  1. Last night, I went to a class at my local community market. We learned about quinoa, mung beans and chick peas. I will soon be making meals with them (especially hummus). Right now, for breakfast, I am eating banana ice cream. It's too easy to make if you have a juicer. Peel and freeze bananas. Send through juicer. Scoop with with spoon. No sugar or milk is necessary. No I wonder if papaya can do that, too. My choice of drink this morning is grape juice from real grapes. I just wish I can find grapes with seeds. I hate being forced to purchase genetically modified stuff. As far as cost is concerned, I don't look at it as paying more for my food. I am paying the price that food should cost. All the processed stuff is permanently discounted to get you to buy it and make a profit for the publicly traded food manufacturers and eventually the pharmaceutical companies by getting sick.
  2. Quoted from http://www.diabetesm...etes_causes.htm The causes of diabetes are not clearly known. There is still a mystery in it. Medical scientists are unable to tell, thats why some people suffer from diabetes while others do not. There are certain factors which may lead to diabetes. These factors are considered as risk factors and an individual must try to overcome them Diet, is ... a major factor responsible for causing diabetes. Eating too much of Carbohydrates, fats, proteins, are all harmful to the body. Our body in general needs a balanced diet to produce energy for performing vital functions. Too much of food, hampers the pancreas from performing its function of insulin secretion. Hence, with insufficient insulin secretion, the blood sugar level rises, leading to diabetes mellitus. Normally, people are in habit of eating foods rich in refined carbohydrates, like biscuits, bread, cakes, chocolate, ice creams, pudding, etc. So, the incidences of diabetes are increased in such persons.
  3. I wonder what happens when someone finally gets to 10 000 posts. I'm still surprised that I have over 1000. I am 58th in post count, but too far behind Abrera and some others to even make a run for 10 000.
  4. Like LuvsGurl said, you might wanna rethink your surger substitute. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Stevia is a good natural substitute. Or you can use honey. From a local apiary would be best, too. I drink my coffee black. It's better that way. Tea, too. When I'm in need of sugar, I like hunni. Or is it honee? honey?
  5. Ooh, ooh! Sign me up for Warnsaf! My bank account number is 8326482631032984487269.
  6. Of course! If that's all they know...and if that's all they see in everyone else...what else can you expect? They don't have a choice because they do not know about it.
  7. I take back what I said. Modern culture is going downhill, but only when compared to tomorrow's culture, because we keep getting better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better and better.
  8. Wow, this is an oooooold thread!
  9. Nice write up Zorroabdaddy. I never knew this place existed. I used to fish, hunt and hike (diapered of course) 4 miles away at Hidden Lake. The Rainbow Resort is on Mt. Nebo Rd. just outside of East Stroudsburg. It's about 10-15 minutes from Rt. 80.
  10. Yay! Did I win a Lifetime Membership to DailyDiapers? That would be the bestest!
  11. Modern culture can not be degraded, only transformed into modern culture, and that which was previously considered "modern" is now antiquated while the transformed is now "modern."
  12. Dang it! How about CMT Music Awards show. BTW, REALLY NICE BOOTS!
  13. That's it? You're not even going to tell us the answer? I demand an answer!
  14. Awesome. I hope they don't spray that with paint, now.
  15. I don't. I'm probably wrong. I thought I'd be married with kids by now, but I was wrong there.
  16. One day I will have kids. Three boys and two girls. I want to name the girls: Lillian Kaiulani and Sonja Elisabeth I've only thought of a Micah for one of the boys. I also prefer full names to nicknames. My mom rubbed off on me.
  17. But at least you've admitted to hosting a party. We'll be over for 4th of July.
  18. None of my family or friends will be in debt...ever...as long as there's some winnings leftover. I'd continue to work, though more of a part time basis. I love what I do. After debts are paid, I'd buy houses for my immediate family members, buy a house for myself, buy an airplane or possibly an airport. Maybe I'd open an AB/DL shuttle service to all the best diaper parties!!!!!
  19. I don't believe what I just watched. That is seriously insane. It's unimaginable. . . And I laughed!!!

    Jobs

I'm a flight instructor and tour pilot.
  21. Cool, thanks. I'm gonna work on some flight planning. I think that the distance is far enough that I'll have to make a fuel stop. And leave VERY early in the morning or fly a portion Saturday night. p.s. Does Mommy know that you're on the 'puter at 3am!!!!!?????
  22. Looks like the 27th for munch and a movie wins! Pray for good weather. The airplane and I are all set. The schedule has been blocked off. Pray for good weather. What time would you be leaving for the munch? I can fly into Central Jersey regional (formerly Kupper field) in Manville. Can I bum a ride from you? OR . . . for anyone else that may be attending, perhaps you're driving near a small airport and have the room for a hungry sissy. . . Wait, did I mention we should pray for good weather. It is completely possible that I can arrive late Saturday night, too, but I know that you'll be tired from tubing and a loooong drive.
  23. Dibs on the brunette!!! Oh, wait, she's not real. Never mind.
