No, you don't need college to build much these days, except computers, cell phones and video games. OTOH, you will need college if you want to run a company, and that is where the real fun is. Learn to get up early and use mass transit, you will be money ahead and have the funds you need for your classes. Take extra classes in spelling and grammar- if you cannot express yourself clearly and concisely you will never get ahead in the business world. Simply saying you suck at something is a self-fulfilling promise of failure. Kick some ass in your classes, and show the world you are different.

ABDL Store? Where? I travel to the bay area alot on business and I always end up packing in my own diapers. It would be nice to find a store that has high quality disposables. EVen better if there is one in South Bay.

I just picked up a pack of the Mens Tena pullups for $3.79 US. Not enough absorbent padding to be of real use- I sure wouldn't go out in public relying on those. Lucky for me I have an extra half pack of the big Abena stuffers.

Brain zaps are a normal part of weaning off Effexor and many people have these if the dosage is dropped too quickly. For me, the side effects of Effexor are far better than those I got from a number of other ADs.

I think this will boost the market for a certain class of "prosthetics". Imagine the look on the operator's face when you stand their with your 16 inch horsey hanging down your leg...

Effexor has given me the "gift" of IC as well. However, I am a much nicer person to be around when I'm medicated, so the diapers remain. This way my kids will know me as a loving and supportive father. Cheers!

I have found that most places selling scooters will also carry nappies. There used to be a great thread about the various nappy retailers around the UK- had lots of photos and everything. I can't seem to find it now- does anyone remember where it went?

... and for years, I hated my glasses too. Always getting wet in the rain, fogging when I'd come inside from the snow, how they kept me out of flight school in the USAF. I could rant on, but why? It won't change anything, but LASIK did. Now I have tried several "cures" for my IC, and none of them has worked completely. Some were rather painful as well, and the side effects of others were worse then wearing diapers. Diapers are just like my glasses- something I need in order to get by- except that I never forget where I keep my diapers. A lot of the dislike on Depend Forum has to do with the perception of people around us and how they respond to our condition. Like my Dr who keeps trying to push new prescriptions on to me because my clothing is "not normal". Or my wife who has been very supportive yet still says some very awkward things at times.

I will be flying again later this month, as will my father in law. I'm IC, he had a full urostomy years ago and pees into a bag held below his beltline. I'm just going down the coast, he is flying trans-pac (HI). I don't forsee any real issues with TSA, but I have been wrong before...

I travel 40-50% of the time, and it will be interesting to see how they deal with me now. In the past, they have always been very courteous when they go through my backpack, keeping my supplies under cover. We'll see how they behave now.

I spend about 2 weeks a month on the road, always flying. I always fly with diapers for medical reasons. This will only change my routine because of the reduction in carryons. My domestic trips have alwyas had me carrying a laptop & backpack, with no check-in luggage. My only worry is how the airlines will use this as an excuse to screw me with more fees.

I ordered a package of the AbriSan 7s, and a "sample pack" that also included #5s and #11s (XPlus) as well. I found the Midis to be too small on their own- leaking very quickly. The XPlus is rather oversized- might be good on an outing to the theater. The 7s are big but much thinner than the Tena pads. Far more comfortable and absorbent as well.

I hate the itchy stubble that results from a complete shave. Never got used to that, neither has my wife. She thinks I look "too weird" fully shaved. So I use my beard trimmer to keep the hair real short. That has cut down considerably on the odor issue. For wipes, I use Cottonelle as they are flushable.

So in the interest of being "PC" we need to make this an equal opportunity law. Think of what it would do for the economic recovery- as everyone has to go out and buy not only diapers, but discrete bags to haul around the spares and wipes and powder and paste. Then there are all those new pants we will need- one size bigger. We could have a whole governmental agency to deal with compliance- imagine the requirement to show your spare diapers along with the toothbrush baggy at the airport. Mandatory inspections at the ball game entrance and the movie theater.

My IC changes with the seasons, and so I am trying pads as I have grown weary of pullups and diapers. However, I need a BIG pad. What do you use? What do you buy at the local drugstore when your out of your normal selection? I have had a number of embarassing experiences with several store products so far, but the best to date has been the Tena Overnight pads. Anything else out there that is more absorbent?

I like the format of the XP Medical tests, with the dimensions and capacities in an easy to read table. However, I would like to see pads added to the list in their own category. Some of us use these ya know.

I love it- a thread on DD that has degraded into a pissing match. Who'd a thunk it? Mac vs. PC vs. Linux vs. Eunochs vs. WhatEver. Here is my take: Mac- training wheels for technology. Good for the technically ignorant. Linux- Perfect if you have lots of time and no money. Made by and for unemployed IT staffers. WinPC- For those with money but no time. Slowly getting better Hey- if your machine makes you happy that is good enough for me. Now- back to the OT-> I've been using Win7 for more than a year now and watched it grow in speed and stability along the way. I will update all my family's machines once it hits the stores in October. We have been using Vista and never had a problem with it.

Sometimes, when I'm diapered, I will go sit. It's less strain on my diaper that way- sometimes it's the only way to make it thru the day. I always sit when I am having diarrhea issues. Much safer that way.

These are the most comfortable pullup I have ever tried. They fit me snugly, have a thicker feel than most, and have very good capacity for a pullup. However, they are still pullups. To change them you still have to take your pants off- PITA. I much prefer Abri-Wings or Euron Wings for daytime use.

Weather has been hard on all delivery services right now. My i/c has flared up again, so I called Gary Monday and asked him to send me a few cases. They are due here today, and I don't think they will arrive on time. The interstate between here and there was closed last night due to flooding. I may have to buy more depends while I wait (yuck).
