  3. I have been legal to buy alcohol almost twice as long as it is to be legal to buy alcohol, and i still feel young.
  4. I've been wearing diapers and plastic pants since I was 13, 60 now.
  5. I started having wet nights back in '08 and have worn diapers and plastic pants to bed since. Now, because of a job that is time sensitive, I wear during the day as well.

  7. I use ATNs at night and Slimlines during the day.
  8. I talked with Burch on Tuesday. They are waiting for a vinyl shipment so they can make more medium 230s. I don't know about finances but they have moved to a much smaller location. I have used their plastic pants for years and I'd hate to have to switch to another brand.
  9. I use Walgreens Jumbo-sized baby diapers for my inner diaper. With the baby diaper still folded, I slit three rows about two inches long, two rows on the front and one on the back, and use this diaper as a soaker for my Tranquility ATNs. This combination rarely fails me and I get that nice bulky feeling as the diaper expands with each wetting. It's amazing how much these baby diapers will hold and how heavy they become even as they let the wetness seep into my ATN diaper. I wear Tranquility Slimlines as my daytime diaper and if I will be out for an extended period of time I will use the baby diaper combination and not worry about leaks. I also use baby-sized diaper pins to make sure the tapes don't fail.
  10. I'll be 60 on my next birthday and I have been back to diapers since I was 13. I purged many times as a teen (always after a "pleasuring") but it was some time in my 20s that I realized this wasn't going away. The last diapers I threw out were some cloth-backed Tenas that I didn't like at all (expensive mistake in buying). During the summer of 2008 I started wetting in my sleep. I began wearing diapers and plastic pants at night and I can only think of two nights I haven't worn diapers to bed in all that time. I usually get diapered around 4PM and will stay diapered until 7 or 8AM. I enjoy my diaper time and definitely prefer diapers to underwear. For me, the peaks and valleys of diaper wearing are gone. I have gone through lengthy periods of 24/7 but when daytime urges wain there still is the nighttime need. As like many of us, I feel I was born with this desire to be in diapers and plastic pants and look forward to each new diaper I wear.
  11. Me too! Tranquility ATN, baby diaper stuffer and Comco plastic pants. Happy New Year.
  12. As my diaper wearing has increased, I have experienced the same feelings of wondering why do I do this. I recently turned 59 and I have been using diapers since I was 13. I am comfortable being in diapers even when the diaper becomes uncomfortable. I wear diapers every night and most of the time during the day. I use my diapers only for wetting and have to remind myself at times that I am not wearing one. Even after all these years, I love the sensation of wearing and using my diapers. I began wearing diapers and plastic pants because I wanted to and if it develops into a full-time need then I'm OK with that too. When I develop diaper rash or the diaper pinches between my legs or I feel too tired to put a diaper on at night, I do it anyway. After all, no one has ever forced me to wear diapers, I am the one who has wanted to wear diapers and plastic pants all these years so I accept the comfortable with the uncomfortable.
  13. I have found success listening to diaper files on warpmymind. I now wear diapers and plastic pants to bed every night and have done so for more than 3 years. As others have said, success, I think, is the result of what you want. It took a while for the files to have any result. I have been listening to them for more than 4 years. At first i would listen in my car but you really can't go into trance while you are driving. Then I started working from home. I would play the files over and over as background noise when I suddenly realized I was "waking up" with the countdowns at the end of the files. I thought I just fell asleep but then I started having nighttime accidents. I have been a DL since my early teens so wearing diapers and plastic pants has always been pleasurable for me. When the wetting started I began wearing them to bed at night and waking up on many occasions with them wet and not remembering any incident. It got to the point where I would wet whether I was diapered or not, whether I had liquids before bed or not and whether I was really tired or not. I am a believer in the files. Do they work because I can go into trance or because I want them to or both, I don't know. All I do know is that every night around 4PM, with my wife's blessing, I go to our spare bedroom and diaper myself for the night. It doesn't matter what else is going on I know I must wear diapers or risk wetting the bed. If I ever feel that I don't want to put on a diaper I remind myself that I love to wear diapers, that I need to wear diapers and most important- I am the one who wanted to wear diapers.
  14. I've worn ATNs with Comco plastic pants at night for years and have never experienced what you have. Like the others have said I wet several times at night and have had very few leaks. I wear a size 6 baby diaper as a stuffer and awoke this morning with an incredibly wet set of diapers with no clumping or leaking. I have trained myself to wet at night and the ATNs serve me well. I also wear the Tranquility Slimlines during the day with very satisfying results. For me, diapers have become a necessity at night and will probably be a necessity during the day, as I get older. The Tranquility products are the best I've used. I've never tried Abena, Molicare or Bambinos because Tranquilities fit my needs. We all have our preferences and Tranquility is mine.
  15. I use Walgreen's size 6 Premium baby diapers as a stuffer. For me, they have worked the best and are inexpensive. I use a razor blade to make slits in them so they drain into my Tranquility ATNs. I trained myself to be a bedwetter and have worn diapers to bed for the last three years. I've tried Luvs, Huggies and Parent Choice but the Walgreens seem to be bigger and better. For those of you with smaller frames I'd be interested to hear if you could wear these diapers.
  16. Being a product of the fifties it was always referred to as diapers and plastic pants. When I returned to diapers in the mid 60s disposables were just coming on the market and the largest baby disposables would not fit. So I wore Curitys and Gerber toddler plastic pants. The first adult disposables I found were made by Ambeze and they were terrible. But, other than Sears, there were no plastic pants readily available. This is all pre-internet and I felt I had to be the only one doing this. Then I found Attends and I was able to form three baby sized plastic snap on pants, snapped together, to fit over my diapers. Quite a configuration! Next I found VIPs and eventually Comco. So now I wear Tranquility ATNs at night and Slimlines during the day with Comco plastic pants. With these I wear a Walgreen's Jumbo baby diaper which I slit several times to use as a soaker. I am now at the point where I need to wear diapers and plastic pants to bed every night. I have trained myself to wet at night through the use of the Warpmymind diaper files and now wet during the day if diapered. Diapers and plastic pants are a lifestyle to me and I don't regret the steps I have taken. As I said, being a product of the fifties - diapers and plastic pants just go together!
  17. I started wetting at night over two years ago. My solution is to wear diapers and plastic pants to bed. I am a side sleeper and I too, am worried about leaks. I have tried every large baby diaper as a stuffer with not so good results. While the baby diaper did the job most nights there was still the occasional leaks. Then I found Walgreen's size 6 diapers. They are the largest baby diaper I have ever used, or at least they seem to be. I have used this diaper for about a year. When I first started using this diaper I would wet after waking, staying on my side, and slowly releasing my pee into the diaper. When finished I would remain on my side feeling for wetness outside my plastic pants. Satisfied there was none, I would drift back to sleep. About two months ago, I would waken to realize I had added more wetness to my diapers after falling back asleep. Then, about a month ago, I began sleeping through the night and waking up very wet. I have been a DL since I was 13, 58 now and have finally regressed to complete sleep wetting. I wear diapers often during the day and wet them as I need. Now that I'm working away from home, I don't get to wear daytime diapers as much as I would like. My combination that has been most successful is Tranquility ATNs, Walgreen's size 6 baby diapers and Comco plastic pants.
  18. Just changed out of a Tranquility ATN into a Tranquility Slimline. I also wear Comco plastic pants with my diapers.
  19. I was a baby in the early to mid 50s and all we had were cloth diapers. When I returned to diapers at age 13 disposables would not fit. I got caught because my wet cloth diapers were found while my room was being cleaned. The first adult disposables I found were called Ambeze, this was in the early 80s, and then I found Attends. Being a baby of the 50s, I like wearing plastic pants with my disposables and I don't find them any hotter to wear in the summer and I like the extra symbolism, diapers and plastic pants. As I get older, diapers and plastic pants have become a necessity at night and I love the convenience of disposables. I like the crinkling, the comfort and the capacity disposables offer. I also wear them during the day if I will be away from home for any length of time. For many of us, diapers have become a way of life. As I was laying out the diaper I'm now wearing I was thinking about how natural it is for me to put on diapers and plastic pants. No different than the pants and shirt I'm also wearing. I don't dislike cloth diapers, I just prefer disposable diapers.

    1 Year 24/7

I'm finding that being in diapers most of time is not a hassle for me. I started to wet my bed in the summer of '08 and I have been in diapers at night since that time. I have never felt like it is a hassle to "diaper up" and then continue my evening. I work from home so I spend the majority of my day in diapers, too. I wear diapers and plastic pants everywhere. I know that if I'm going to be away from the house for more than 2 hours I better be in a diaper. I don't use my diaper every time I have to pee, but if the need arises and there are no facilities, I just let go. I have been shopping many times when the need to go suddenly comes and have been very happy that I was wearing diapers. My comfort level in diapers is such that I wear diapers no matter where I am or whoever might be around. I don't flaunt that I wear diapers but I wouldn't deny it if someone were to ask. My usual diaper combo is Tranquility Slimline or ATN with a large baby disposable as a soaker. Yesterday I bought some Gerber cloth prefolds 20 x 14 and I added that diaper to my nightly combo. The extra bulk was noticeable but not uncomfortable. I think I'm going to like this new combo. Technically I'm not 24/7 but I definitely wear diapers every day.
  21. I hit a new milestone this morning. Walking 7.72 miles in two hours even. This spring has been fantastic so far. The fact we had no snow in March is unbelievable. March is generally our snowiest month. But it allowed so many of us to get on the trails a month earlier than normal and a chance to push ourselves harder. May will mark my two year anniversary with the Atkins diet. I have lost, and kept off, over 80 lbs and I feel great. I always use a bowling ball analogy when talking about weight loss. A full size bowling ball weighs 16 lbs and I have lost five times that amount. Now imagine putting five bowling balls into a bag and carrying them around all day. 80 lbs is also two bags of water softener salt. As I said before let's continue to encourage each other and applaud our successes.
  22. I know what everyone is talking about. Weight now is not an issue for me. Feeling better is paramount. My daily walk is consistently over five miles and coming closer to being over 6 miles daily. Today I went 6.67 miles in 110 minutes. That's an average speed of 3.64 mph. I know that I am burning more calories than I take in and even though the weight loss is slowing the muscle building is increasing, the stamina is increasing and my overall appearance is improving. My hat is off to everyone who is on this journey. It was far easier to get out of shape than it is to get back into shape. But as I used to say, I was in shape because round is a shape. Please continue to report your progress. This thread helps us all. We started watching "The Biggest Loser" this year, not because I was ever that out of shape, but because I know one of the contestants who is still in the game. It's an inspiration to watch his progress and to celebrate his successes. Just as it is an inspiration to read all of our progress and to celebrate all our successes.
  23. I use Tranquility Slimlines during day with Comco plastic pants. I wear these everywhere and use them everywhere. I can get three or four heavy wettings into these diapers without fear of leaks. I have been listening to Saranoga's Comfortable in Diapers on Warmymind for the past week. While I had made a conscious switch to daytime diapers some time ago, I now feel so Uncomfortable without diapers. Whatever diaper you find you like best stay with it. We all have our personal preferences. As I've stated before, AB/DLs today have it far easier than many of us had when we started. I returned to diapers, by choice, over 40 years ago. There was no internet, no disposables, no plastic pants designed for us, not much literature to support us, no talk of incontinence or bedwetting, and the feelings that we had to be the only one's in the world who had these feelings. Enjoy diapers and enjoy them as much as you like. We only go around once.
  24. I live in Minnesota and spring is coming to us. The snow is melting quickly (I know more is one the way) and more people are coming out of hibernation every day. I live in an area where we have many paved walking trails and even though we are metropolitan we have an abundance of wildlife in the area. For the last 10 days I been able to begin my daily walking regimen. The trails are still slippery in places (we had a lot of rain on Christmas Day) but every day they open up more as the sun gets higher and warmer. Yesterday I was able to walk just under 5 miles at a pretty good pace. I have always liked walking and having a large wildlife area increases the pleasure. In the past 10 days I have managed to drop 5 pounds. I started out doing a mile and a quarter and today I will probably top the 5 mile mark. I doubt I will ever go from medium diapers to a smaller size but since I started the Atkins diet and my exercise program nearly 2 years ago, I have maintained an 80 pound weight lose, I've gone from large to medium sized diapers, my plastic pants fit loosely and my sleep apnea has greatly improved. I would like to lose another 20 pounds before May. I wanted to reactivate this for those of us who have responded to this thread in the past. Let us know how your results are going and let's encourage each other in our efforts to reach our goals.
