willing to accept it based on how you choose to explain it to them and the relationship you have with them. While I might find it easy to talk with someone like, say, my aunt (with whom I have a lot in common and talk frequently about any number of subjects close to my heart) than someone I don't have that kind of bond, trust, or intimacy with (like someone I've only been dating for a few weeks).
  17. Since I'm trying to wear diapers only some of the time (usually on the weekends and at night), I prefer them to be quiet and comfortable. Wet or dry depends on my general mood at night, and how much I want to just let go...
  18. I have to admit that I usually go for pics and videos when I get those odd urges, though I find it occurring less and less now I wear diapers to bed (and on the rare occasion during the day). I think it has something to do with our need for distractions or gratification or raw sensations. But hey, whatver works for you...
  19. Well, right now my top two bands are Muse and Green Day, but I also enjoy a lot of Sixties and Seventies Rock. For the most part, I'll listen to anything except hip-hop or country.
  20. Love! (Except for the videos where people trick you into watching something you didn't want to see) How about... The Star Wars Trilogy?
  21. Of the Depends products I've tried, the one that most satisfies me is the Fitted Maximum Protection diaper. It holds everything in for me and relies on tapes instead of being just a pull-up (so I can adjust it on myself). My only complaint--and this is just a matter of taste--is that it has a plastic cover instead of the soft fabric found in Goodnites and other pull-ups. I guess I just prefer the soft feel of the diaper both on the inside and outside.
  22. I would say for me, it comes down to a lifestyle. For a while, I was doing something similar that you were describing, turtlepins: keeping the DL side as something distinct from my "real" life. But when I finally told a close relative about it--one of my aunts, whom I love dearly--I learned to accept and embrace that side of myself. Now, I just take diapers as another part of my easygoing, poetry-seeking, artistically creative, and eccentric existence.
