  1. Today is the 43rd anniversary of Operation Eagle Claw…the failed hostage rescue mission in Iran. R.I.P. to the 8 guys who burned to death at Desert One.

  2. Today marks the 50-year anniversary of American combat troops leaving Vietnam.   Please take a moment to think kindly upon the veterans who served, and all those who didn’t come home. ?

      ~Brian~

thank you for that information! I know that for example my father served in Vietnam and there's a lot of other people that did as well. I'm also a very lucky guy that my father came home! there are many people who serve their country that do not come home after they end up serving their country, and they give the ultimate sacrifice. I always am very very proud of those who served because they keep us safe from the craziness around us, and I'll always remember those that have served, Or are serving, and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

from what I understand about what happened in Vietnam, from all of the news reports that happened, and all the things that happened, all I can tell you is that what understand it was hell! I'm so lucky to be able to say that my dad did come home, And that he did serve in Vietnam, in the Navy, and was able to come home, but I'll always know that each individual that served in the conflict has their own situations and issues that they have dealt with, and they have served their country with distinction, And I thank everyone for their service regardless of where they have served, but with Vietnam, we know that there were people which did not come home, or were injured, And not only that, but the injuries are far more than just physical injuries, because they could be emotional mental or psychological, you name it. That is why I want to make sure that whatever happens, when someone serves their country, that the military and the government take care of them, because without the sacrifices of many people who who decided to serve their country, we would not be able to be and do what we have done for many years. My main concern is regardless of what they do and how they've served I would hope that the government takes care of them and does it well, because they have done what they were supposed to do, and we have a debt of gratitude that we owe the soldiers who have served.

I know for example that my dad would say to me that he did serve in the military, did go to Vietnam, but that is about as far as he's willing to go, and I respect him for that. A lot of people that go into war zones and deal with that type of stuff deal with problems that we probably would not be able to fathom, as they try to deal with ghosts and goblins in their heads, and other things that cause them PTSD and other things: because of stuff in Vietnam, I have a better understanding that many people regardless of what war they serve in that have problems that we may never be able to understand.

For those that served in Vietnam I salute you all, And for all of those who serve in other conflicts I also salute you, but It is my continued hope that veterans that served their country are taken care of: we have the ability to do it, and we have the moral ability and the ethical responsibility to take care of our soldiers who have served their country and done what we have asked them to do. regardless of whether they May have their issues, we need to make sure they are taken care of! for without them we would not be safe and be able to do say believe and think what we do And we would not have a safe place to be able to do such things.

When I think of my family that have served who are veterans, I always remember that they serve their country during whatever conflict it was, and they went because they felt the need to go. my brother also I served in Afghanistan and Kuwait people that have served in Saudi Arabia that I went to school with, during the Iraq conflict. regardless of what war they served in or how much time they served, they deserve to be taken care of in an appropriate manner, And for every single person that has served their country I say:

THANK YOU for helping us stay safe and for keeping us that way!

May God bless all those who served in this difficult war.

They went as boys came home men.

And to those who never came home May they all rest in peace

It is quite one heck of an achievement especially 15 years service! Congratulations Congratulations!

When you have to put on your admin, sometimes it is because you think it is appropriate,, and sometimes you have to be tough, while other times you may not have to be as tough, but you end up giving the warning, just, just like a father would.

Thank you for all you do and who you are, you are an incredible person and I'm sure there are many people who would agree with it!

  5. Happy Birthday to this website ! 23 years !

    1. ~Brian~

      ~Brian~

Wow! What an achievement 23 years! Congratulations to Mikey and the entire daily diapers team. As a side note, I was 23 back in 1995, so you can just about imagine how long that is! I remember when I first was dealing with the feelings I was, and I was searching the Internet, and I found a whole bunch of sites they're related to the fetish diapers and everything else. Not sure if DD was around back then, but I quickly learned that as Mikey says, the other website, is not as accurate or as helpful as other particular websites that are in the World Wide Web. Daily diapers is one that I respect, one that I donate to when I have the money, and that I will continue to support as long as it takes . We are a good team of individuals, we love each other, and we are like a family, so happy birthday to daily diapers 23 years and going strong !

thank you spoon for telling us about this! I've only been here for three years as an active member, but I've been here before that, I just didn't have the gumption to sign on and be as open as I am now, because I was a young kid back then, and didn't realize what was going on: because of daily diapers, and because of people in this community, I respect them, I accept my situation, and I live it everyday and I haven't regretted it one pound ever since I began doing it 24 hours a day in 2020

OK: so who gets the cake! I wonder what flavor of cake Mikey would want to make, or how we would be able to have a huge party, but that would be awesome if we're able to do that!

      Kind and loving regards!

      Briam

  6. Star Trek Death....Nichelle Nichols ( Lt.Uhura)  passed away today...she lived long and prospered for as long as she could

    1. ~Brian~

      ~Brian~

Spoon:  Lieutenant uhura is a legend in everyone's mind if they are true Star Trek fans. I read the article that announced her death yesterday, and one of the things that I found interesting was that she wanted to we have Star Trek TOS. She said she met Martin Luther King junior, and after she did that, he told her to stay in Star trek because she is a star and she was a groundbreaker. From what I see she was also a lovely lady who tried to do her very best, and it sounds like she loved the series. Her character has evolved and had evolved from the beginning, and she is indispensable if you are a ship captain because she keeps you on your toes and make sure all communications are monitored and taken care of.

Nichelle Nichols herself sounds like she had a very busy and full life. She will be missed, and I believe the only people that are alive would be:chekov, Sulu, Kirk, and Kyle . I believe most of the original series cast other than these are no longer with us but I can tell you every time we see a Star Trek death it kind of reminds me that they were stars in their time and they were groundbreakers, but nichelle Nichols being the first black actress to play her character was incredible. If you remember the original pilot where majel Barrett roddenberry played number one, NBC requested another pilot because they thought that was really weird having a first officer that was a woman, or having her as the second moon command of a ship. In the new pilot, of course Spock is the science officer and also the first officer, so both of those series were groundbreakers, and those will always be remembered in my Star Trek numbering scheme , I believe that the cage was numbered 099 . I'll always remember her as a character, and also remember her as a person an incredible woman who had a lot of drive and who will greatly be missed .

  15. Remember to change the batteries in your smoke & CO detectors ! You're supposed to do it every 6 months, and coordinating it with the clock change is the easiest way to remember

    1. ~Brian~

      ~Brian~

Thank you for the reminder: it is always good to set your clocks ahead or back, and then always change your smoke alarm in CO batteries. Because mine are hardwired, I don’t have to worry about the batteries, but I do have batteries in both of them. I end up having them change when I hear them start chirping. When they start doing that all I do is jump, so I feel like I wanna rip the thing off the wall, but I know that they are there for a reason – so I have them changed when it starts doing that!

      ???????
